They Called us promptly at 0900 and stated that they were to be here in a few minutes. Communication was amazing! This is our first time working with movers so my fiancé and I were a little nervous. When we met Justin Bell and Gus, they had made the whole experience and transition so nice! I was very impressed of how quickly they had moved all of our items and furniture to the moving truck! They wrapped our furniture very nicely and always had an upbeat attitude( Side note, we live on the second floor) Throughout the whole process, they were chatting with us and laughing and just in good spirits, again I am very impressed. Once we got to our destination, they were quick and swift in retrieving our belongings and bringing them down stairs and was able to place my items where they needed to be. All of our furniture and items arrived with no issues and no complaints. I definitely recommend Justin Bell and Gus! If you guys are ever are needing Movers, really, get these guys! They are so much fun and made this move for us a GREAT experience! They are such hard workers and you can definitely see it in their work ethic and attitude! Horrible moving experience -- significantly exceeded estimate, poor planning, and no resolution…read more I had a very disappointing experience with All Service Moving. I was originally given an estimate of approximately 3-4.5 hours and $690-$800 for my small single bedroom apartment. Instead, my move took approximately 6.5 hours and cost me over $1,000. A major issue was the truck that was sent for my move. I was moving out of an approximately 600-square-foot apartment, and the truck was significantly larger than necessary -- it ended up being only about 40% full. Because of the truck's size, it couldn't access the loading area where it needed to park, which meant the movers had to make much longer trips between the truck and my apartment. This added a considerable amount of time to the move. Photos and information about both locations were available beforehand, and had been viewed so I don't understand why an appropriately sized truck wasn't selected. The other major issue was the pace of the move. I repeatedly observed the movers not actively working. Nearly every time I went outside, they were standing around talking, laughing, or on their phones. When I went back into my apartment while they were working inside, I observed similar periods where they were not actively moving items. I completely understand that reasonable breaks are necessary, but this was far beyond what I expected when I was being charged by the hour. The movers were polite during the actual move, and I initially had no concerns about their interpersonal conduct. Unfortunately, that changed afterward. One of the movers began repeatedly contacting me on my personal phone asking about a tip and a five-star review. I repeatedly explained that I intended to tip but was waiting for a bank transfer to clear and that it would take a few days. Despite that explanation, I received multiple texts a day asking about it. I ultimately felt harassed and uncomfortable enough that I blocked the number. I contacted the company afterward and gave them a detailed explanation of my concerns, including the oversized truck, the additional time and cost, the repeated periods where the movers weren't actively working, and the inappropriate pressure regarding the tip. Unfortunately, they did nothing to resolve the situation. The Operations Manager's response was simply: "It is Unfortunate that I must inform you That we cannot issue you any kind of reimburse you any kind of refund." There was no meaningful response to the specific concerns I raised and no attempt to address why a move estimated at 3-4.5 hours and $690-$800 turned into a 6.5-hour, $1,000+ move. I was promised a certain level of service and a guaranteed timeframe/cost, and that expectation was not met. I gave the company an opportunity to make the situation right, and they declined to do anything. I would strongly recommend getting very specific information about truck size, access, estimated hours, and what happens if the move significantly exceeds the estimate before booking with this company. My experience left me feeling like I paid substantially more because of poor planning and an inefficient move, and then received no meaningful response when I brought those concerns to the company.

My two movers arrived 5 minutes early, listened carefully to my instructions, and efficiently wrapped my belongings. I moved from a one-bedroom to a studio, and everything was completed in under 3 hours, including the drive (~30 min). None of my belongings were damaged, and there was no damage property's elevators, walls, or common areas either. I was quoted $600 for 3-hour minimum, but negotiated down to $550 because I knew my move was going to be quick. Mpaly had no problem giving me the discount . I would absolutely use them again in the future and have already recommended them to friends and family. Cascade Moving is the only moving company to use in Seattle…read more I've had 3 moves in 3 years. Cascade Moving was, hands-down, the best moving experience among the companies used for a local move within (or just outside) the City of Seattle. Pricing for labor and materials fell at the mid-point of the bids collected for a move needed in early September 2025; however, it was the customer service experience that influenced the choice to use Cascade Moving over its competitors. As I told the company in a quick email I sent at the end of the move, the move went so well for me to want to say, with the upmost sincerity, that I had had the best time ever. Aside from the fact of how well cared for my belongings were treated during the move, for me just being there with the crew (watching how well they worked together and the camaraderie that they had with one another) was amazing. In that moment, I had said (and as I had told the crew after the move was finished) that I had had a good time during my moving day and to offer a "thank you" to everyone at the company who were involved in making my move a success. Quality of service began with no request for me to complete an online form to inventory my own belongings: I had a 30-year professional mover show up at my house, physically walk with me through my home to asses my things and inventory my belongings by looking into (and at) every piece of furniture, and write-up a bid as the assessment progressed. An estimate was emailed after one business day. No pressure was given to book a moving date immediately (no multiple texts or emails reminders). No pressure was given to make a security deposit to reserve the truck (no multiple texts or email reminders demanding pre-payment). Space was given to allow time for me to collect other bids and make sure that Cascade Moving was a good fit for me and my inventory. Communication was clear and open and to-the-point. There was even an offer to supply a ream of packing paper and a couple rolls of tape (at no cost) to help me get my move started. Quality of service continued on the day before the move when an outside complication affected the load. The same representative came back out to the house to assess the issue, make slight adjustments to the bid, and offer assurances that the move would go smoothly because the crew would be able to handle the last-minute changes. Quality of service continued on the day of the move at the point of origination. The truck showed up at precisely the time scheduled on the bid sheet: not a minute earlier, not a minute later. The 3-member crew was calm yet upbeat, professional yet friendly, and a whole lotta fun to be around for the next 5¾ hours. It was clear that the crew not only enjoyed the job that they were doing, but they also clearly enjoyed working together at a team. The pre-move instructions during the walk-through by the crew to discuss what was to be moved, what items were to remain, and which items to flag for unusual disassembly and special handling were needed to only be repeated once. Care was shown for all my belongings, strategy was demonstrated during loading, and concern was felt to make sure a very stressful day went really, really well. As an added bonus, a smartphone app streamed a 70/80s AOR radio programming playlist from the crew chief's phone - a perfect pairing of classic rock to the vintage furniture and inventory being loaded on the truck. Quality of service continued on the day of the move at the point of destination. The truck was unloaded as efficiently as it was loaded. Instructions given as to where items were to be placed in the new house were repeated only once. Care was given for furniture arrangement and set-up, in additional to all boxes marked "OPEN FIRST" making their way either next to the counterpart piece of furniture or into the correct room. As an added bonus, though the instructions were for all boxes marked "BEDROOM" to be placed in the den, the crew placed 2 extra-large boxes marked "BEDDING" next to the bed in the master bedroom as a measure of practical discretion (which was a surprise much appreciated when the time came to make the bed to crash into after a long day). My only regret was not finding Cascade Moving before my prior two moves over the past two years crisscrossing Seattle. If I had, each of those moves would have gone much smoother, with significantly less minor damage to my furniture and belongings from a collection of nicks and dings, and proportionally less stress and anxiety for me to have to deal with the experience before, during, and after the move. We had to rent our own UHaul to finish moving what they told us they would move that they hadn't in the walk through at origin. And recruit friends and hire TaskRabbits to finish the job. So happy to have clothes delivered to our first floor kitchen when both bedrooms are upstairs and to find kitchen countertop appliances din an upstairs bedroom closet.

Please note that I am not one that is easily pleased or someone to make a mountain out of a mole hill...but I need to share with all that read these reviews: Seattle Movers are amazing!! I scheduled my move with Martin who was very detail oriented and answered all of my questions without hesitation. He took my credit card information and explained things clearly!! I received a confirmation email immediately as well as a confirmation phone call the day before (this is what I like)...as moving can be stressful and you just never know what or who you are going to get. The morning of my move I received another phone call for Garrett to share that they were on their way he was accompanied by Leland. They were on time and had all of the necessary equipment to make my move happen smoothly!! Garrett and Leland attacked my one bedroom condo with efficiency, care, speed and a bit of humor.....I just could not ask for a better combination of service. To be honest they were on the road to my new home before I locked the door. However as always Seattle traffic and a car accident delayed them for 15 minutes of which they took off my final cost....but I am jumping ahead of myself. While getting my personal items from the truck Garrett and Leland used the same efficiency, care, speed (they did not stop) and a bit of humor. Needless to say I was done and left to unpack and put things together in my new place in a 3 hour window!! The total distance of my move was about 13-14 miles... I'm not really someone who normally writes reviews, but I had such a good experience with Mountain Movers today that I just had to give them a big thumbs up. To begin with the move was unexpected due to a death in the family and I had to clear out an apartment with only a couple of days notice (at the end of the month busiest time). I looked thru Yelp reviews and called a few of the nearest companies only to find out that they were all booked up for about a week. The reviews for MM were all good; I called Martin at the Seattle number only to find out they were booked thru the week; I told him my story and he told me he'd see what he could do and call me back. A short time later Martin called back and said he could do the move the next morning!! The move itself was flawless, totally professional, and the two movers: Darrin and Soul were great guys who not only handled everything perfectly, but were fun to talk to and totally service oriented. Over the phone I probably understated the difficulty of the move a bit; the quote came in for 2.75 hours and guess what? The move was just that. The rates are very good and the quote was right on the money. The total experience was one of the best I've ever had with any business. I can totally recommend Mountain Movers. read more

Seattle Movers moved our daughter from Bellevue to Kirkland this summer. She couldn't be there at the time so we oversaw the move, and we can't praise Seattle Movers enough for the great work! They quoted 5 to 7 hours for the move. On the appointed morning they arrived on time, and managed to get the job done in 5 hours. We are very particular and there were many fragile items and delicate pieces of furniture, but Ben and Daniel were pleasant to work with and handled everything expertly. They were clearly quite experienced, and loaded the truck to optimize space, while securing everything well. The most amazing thing was how quickly they worked. They hurried back (up a flight of stairs) with the empty dollies to get another set of boxes to load, carrying as many as three boxes at a time on the dolly, carefully ferried inside a larger wardrobe box for security. They behaved as if they were working for a flat fee rather than by the hour, and their efficiency certainly saved us money. We really felt they respected our time and our daughter's belongings. Everything arrived in the new apartment in good condition. We highly recommend Seattle Movers, and would definitely hire them again for any future moves. Two thumbs way up. My husband and I are so glad that we hired Seattle Movers for our move from Seattle to Yakima. Moving is already so stressful, but these guys were fantastic and made our move so much easier. Victor and Adrian were right on time, and parked the truck safely in our very small and crowded parking lot (you know how parking is in Seattle). I had coffee, donuts, and bottled water ready for them, but they were so worried about running up my time that they didn't even stop to enjoy them, luckily they had time on the drive to Yakima. They made good time driving out to Yakima, and unloaded everything in no time. Victor even helped me put together a difficult piece of furniture, and I'm so thankful, because it would have taken me forever to do it on my own. The overall cost was exactly what I was quoted. I highly recommend hiring Seattle Movers and giving yourself piece of mind about the move ahead. Victor and Adrian were so nice, careful with all our stuff, and they worked really hard all day. Your guys were professional, with a needed side of humor. They never slowed down, always asked questions to make sure they didn't grab the wrong things, and when we loaded items in the new place they stuck around while we figured out if we needed anything moved around. They made what is normally a shitty experience, pleasant and considerably less stressful. I could tell one of them was hurt towards the end of the day but he never slowed down, complained, or gave any indication that he was giving less that 100%. That was impressive and I could only wish I had guys like that who worked for me. And to top it off, they were incredibly gracious even though there was weird family tension during the load out (my ex-wife showed up and made things uncomfortable). They represented your company well. In my work, that means a great deal, so I am giving credit where it is due. Bob and Adam were the best ! Extremely thoughtful, friendly, very skilled and went the extra mile to help out! They really made the whole process seem easy, my stress level plummeted the minute they arrived. They arrived right on time, finished the move in 4 hours (the weekend minimum for WA state) - this included assembly/disassembly of some furniture at both locations, taking care of things that were still unpacked (using their mobile wardrobes), helping sort boxes and placing them in various rooms to make unpacking easier, discarding things I did not want. Not a single item has been damaged/broken. I had some fragile collectibles - since I did not have time to pack them appropriately, I had moved those on my own ahead of time. In hindsight, that was not necessary since I'm sure even those would have been safely handled. I've moved 4 times in the last 12 years using professional movers - local and across the country - this kind of service was a first for me. Highly highly recommend them. read more

I agree with Andrew S. I've moved cross country and locally several times (with other movers). This was the best move experience by far. The movers were friendly and polite, on time, finished early, and did the work for a great price. They took very good care of each item, and of the condominium building into which I was moving. The property manager made a special point of observing how great these guys were -- the best he's seen. I especially appreciated their helping arrange the furniture and rugs in the new place, which they adjusted several times until I found the arrangement I liked best. They also dis-assembled and re-assembled my tricky bed frame. Oh -- and access wasn't all that easy. Several flights of stairs had to be negotiated when the tiny elevator couldn't accommodate something. These guys never complained -- rather they had a "no problem, can do" attitude that's refreshing. read more

I just got home from a trip to storage after selling my house and having to clear out. Leland and Tim were my movers. They called several times from the road giving me their ETA and hit it just about on the head. It was an AWEsome experience with these guys. This whole moving thing and having to go find a temporary place to live and put things in storage has been a NIGHTMARE - until today when Leland and Tim arrived. They are all business, all hustle and all about having fun, all at the same time. I can't tell you how much I needed a positive experience out of all of this, and these guys were it. And Martin, who is the dispatch manager and estimater is the most patient man in the world. I changed my moving date like 3 times at least. This was my best experience ever with a professional moving company. We used these guys to move our family from Seattle to Vashon Island. Because we had a lot of stuff and a 2500-square-foot house, they recommended 2 trucks with 2 movers each. That worked out great. Victor and his crew really hustled. They seemed very mindful of the fact that we were paying by the hour and they worked hard. We had boxed most of our stuff ourselves, but they brought their own extra boxes to collect those little random items that were sitting around the garage etc, so nothing got left behind. They were super careful with the fragile stuff, they didn't flinch at the heavy stuff, they worked their asses off, and they seemed genuinely grateful for the tips I gave them when the job was done. Had to Set up a very large move for my grandmother who had been in her home for 40 years and has a ton of antiques and trinkets. From start to Finish the Manager Martin was very decisive in answering all my questions without hesitation. The packing team arrived a day previous to the move and not only got everything packed up with care but were pleasant as well."My Grandmother can be very chatty :-) " After such a great experience day 1 I was feeling more at ease regarding the move to follow. Come move day I was not let down as the men Kyle, Mike, Ryan, and Vic were on time and moved with great teamwork. They even provide storage at their South End location as the remainder of her stuff that wouldn't fit into her new house. They were able to put it into storage vaults. Couldn't Be Happier!! These guys were amazing: 1) They came exactly on time. 2) They finished early. 3) The price came in barely half of what was quoted. That by itself would be good. But these guys also: 1) Were incredibly thorough and careful 2) Didn't break, damage, or harm a single item, including two-hundred-year-old antiques. NOTHING got lost. 3) Took apart all furniture they had to. 4) Put all that furniture back together in BETTER shape than it was when they arrived. 5) Helped pack stuff that wasn't packed. 6) Didn't mention that I had forgotten to buy lunch (certainly a faux pas). There were so many stairs, and so many pieces, I couldn't believe how good these guys were. I wouldn't recommend anyone else. I've used good movers before, but these guys are certainly a cut above. These guys were great! We have bribed friends and rented a U-haul up until now, and my fiance' joked that these guys may have saved our relationship. When they finished unloading everything, we had the energy left to unpack most of our stuff before we went to bed. Anyone who has ever moved themselves before knows you almost always end up injured and sore for 5 days after. We decided that we were going to pay someone to move us this time and it was well worth our money! These guys showed up and got to work right away! They moved us from Tacoma to Seattle in about 5 hours (including the time driving TO Tacoma). Getting a quote from them was really easy as well; Martin responded within hours of sending a request and was really helpful throughout the entire process. We were sent a talented team of guys - Vic, Xavier and Ray. They were awesome! We couldn't have been happier. Very professional, polite and courteous young men. Fantastic service. I highly recommend this company as I had a wonderful experience with them. They are incredibly capable, professional, and competent. Nothing phases them and they have solutions for everything. Jack and Leland moved me to my new 4 story house in Ballard. Everything was delivered in perfect condition in a timely manner. The stairwell is quite narrow in my home and I was very concerned that they would have difficulty getting furniture up to the different levels. They did a perfect job, had great attitudes, and I was very pleased at how smoothly they helped my move go. By the way, this company is very affordable as well. I've never hired movers before so I did a fair amount of research. All I have to say is that I'm so glad that I went with seattle movers! At first I was skeptical since they were only sending two people and we had a two bedroom apartment with lots of stuff. Joel and his partner were amazing!! They were so efficient, very respectful with our stuff, did not ding any walls and arrived early! It started raining really hard the day we moved but they still had a positive attitude. Booking was super easy and they were very professional. After booking, they sent me paper works via email. The night before they called to make sure everything was good for the next day. On moving day, they called before they left their facility and that they were on their way. Book them already! read more

Kyle and Josh got our belongings over to Eastern Washington from West Seattle (during rush hour) to our storage space in Spokane - met us within 5 minutes, unloaded without complaint, happy, and working their butts off the whole time. Always been afraid of horror stories of moving, but this was awesome. I can't recommend more. So professional... so nice to work with. Plus, I think these two guys should be making 10 times whatever they are as they worked so hard to get us over there (and in 90 + heat!) with their great attitudes. This was a great experience. If you need to move, go with them. And if you're lucky, you'll get Team Kyle and Josh! Also, customer service with Martin and Kirk was very great. Prompt, no BS. Seattle Movers was hands down the best moving experience I've ever had. Leland and Josh V. were incredibly friendly, fast and efficient. They loaded up my 5 room apartment within an hour, including helping me carry an old bed frame to the dumpster and had me unloaded almost as fast (there was an elevator to contend with). They came in under the quoted time and I was able to complete my move within the minimum 4 hours. Later, they found that my passport and checkbook had fallen out of something and drove them back across town to me! One other note, the truck is huge, clean, and very well organized. I will use them again, and I would recommend them to anyone. A huge thank you to them for making a typically stressful day so much easier. read more

I used Seattle Movers to help me move my property out of my old apartment to a new storage unit. When I initially talked to Martin in the office, he was very helpful in setting up the move and making sure I understood exactly what I was getting and what to expect When the movers arrived they all introduced themselves. They helped me pack items that weren't packed, including the kitchen. They made me feel comfortable that my property was safe in their hands. They did a great job of ensuring all the property fit in my storage unit and helped me put some items up front so I would have easy access to them in the future. It is hard to overstate how good these movers are. We had our house pretty well packed and ready to go but it quickly appeared the 26' truck may not hold all that was in my woodworking shop let alone the house. They did it! And they did it on short notice when I realized I had originally hired movers that come to find out had 230+ BBB complaints. It cost me a little more, but we think it was the smartest decision we made. We were doing a 3000 mile move to Maine using ABF Freight Lines. So Mountain Movers loaded up our belongings, took them to the ABF facility in Kent and loaded them on a trailer, this time taking only 24 feet of space saving us about $600. They were pros and acted it. As for damage, NOTHING! read more

I was extremely appreciative of Seattle Mover's speed at getting me a quote, and booking a time, considering how stressful moving is in general. All one week out from my moving date. Moreover, when they arrived on time at my tiny apartment, they got to work assessing and pulling out what they could to get everything started. From a ~430sq/ft place with an elevator, to a place with a long walkway and two sets of stairs, everything took 2 hours. This was ~25 boxes, and all the furniture that I could squeeze into that tiny place. I'm happy, nothing got damaged, and I would definitely recommend them for anyone else that wants a non-complicated and speedy experience. Thanks guys! read more

I hired On the Go to load a trailer in preparation for an out-of-state move. The moving team…read moreovercharged me (I had to get home office to do a correction), but that was only the surface. When I arrived in my new location, I had a different mover ready to unload the truck. What they found was astounding: The movers had paid no mind to how they stacked our boxes, crushing multiple bins and seeing boxes cave-in on themselves. These photos came from the other movers as they thought their counterparts did it, and were (in their words) "embarrassed." On top of this absolute disregard for boxes, 11 pieces of furniture suffered damage. Their label was "cosmetic damage," because nothing broke ... it's just visually damaged (deep gashes in wood, leather scraped off real-leather chairs). The care extended to a couch where they removed the peg legs and through them loose into the trailer (we had to find them over the course of the move). I documented everything, shared photos, etc. Their offer: $100 check due to cosmetic damage. And after a fairly pointed email about the negligence of how they packed the trailer, they just stopped responding. Now, here's the onus on me: I only did base protection. I trusted their reputation and after seven cross-country moves, felt confident we'd be okay. Shame on me, and that'll never be a mistake I make again. I don't expect anything to come of this for me. And that's fine. But hopefully at least one other person will be saved the frustration and expense.

I then lived in AirBnBs for a short time until I bought my next place. Then I hired Leland and team again. Because I packed up in small boxes, I was able to move some boxes myself and unpack before the big official move in date. That did reduce my cost on move #2. Nothing was damaged. I hope I don't have to move anytime soon. But I would hire Washington Movers again.

Of course, after talking about such a move for years, we decided to do it during the pandemic which made everything harder for us. We packed all our boxes ourselves, so hired Kedric to "tetris" everything into our PODS container. Kedric and his team did a great job of communicating with me on pricing, schedule, and services available. Overall communication was excellent. My 16 foot PODS container was not big enough for all my stuff so we had to extend the project to another day to load a second container. Both days, Kedric brought a team of 2 workers. He was good at managing them. Luckily due to the pandemic, Kedric's schedule was open enough to accommodate the second day. Everything was well packed, I guess we'll have to write another review when our new home is complete and we unpack our furniture and goods. Only then will we really know how well it was packed in the PODS. The one thing I wished I'd known was how many blankets were needed for packing around furniture and odd-shaped items like floor lamps. I had a few bedspreads and blankets but had to buy so many from Kedric that it really raised my overall bill. If I had to do it again, I would attempt to buy some lightly used blankets or buy a huge number wholesale. But that's not Kedric's fault, just my ignorance.
