If you want professional treatment and people you can LOVE this dentistry is the right choice. They always show the most amount of care and attention to whatever you want them to look at! even if it's just a burn on the mouth :) They do excellent dental work, are amazing with children and put their entire focus on your needs, i bet you can't name a single dentist you haven't seen a kid come out crying, well i can! They're never rude or disrespectful towards anyone and explain insurance, procedures, appointment times as many times as needed to avoid any miscommunication. And they aren't afraid to tell you that they know what's best for you!! they feel like family, from Dr. Bajwa working hard to keep your mouth healthy whilst making sure you feel comfortable with the process, to the Hygienists (Tina, Angie, Nada, and Mariana) who make polite conversation, are super gentle if you tell them you have any pain, and generally make you feel more relaxed as the dentist could be a stressful place at times. But my favourite person there is Crystal! she's so sweet and kind and never misses a beat when it comes to you. She always lets me know the dates of my appointments more than once! She's a sweetheart and isn't afraid to show a little compassion and empathy, and the only dental office person i know to accept hugs! But she still has to do her job! so cancel before it's too late, and don't blame others for your own mistakes either, we're all adults here. :) All in All, i've been going to this dentistry all my life, my parents and grandparents have gone here and so will my kids! As long as there is a dentist named Dr. Bajwa and a dental receptionist named Crystal, I really can't see how you could go wrong with this place. read more

Barbara front desk was unbelievable rude. Hygienist was also rude. Not sure why. Everything seemed great at first but now the service and care has gone downhill. The doctor hasn't been around lately. We have already been seen by two subbing doctors. No reason to be treated poorly or receive poor care when there are many other options in the area. read more

I'm 48 years old and I've seen a lot of dentists in my time. Dr. B is the best. He's funny, he's great at his job and best of all, he's honest. He won't add a bunch of bs to your bill. My family has seen him since he started in Burien. It's only now that I've changed dentists (because of a move) that I fully appreciate what a good thing I had going. One time, my son had a dental emergency. Not only did Dr. Bajwa come to the rescue after hours, but he changed his plans to leave town for us. That's a dentist you don't find every day. read more

I had my first appt today at new wave dental and i can't thank them enough. I haven't been to the dentist in many years, so I was extremely nervous and anxious. I really fear going to the dentist and was expecting the worse. However, the moment I walked in, everyone was extremely welcoming and kind. Dr. Bajwa was wonderful and his team is just phenomenal. I had an appointment for cleaning but then I had to all that morning to cancel it because I woke up sick and had covid symptoms. Of course it was not a good idea to come to the office with coughing, fever and sore throat. I called that morning and spoke to Crystal about canceling the appointment because I felt very sick, she talked to me with the worst attitude ever because I canceled my appointment last minute. I was too sick to fight back. Do you really want me to come in that day knowing I had covid symptoms?? and now they give me a bill for $50 failed appointment. I am extremely upset about it. This is the ONLY dentist I trust! In the last twenty years, I've had horrible, expensive, traumatic dental experiences, in West Seattle! A friend/patient told me about this office, and SO grateful! Crystal is amazing! She works with the insurance, billing issues, and her personality is so upbeat and positive. Dr Bajwa is the best Dentist I've ever had. He's patient, detailed, and he doesn't refer out for root canals or implants! That is a first for me! He does them himself, and the cost is significantly less than I've had to pay specialists in the past. Dental care can be expensive, even with insurance. I'm at the age where I grind teeth, and have broken teeth to the root. I have anxiety with dental care/surgery and this office offers conscious sedation for root canals, dental implants. The result is so much less traumatic! If you don't know bad dental care, expensive outside referrals for root canals or implants, have never had anxiety when you had to keep your jaw open for a root canal, you might not get how great this office is. I'm NEVER switching dentists! I referred a co worker who was in pain with teeth, and his long time dentist was going to drain his pocket for repairs. 2 months with New Wave, and he's done! His insurance covered almost all, and he's no longer in pain. I don't give detailed reviews to this extent, but if I've had an issue, this office worked me in, AND solved the problem. I've spent money above insurance, but that's expected. This is the only office I refer friends and co workers to! read more

Dr Bajwa and his entire staff are great. I was actually a patient of the previous owner of the practice (Dr Anderson) and really liked him. I thought it would be a good time to switch to a dentist on Vashon Island, where I was living and not have to catch a ferry to W. Seattle. Unfortunately, once I saw Dr Bajwa for an appt, I could not leave-he is such a good dentist and a nice person-and so is every member of his staff. I loved Terry when she was there and now I love Crystal. Dr Bajwa explains things very well and answers all questions. When he had just started his new practice (2005 or so) he was willing to donate dental services (as Dr Anderson had been doing for years) for a non-profit in the area that helps people in need of dental services like root canals and crowns. Then in 2016 we moved to Northern California. When I took a trip up to Seattle last month, I stopped by to say hello to Crystal and the gang. I was also able to get Dr B's opinion about a dental issue. (Can you tell I trust his judgement?) He gave me an honest opinion which reinforced what I had planned for a particular tooth-- and made me feel more secure about my decision. He is a good guy. read more

I've been coming to this dentist for about two years. It is near my work and a coworker recommended it. When I went, I had skipped several years of going to the dentist and was an irregular flosser. I was totally embarrassed, but the staff did not shame me at all and complemented me on the condition of my teeth. Everyone who works here is incredibly nice and professional. Dr. Bajwa is great. My insurance covers it, and when I have had to pay for extra work they have been great about accommodating my budget with payment plans. There are no televisions and entertainment amenities, which annoyed me at first but they said that it distracts patients and creates extra time which makes sens. The staff are fun and interesting and bringing my kindle helps. read more

This happened last month, but it still irritates me enough that I created a yelp account. I brought my daughter in to see Dr. Desai for one of those 6-month routine cleanings after our family's previous dentist moved locations to Woodinville (to be closer to his own family). I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Desai in early summer. She is straightforward, efficient, and patient to listen to my latest concerns about my teeth. Sadly, my daughter's schedule between school and extra curriculars are not conducive to Dr. Desai's availability, so we chose to see Dr. Bajwa last month. We showed up a little early and ended up being seen about 15 minutes later than expected. Okay, so maybe it's busy, but could someone at least let me now they're behind schedule? The hygienists were lovely and did an excellent job. Unfortunately I don't recall her name, but she was super sweet and gave tips about flossing to help prevent greater tartar buildup for next time. X-rays we're remarkably painless and quick - I expected it to take much longer and I appreciate the diligence taken to keep up with the advances in dental technology. Then the doctor came in. Dr. Bajwa was rushed, and by the end of our visit he seemed predominantly occupied with something else. Almost irritated with our appointment? He didn't seem to take us seriously and he ignored some of the curious questions from my daughter (e.g. what is tartar, what does it do, where does it go, can I swallow it, etc). I get being busy, but I don't get being whisked out in under 5 minutes just because my kid's cleaning habits are good. We were finished and rushed out the hygienist station before we could really feel satisfied with our care and ideas for further preventative maintenance. The final say for a dentist goes to my daughter - it's HER mouth, not mine. She hated feeling ignored. She's in middle school and not a total idiot to overlook an adult that doesn't care about her. Compared to our previous dentist, this was awfully rude. I believe education and communication should be a primary goal and focal point of medical visits, not an afterthought. It's a shame that Dr. Bajwa appears to think otherwise. Looks like we'll be traveling to Woodinville for our dentist again. read more

I have been a patient at this location for thirty years. Would never go back. Actually tried to give me a root canal had to be redone by someone who actually new what they were doing. He even called me and gave me my money back to remove my review. And I did for a while but I think the public should know. Not only his bad dentistry it was the total incompetence of the front desk. Dr. Bajwa has been my dentist for about 4 years now. Previous to that my dentist was the same one my mom had as a kid. He had retired and I didn't like the new guy who took over. For some reason my parents always took me to an adult dentist who was not funny or personable with kids. Whatever it's just teeth you might say. Well everyone switched over to Dr Bajwa and I was the last to make the switch. I'm so glad I did. They have the nicest staff. Portia and Crystal are awesome. They send you reminders when your appointment is near and do all the insurance stuff. Usually I have the same hygienist MJ she is cool. Never a wait when you come in and very calming atmosphere. I like that they will put on any music you request and Dr. Bajwa is so humorous and funny. He is also a hockey player which is ironic because most hockey players have missing teeth. It's something to talk about each visit with the playoffs and different teams etc. I've had a few fillings here and they were a breeze. I hate novacaine but can't escape that. The high pressure water jets are a much better alternative then traditional flossing there. Cleanings are quick but effective. I actually enjoy going to the dentist and I now have healthy gums and teeth because of them. Thank you. read more
