(I no longer work for them) I had never used chiropractic or naturopathic care prior to working for them. Now I cannot imagine what my health would be without their care. He is simply amazing: highly attentive, knowledgeable, and we will continue to use this services. The method he uses differs in that it analyzes your condition to get to the root cause of your issue. Dr. Ramaley warms up your muscles before making the actual adjustments (a much safer, and much more comfortable method). I have been trying to recover from knee surgery for the past year and a half, and he pointed out why my recovery process has been slow. Dr. Ramaley is a treasure! I've been going to him for about 15 years, and his chiropractic skills are the best. Over the years he has fixed episodes of neck, low back, shoulder, and hamstring pain. Sometimes it takes one or two visits, sometimes six or seven, but the problems stay fixed. This is after seeing an orthopedist without success. He is also a naturopath, and figured out that a bout of muscle twitching was due to a magnesium imbalance after taking high doses of calcium (something the neurologist I saw previously did not). Taking magnesium solved the problem in a week. In addition, Dr. Ramaley is extremely gentle, kind, and caring. It sounds like a cliche but he is a true healer. read more

I always try to schedule a visit with Dr. Ramaley and Dr. McQuaig when I am in Seattle. They take the time to really listen and have always treated me with the utmost care. They each have their own specialties and are both top-notch diagnosticians, often helping me heal from ailments other doctors (particularly allopathic MDs) have not been able to treat effectively. Now I typically don't go to a Naturopath. I guess I had some false perceptions (well I know NOW what I was thinking BEFORE was false). I thought they would be too "woo-woo" for me. I was totally wrong. I like my primary care doc at Polyclinic but I LOVE the doctors here. You know it is good if you have been to 2 massage places and several friends and they all recommended Dr. Ramely. First of all, they actually take the time to understand what your issue is. Shocking since in a typical doc's office they are in and out barely looking up from their clipboard. This is not the case at Seattle Natural Health. They take time to listen - like really truly listen. They give you time. Seriously- listening and time should be mandatory at every doc's office but sadly it isn't. They are more hands on. They are not pill pushers. Most importantly, they are successful. My back/butt pain is gone with the help of Dr. Ramaley and Dr. Beth. I saw them for physical therapy / chiropractic stuff but will be back for other things since Dr. Ramaley is also a Naturopath. I had a small issue with my bill and their staff took care of it. Everyone there is so wonderful. The only odd thing is that they are only open 4 days a week BUT they are open nights and AGAIN a rarity since normally I have to take off work to get to any appointment. read more

Over the last 7 or 8 years, I've seen Dr. Ramaley and Dr. McQuaig for various health concerns. I can say, without a doubt, that the treatment I've received from these docs has changed the course of my health - for the better! The biggest things are that I no longer have to take daily prescription allergy medicine and IBS is gone. I've been seeing Dr Ramaley for about 7 years now and I can't praise him and his methods enough. I refer to him all of the time and everyone I refer to him loves him as much as I do. I know that the kinesiology testing can be controversial, but all I have to say is that it works for me. He's helped me with issues I've dealt with for years that regular Western trained MD's couldn't fix - and he did, sometimes within 1 treatment. Yes, the supplements can be expensive but they are the highest quality you can get (I also am an herbalist so I have the background to know) And I am fond of his chiropractic adjustments in particular because they are gentle and he doesn't adjust just to adjust - he only does what you need and no more. Dr. Ramalay is the best doctor I have ever seen. He's helped and my kids and husband with numerous issues. I have been seeing him since 2003, and I live in West Seattle and it's WORTH the drive. My children and I regularly go up there two to three times a year for general maintenance. I especially have noticed a difference with my two year old who has seen Dr. Ramalay since birth. I love these doctors! Depending on what I have going on, I'll make an appointment with one or the other. I've seen Dr. Ramaley for multiple things, thyroid, fatigue, acid reflux, depression, etc. I've moved to LA and haven't been able to find anyone like him. If I ever have any kind of serious illness (god forbid!), I would definitely make the journey to Seattle to see him. I came here to see Dr. Ramaley for his naturopath experience (not for chiropractic needs) and I was very disappointed. He spent only 15 minutes of a 60 minute appointment with me and did not listen to my primary medical concerns - he instead went immediately to his muscle/organ testing based on what he wanted to test. It seemed a little hokey and I spent more time with his very young medical assistant (? - not sure what her educational background is) and left the office no better or more informed than when I entered. I went along with blood tests and some supplements but found I was in better hands with my awesome nutritionist and acupuncturist. Ok, I admit when hearing and reading about applied kiensiology I was skeptical. But after suffering for 15+ years, seeing over 20 doctors/specialists (possibly more), thousands spent on medical tests, thousands spent on prescriptions that never helped, hundreds of allopathic lab tests later (which found nothing), actually being the living dead (all the while my allopathic docs are telling me my tests look fine nothing is wrong) finally feeling like I had one foot on the otherside, I was desperate... My first experience with applied kiensiology was with a woman by the name of Virginia Shapiro who I highly recommend if you live close by, located in Corvaliss OR. (I have family over there who recommended her care) I figured I had nothing to lose and went. My life changed within a matter of days after seeing her. She and Dr. Ramaley both found the root cause of illnesses with applied kiensiology that no amount of traditional testing found. So some may say it's Woo-Woo but after my experience I would say not, if anything it's more accurate than any of the broad form traditional testing I have received from the allopathic M.D.'s. I would also like to state I did receive traditional testing for problems found and they were right! I am a believer! Your body tells a story and if some one has the skills to read the story it can guide you to recovery. She then referred me to Dr. Ramaley Naturopath Doctor and Chiro. for continued care in Seattle where I live. I was excited to know I could receive whole body holistic care similar to her approach here in Seattle. Dr. Ramaley is very kind, thorough, intuitive and took the time to look over my extensive medical history and pages of symptoms. Everyone here was sooo nice. They all take the time to listen to you and seem to really truly care. I saw Dr. Ramaley for back pain that I have had for over a year and nobody was able to get rid of! After 2 visits, I felt like new: no pain! I have never seen a natropath before, but I am planning on using Dr. McQuaig as my PCP; I have really been missing a holistic approach to my healthcare with my current PCP.
