Parking is nearby in a parking garage which is free for the first 3 hours with validation. Was in line around 06:20p. Just myself and about a handful of others waiting in line. Went in to speak with someone about checking in and they said someone will be out to do it at 06:30p. No one came out until around 7:00p. Finally got inside after receiving our wristbands. Ordered food at the concession stand and was told it'll be about 6 mins for everything. Grabbed some popcorn. It was free along with a soda or small bottle of essential water. Went and grabbed us some seats up top with no problem. Came back, food still wasn't ready. Went to the bar to grab us some drinks while we waited. Our food still wasn't ready. Went over to the waiting area where they give you your order, food still wasn't ready lol. We waited about 20 mins for our food. I ordered some plain nachos, veggie rolls and crispy sliders. So we missed about the first 10-15 mins of the movie. I'm not tripping I just would've appreciated a better time being quoted because the 6 mins really took about 20 mins. The bar drinks were good tho. Prices aren't bad either. A 6 oz glass of Chardonnay was $12 and a Golden Hour Sour was $16. Snacks and entree prices were reasonable also. No complaints on the prices and I enjoyed all of the food. It was also a good movie. Won't get into details but I'm glad I got the tix. We had a great night out. Look forward to doing it again.

Review #921 2025-098…read more I'm not usually in this area, but my friend received 2 extra tickets to see "Stitch Head" at the Cinemark Baldwin Hills. Waze was pretty accurate leading us to the theater & grabbing a parking spot close to the entrance. I'm not familiar with this brand because it's not close home (at least I didn't know until I looked them up). They're based in Plano, TX with a few operating near in S. CA like Carson, Long Beach, Downey, etc. My son & I ate linner prior to joining Lily W. & her husband so we skipped the movie snacks, though my son brought some of his Halloween candy as his post meal dessert. The concession stand is quite large, & was without lines for a Saturday evening even though there were plenty of good movie screenings. Check-in was easy since my friend arrived first & passed me our tickets to be scanned for entry. We were in the smaller theater in the back & almost had the whole place to ourselves with the exception of a family & a couple. We got center seats on the 1st row of the stadium seating so no view obstructions & I can rest/stretch my legs on the railing. The seats were a little lumpy, probably because there's a lot of movie goers. The sound system was crisp, though a tad too loud. The theater itself was clean. Stitch Head is an animated monster fantasy comedy with some cutesy songs; it's based from a graphic novel of the same name that's written by Guy Bass. It follows a mad scientist's 1st creation that guides & cares for his master's monsters, who is obsessed with creating new ones & ignoring them once they're alive. He later leaves for the circus, lured by potential fame. Stitch Head believes he's loved at the circus, but his friends, Creature, Arabella, & others, show him otherwise, & eventually make peace with who they (monsters) are & the Grubber Nubbin townsfolk, & accepted into the village as one of their own. Cinemark Baldwin Hills is not my preferred theater by location or brand, but it served its purpose... showing a fun family movie with great sound technology in a theater that we almost had all to ourselves.

I've been to…read morethis type of luxury theatre many years ago and it's definitely a good way to treat yourself. My son has been wanting to see Devil Wears Prada 2 and the first one is one of his favorite movies of all time. Personally, I don't like that movie but I went along with him. Tickets are $25 each and they have a $4 parking garage, but we were lucky enough to get a free after-hour meter on the street. It's a nice place and it seems like comfort is their top priority. The recliner chairs are extremely comfy and come with a blanket in case you get cold. You know how movie theaters are always chilly. Once you get settled, you can press a button that sends an employee over to take your order. It's completely optional. We got one small popcorn (light butter, $6) which was big enough for both of us. I like this idea of having the option of ordering and dining at your seat while watching a movie, but the reality is a bit different. It's kind of annoying to see the employees coming and going when someone needs a refill or places a new order during the movie. You can hear them talking and they can even block your view. It's frustrating when you are trying to focus. With that being said, I think it has more pros than cons. There are bars and bathrooms located across the several floors and the one we went to was exceptionally clean. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back to this theatre. I prefer something more standard like AMC or Pacific Theatres (RIP!)...

The first-floor lobby had no seating at all, despite the theater branding itself as a luxury, comfort-focused experience. I politely asked if I could sit for a few minutes in the empty restaurant seating area, which was completely unused at the time, and was repeatedly told no due to "policy." While I understand policies exist, I was surprised that no reasonable accommodation or alternative seating was offered for a disabled patron who was simply waiting for family. What upset me most was not just the lack of accessibility-minded accommodations, but the dismissive attitude I encountered from several employees and the difficulty I had even obtaining the manager's name. For a theater that emphasizes comfort and premium service, I expected far more compassion, professionalism, and awareness regarding accessibility needs.

I arrived around 4:40p and left around 9/9:30p the latest. Wasn't a long line nor was it a long wait while waiting in line. The even staff were friendly and professional. A backdrop was set up for pics. They also had a green screen set up so guests could take a pic and be digitally placed in a scene of the movie. I thought that was cool. They also offered free popcorn with a fountain drink. Ordered a "Ginger Margarita" at the bar before entering the theater. It was about $21 for cocktail. Wish I would've purchased the "Cutwater" instead. For $10 or $11 it would've been better sipping on that than the 21oz or 24 oz drink. Being that they fill the cup with ice, you're not getting as much of a drink as you think. Didn't have any issues getting thru and having my wristband checked. Was able to just walk on thru. I was pleasantly surprised by some of the modern concessions they had, specifically the cans of LaCroix they were selling. Love it. This is located on a busy part of Wilshire. But don't panic. There's parking for you if you're stealthy. Right before you approach the theatre, there's a small side street called Holt. If you turn onto Holt, it's free residential parking all the way down (please read the signs though). Parking closer to the theatre on this street will get you one free hour of parking but if you park several blocks down will give you more time. Consider this option if you don't mind a bit of a walk. I hope to come here for more screenings in the future.

Inquired when the movie would start told "it officially starts at 1:20pm" I thought: okay, cool! After some time: Food was finally ready then I have to show my ticket!? Recommendations: The security check and ticket check should be combined. No one has time to go through security checks, grab snacks then try to fumble thru your phone with snacks to show a ticket.... Irritant: The person who checked my ticket... did not do a great job at articulating herself "take 2 elevators or you can take the escalator in the back"!? Two elevators!? Girl what!? We went to see a movie on opening weekend, I was surprised that the movie was all the way up on the 3rd floor. That's inconvenient if you want to go buy more concessions or get refills because the only concession stand open is located on the first floor. It takes a lot of time to go down 3 floors then stand in line, so keep that in mind if you're in the 3rd floor. Then, lined up behind other early patrons, behind the sign stating ONE LINE. Whether you've pre-purchased tix online, or will purchase at box office, each guest goes in one at a time with an issued BO ticket stub. FAB! Greeted and welcomed warmly by staff. LOVED that the manager came up to the front on a mic and spoke a bit about the theater and the formats then announced house rules: cell phones away, no conversations, be a decent human. (I may have added the 3rd, but that was the gist.) Previews were curated to align with "True Romance" - SO COOL! We were treated to the original theater trailers for "Bandlands"(1973), "Bonnie & Clyde"(1967) and "Wild at Heart"(1990). Seats were comfy, traditional, OG movie theater seats. Plush fabric on padding - no reclining here! Our seats in the front row were a perfect distance to the screen and we thoroughly enjoyed "our movie." We have multiple formats and release of this Tony Scott(RIP) film from a Quentin Tarantino/Roger Avary(uncredited) script, but NOTHING beats the "pops", "hits" and beautiful colors of 45mm film. New Beverly Cinema is proud of their (Mr. Tarantino's) collection and lovingly share many awesome classics at a very fair price. I've previously purchased merch (Rick Dalton & international release version "Resevoir Dogs" shirts) for Hubs from their website and we've been happy with the quality of everything. Tonight, I was a bit disappointed they weren't carrying "True Romance" shirts, but that's okay, '...usually, that's the way it goes, but every once in awhile, it goes the other way too.' Cheers!
