She gave me a thorough examination using the iTero scanner and showed me what my teeth would look like with the Invisalign treatment. Thuy, the receptionist, was super helpful in breaking down what my insurance covers and the cost of invisalign I would pay. Came back a separate time to get my teeth cleaned with Dr. Daniel Lee, and he'll explained everything I had questions on. If you're a new patient, he does x-rays and two sets of scans of your teeth, so you have lots of records of your teeth. This new patient process take 1 1/2 hours and it's all worth it! I would advise people to come 15 minutes earlier than your scheduled appointment. Mostly to play with their dog and to fill out insurance paperwork.

I am happy to say after getting a second opinion, I am able to get the entirety of my dental care for around $500 in 5 sessions and no crowns or root canal... not sure how they made the 8.5k jump. I won't be surprised to see this place fall apart after a series of lawsuits, and I truly hope no one has to experience what I went through at this horrible place - always get a second opinion!

The dentist, Dr. Bello, was professional, but my experience with the hygienist, Kelly, was extremely negative. At that time, I had just moved to the United States, did not speak English well, and naturally relied on my husband to communicate. Instead of showing understanding, Kelly made remarks suggesting that I was like a child depending on my husband. I found this deeply mocking and humiliating. During the cleaning, she smiled while inflicting pain on me, and it felt cruel and deliberate. As an Asian immigrant who couldn't speak English then, I felt that she treated me differently in a way she would not have treated other patients. That made the experience even more painful and isolating. I cannot confirm whether Kelly is still working there, but that experience left me with lasting trauma and a deep mistrust toward dental hygienists in America. In my opinion, no patient should ever be made to feel ridiculed or discriminated against because of language or cultural background.

The office is very clean, well-maintained, in a great location along the west coast of Lake Union, has ample parking, and [BONUS] a great view of the marina. But like quite a few other reviews mention here, she said I had cavities and I needed at least 3 fillings. I was taken aback because while I've had cavities in the past, they were always minor, and I've never, ever needed fillings. She seemed to take offense that I was questioning her expertise, which I can understand, but that surprised me that in just 1 year my teeth were decayed that bad despite for years during my previous checkups I'd get a thumbs up and the usual "your brushing is good, but you gotta floss more, don't skip it!". So, I went with it. I go for the concurrent fillings - paying out of pocket because insurance does not cover all of this, and each time they were painful and just all around unpleasant. After the first one she did I simply asked her, 'if there is usually any discomfort with fillings? I heard root canals were the painful procedures.' She simply said, "I know what I'm doing and have been doing so for xx years." Also, I had pain in my teeth and even now, occasionally have pain when I eat something. That never happened before I got these fillings. Just as she advised I made it a point to brush very thoroughly and floss both twice daily, sometimes I'll do 3. She still remarked that 'if I brushed more consistently, I wouldn't have to scrape plaque under your gums.' Because this was probably my most unpleasant cleaning I've ever had. So, between my recent visit and the fillings, I think this will be my last visit here.

And they aren't afraid to tell you that they know what's best for you!! they feel like family, from Dr. Bajwa working hard to keep your mouth healthy whilst making sure you feel comfortable with the process, to the Hygienists (Tina, Angie, Nada, and Mariana) who make polite conversation, are super gentle if you tell them you have any pain, and generally make you feel more relaxed as the dentist could be a stressful place at times. But my favourite person there is Crystal! she's so sweet and kind and never misses a beat when it comes to you. She always lets me know the dates of my appointments more than once! She's a sweetheart and isn't afraid to show a little compassion and empathy, and the only dental office person i know to accept hugs! But she still has to do her job! so cancel before it's too late, and don't blame others for your own mistakes either, we're all adults here. :) All in All, i've been going to this dentistry all my life, my parents and grandparents have gone here and so will my kids! I started with Dr. Laura Sauvage at their Westlake Ave N. location, and now I am a patient under Dr. Wilson. When I first met Dr. Sauvage years ago, and learned of all the work my teeth needed, I was in a very dour mood, being that I was around 32 at the time, and most people don't deal with this level of tooth trouble until they're 60! Dr. Savauge was very patient and kind, and gently explained why all the work was necessary. Three years of Invisalign, metal braces, an abscessed tooth, and now 17 crowns later over seven years, I am still a proud patient of theirs. My attitude towards life and the profession of dentistry is as transformed as my mouth is. I share a smile with anyone I can, and I'm proud to share it because of their excellent work. A lot of people hate going to the dentist, but not this guy! I love everyone in the office, and if there was a sainthood for dentistry, they should all be canonized. We have a lot of laughs together every time I visit. Thanks for teaching me how to laugh and smile, even when it hurts a little!
