On our trip we chose this restaurant for a late dinner as it is near our hotel. Everyone enjoyed their dinner, which is always nice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]That we were able to get a booth that fit 6 comfortably was perfect.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I shared an Orange Chicken Bowl with my wife and she had a cup of Chicken Chili, which she enjoyed. Based upon my dietary restrictions I should have said no broccoli but my wife liked it, so all good. Jamie was an excellent server both in making sure we all got what we needed but in sharing both personal things and info about the area.

Food was absolutely amazing, we came twice while here on vacation and both times it was absolutely delicious. The vibe was great and our servers were both super kind and helpful with menu questions.

We enjoyed our Vermont turkey, bacon and cheese sandwich and the Asian noodles salad. Service was friendly and efficient from an experienced waitress. Lots of variety and clearly popular.

Good food really quick. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice clean place as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Good service. Was able to walk over from my hotel so it was nice.

I have always loved Sebago. The salmon bowl was delicious. I've never been disappointed by going to any of the Sebago locations.

Been here a bunch of times, Decent location and easy enough to get to. Speciality drinks are pretty bland. Food is alright but nothing special to be sure. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Never too busy inside so you can get a table for a group easily enough.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Each branch location offers a different menu. It An be pretty annoying to say the least. They brew their ale which is not saying it is good but it is fresh so yeah. Over all I would say pass by and find some place with substance over the passing fancy of the place. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Truly it is a meh venue at best.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Maybe a first date place for a throwaway away but overall not a mainstay venue or top pick for anyone hoping to find a regular hang. Good luck out there!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere was very cozy and comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was very attentive and friendly. The food was amazing! We started with pretzel sticks, with mustard and we added beer cheese for an additional fee. Both dips were amazingly good! Then we both got steak and cheeses. They were good, but had a bit too much cheese that made them a little messy.

Excellent service by friendly and welcoming staff. The food was exceptional, served quickly, and at a reasonable cost. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The music could have been a bit quieter, but I am being nit-picky to have anything to say less than perfect.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There is a full bar too. I highly recommend Sebago Brewing Company!

Note that 5 star is on a pub food scale, and Sebago shined tonight! Service from Shannon was excellent! It was great that Shannon was also gluten-free, as was one of my companions, so she was familiar with the GF options on the menu inside and out Food was spot on, the gluten-free buffalo chicken tenders on the salad were, according to my friend, absolutely amazing and she couldn't stop smiling with every bite. The burger was piled high and juicy. The Rueben was filled with lots of real corned beef - a hefty sandwich you really should eat with a fork. The few bites I managed to save and take home tasted great cold a couple of hours later. Good place for a conversation, relaxing, not fussy, plenty of food and drink options. A great place to go for pub food.

Classic restaurant cancelling an order a full 40 minutes before closing. This is to the owners/management: if you and your staff want to close at 9 pm, don't be open until 10 pm. It really is that simple. If you close at 9, your staff can go home at 930. Why are you open til 10 taking orders if the intention is to go home at 930? Also, the food is mid

Consistently good food, located right near the mall. Lots of seating and a big bar. Service is always great and the food is too. Mostly bar food but have some other interesting things like a tuna poke bowl which is really good. My favorite is the chicken sandwich. I am not a huge fan of beer but I heard it's good. A solid spot for lunch or dinner or just watch the game at the bar.

Our bartender was knowledgeable, friendly, and chatty. That cruising the menu we settled on adult beverages,. Their IPA for me and my wife ordered their raspberry sour. I had a lot of hope for their IPA but unfortunately it was fairly pedestrian. That said, my lobster roll made up for it all! I decided on going for the max size. Though a little pricey, if you're hungry it's the way to go. With that I enjoyed a decent side Caesar salad. My wife ordered their French dip with tater tots. The sandwich smelled and tasted delicious. Unfortunately the tots could've used a few more minutes in the fryer. All said it was a good meal. Will be back? We'll see.

The soup came out hot with plenty of potatoes. There's is GF which is a plus for me. Disappointed because it didn't seem creamy enough, like there was no dairy at all. Plus, they put thyme in it. If you know about clam chowder, NE style does not have thyme in it, but Manhattan style does (the red one). South Portland's is better. Sorry! The Greek w/ chicken was excellent. Plenty of chicken, olives, etc. Just enough dressing. A large portion. Sea Dogs overall is ALWAYS a great option. Great staff, good food, lots of choices and fresh. The place is always clean. Had no idea all three were located here, pleasant surprise. I enjoy Allagash white so we decided to stop in. The campus is a good size with gigantic tanks no doubt filled with liquid gold! Outdoor seating area with fire pits for warmer weather enjoyment. Entrance had a woodsy feel to it with signage that was clear to read. In the courtyard you choose which way to go; right heads into the outside beer garden and left brings you inside the brewery and gift shop. Beer garden for us. Seeing that it was covered by a tent thought for sure it was going to be cold inside , we were pleasantly surprised! Decor was paper chains and tissue paper hearts for Valentine's season. They had a creative station for folks to make their own Valentines. Also in the same area was a game bookshelf filled with board and card games to play. At the bar was a young man smiling as he welcomed us. We read the menu and for something different I chose "Cabin Weekend" the name reminded me of our camp in the Western mountains. We both enjoy whiskey so thought the aged barrels used for this brew would make a tasty treat. Grabbed our beers and then over to the food truck attached to the tent, clever. Bite into Maine is the food truck here today, unsure if different trucks come here or not. We wanted something small and shareable. Mac and cheese it was. We sat down at one of the many empty tables and began to enjoy our beers and food. Cabin weekend was so delicious! It was a strong onto 8.9%! Tasty with the faintest hint of whiskey and a cabin feel for the finish. The Mac and cheese was dense and rich!! The fork could practically stand upon its own! It was good in my opinion however don't think I could have finished the portion in my own. We enjoyed so much we will be back for some to bring away with us to our cabin in the woods.

Several more visits since my last review…read more Some things haven't changed: -- The beers are still great. Swish, Here's to Feeling Good All the Time, Nothing Gold, and Reciprocal are a formidable foursome. At any given time, you can usually get at least two, more often three, sometimes all four. -- You'd be hard pressed (pun intended) to find a better smashburger in Portland, but I'd also put it up against any regularly-offered burger I've had in Portland--smashed or otherwise. I love everything about it, from the high caliber of the beef to the fresh pillowy milk bun to the exhilaratingly strong cure of the bacon to the razor-thin cutting of the vegetables to the execution that gets even a smashburger burger juicy. -- I'm still not crazy about the wings. They have a frozen dinner feel to them. A few things, though, have changed: -- Full service now instead of having to order everything at the bar. That's a plus. -- The place is much more crowded-- including screaming tykes-- on the weekends. Not a plus, but can't fault a place for its own popularity. -- The fries are now the industrial strength coated kind. A big minus and a sad drop off from prior greatness, but better that than from an item off the main cast. -- You can now order beer cans to go from the table rather than having to get in line. A nice convenience. A few things to know: -- It's a surprisingly good option for vegetarians and pescatarians. The veggie burger and the grilled fish sandwich are both much more than solid. -- There's outdoor seating in front of the building and also to the right. -- The bar room to the right of the entrance is adults only, so if those screaming tykes get on your nerves, this is the place to be. -- You can still order beer at the bar if that's your preference over table service. Still a favorite, and the combo of beer, food, and space is tough to beat (Mast Landing and Maine Beer in Freeport are also somewhere in that echelon).

As an IPA fan I enjoyed this new version very much for its hop saturated citrusy forward taste that drank quite smooth for the 9.5%. At this point now Bissell is broken into two separate parts. The first will be the space welcoming to families and is more of their restaurant style area. Appeared to be a popular area and does offer reservations. My preferred area is the Bissell Garden as they call it. Those entering need to be of drinking age and have more lounge vibes where you order at the bar. It still offers full kitchen menu so is perfect. Particularly my favorite is snagging bar stools to grab some beers and food. I had to try out the Super Swish while my wife grabbed their red ale named Turnpike. Then food wise we split their kitchen special Classic Poutine. Some of the best classic kept simple poutine I have had. The perfect comfort food for yet another cold weather day in Maine. Have been impressed by all the food from Bissell. Truly the only negative still stands being the fact it's on Thompson's Point and required paid parking (not Bissell Brothers call but still). One of the most popular Maine breweries for a reason especially in the IPA game. Give all their other style of beers a try too though, top notch brewery!
