My family and I have been buying cars and having them fixed here for almost 10 years. It's a great family business and there's a reason they've been in business for over 4 decades... Pete always has the lowest price on repairs. I live in Portsmouth now but have my car towed here for bigger jobs. Great prices and great cars for sale. Mark is a great mechanic and knows a LOT about the cars he buys. You might pay a little more (just a little) than other places but they are great cars and last forever!!! Second Car Center is by far the best automotive repair center in NH and I would argue the greater New England area. There are certainly fancier businesses with more car models to choose from but in my opinion at the end of the day, I care about getting a good product at a good fair price. Every repair I've had made there is done inexpensively, fairly and competently. I've been very happy with their service. Honestly, I can't even put a review in because we didn't even end up buying a car here but feel as though I should give a shout out to Dan the Salesman. A couple of Saturday's ago, I brought my son in looking for a car. They had something he liked but it was a manual transmission. He didn't know how to drive one. Dan, whether he knows this or not, gave him a huge life lesson and literally took 10 minutes and taught him how to drive it. I can honestly say it probably didn't mean anything to him except a possible sale but to a 19 year old, it was an awesome experience.
