Really, I'd rate this place between 2 and 2 1/2 stars…read more We came here on a rainy Tuesday. We were looking for dog friendly places and this location came up. It's a very large venue which was nice as there was plenty of open seating. Our bartender was ok, nothing special. We asked for a bowl of water and he said there were two on the patio and pointed to one that had dog hair in it. We passed. We ordered a beer and four samplers to drink. We also ordered pizza but were told that the pizza place (Acre Pizza) couldn't do a half and half pizza and no modifications could be made. You can only add items on. So we ordered two pizzas and waited the 20-25 minutes. The pizza was ok, but nothing spectacular for the cost of 33 dollars per pizza, mine was a little burnt as well. The pizza came with two flimsy plates a few napkins and exactly 1 packet of red peppers and 1 packed of grated cheese. Just a heads up the Acre Pizza is a few doors down and when comparing menus there is a $5.00 per pizza mark up.

The space is nice- they have a lounge and an outdoor area, complete with a photo booth. Their selection of beers is pretty large and I loved the fact that I could get a flight/tasters for a reasonable price! They also have food options from the nearby businesses, so that's a super cool partnership/perk to have! I really liked their raspberry ale- it wasn't quite a cider nor a sour, but great for those who enjoy their fruity beers, like me. They also have space available to rent if you have any events, which is awesome. There was also a selection of different board games that you could just borrow and I thought it would've been perfect if we'd gone with a larger group. Overall, this is a great space with laid-back vibes.

In a bit of a panic, we found The Wild Orchid while frantically Googling at the crack of dawn and we're so grateful we did. Jane responded almost immediately, even on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, and within just a couple of hours we had arranged to courier our flowers to her. Her responsiveness, kindness, and professionalism during such a hectic moment meant so much to us. The final pressed arrangement was finished right on time and absolutely exceeded our expectations. It is stunning--such a beautiful, tangible way to hold onto such a special day. We couldn't be happier with the result, and we wouldn't hesitate for a second to work with Jane again for any future special events. Highly, highly recommend!

I've seen a number of his works before at the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento, but several of the pieces on display today were new to me--such a treat to experience different works up close. The gift shop is small yet thoughtfully curated, featuring items inspired by the current exhibit along with creations by talented local artisans. Admission is very reasonable, and students receive discounted entry at just $10. Donations are also warmly welcomed and help support this wonderful community art space.

In addition to the small gallery of (mostly local) artists, they also had some art pieces for sale. I was impressed by the quality of the work and fell in love with several pieces on display. Most of the pieces were also for sale, though nothing I would consider inexpensive. It's art, so you'll have to decide how much you like something and if you want to purchase it. It also seems like non-local artists could display work here if they were a member of the center. Maybe I should look into it! Really nice place to stop for an hour or two. Highly recommend it.
