I worked with both David and Ryan on filming my twin boys' 1st birthday party, and they did an incredible job! Ryan filmed the event the day of, and David edited the video thereafter. Ryan showed up early, set up, and got shots of everything I had asked for. I want to start this review first by stating if there is anyone saying negative things, they are obviously trolling and lying, because I could NOT think of one thing negative about this company! So believe what you want! So, I will be breaking this up into four parts: 1) Initial contact/communication; 2) Booking and preparation for wedding; 3) the event itself; and 4) Final product, i.e. video 1) Initial contact/communication Earlier this February 2018, our wedding was fast approaching and we had yet to book a videographer. We jotted down our top 5 picks based off reviews on Yelp/Google and decided to contact each to get quotes. What stood out with David and Deja Vu Productions was his prompt response by email. Mind you, at this point, we just wanted a legit, trustworthy, experienced videographer that would record our special day. David replied to our email, answered all our questions, and offered to speak over the phone to further explain any details that were missed. Having to wait several days to hear responses from other companies, we decided to meet David in person to discuss our options. He worked around OUR schedule and met up somewhere convenient for US. He was very polite and patient with us and took the time to answer any concerns that we may have had. Having only to put down a deposit to save our date, we had time to discuss what package we wanted that suited our needs for our wedding. 2) Booking and preparation for wedding In the next couple months, David would periodically touch base with us to see how we were doing and if there was anything he could assist with. We discussed packages and were very pleased with the final price, as quotes we received from other similar companies were much higher. Having already decided on what package we wanted, the price we would expect to pay, David said he would contact us as the day got closer. Once my wife and I had our wedding day schedule down to the tee, we received a call a few weeks before our event, as promised. We went over the schedule and locations with David, and all was set for the big day! 3) The event itself Our day finally came, and as promised, David and another videographer, Aaron, arrived early to our ceremony, ready to capture our life long memories. We had initially told them, "don't be shy, if you need to bother our guests for some footage, please do so." From our perspective, as well as from our guests and family, they were very polite so as to not disturb anyone from enjoying themselves. Instead of in your face paparazzi, they were more fly on the walls. We also hired a photographer with another company, and David and Aaron made sure to not get in their way and respect each other's work. Every time my wife or I would see David or Aaron, they were working, making sure not to miss anything! Very professional! The night ended, and David met with us to make sure there was nothing special they might have missed or if we had any special requests. We were excited for the final product! 4) Final product Along the way, David reached out to us to see if we had any requirements or requests for the video. Approximately 1.5 months after our wedding day, David had contacted us to let us know they are making the final touches to our video and would have it done very soon. Once completed, we received an email stating that the video was complete and requested that we review it and let him know if we wanted any changes. My wife and I decided to wait to watch it until our family was free to watch it with us. We were very happy that it turned out perfect! They captured every special moment, and made sure all of our special requests were honored. We could not be happier! If you need a videographer, save yourself the trouble of researching and contact David to see if he can provide you with the services you seek!
