Sometimes vintage can look costume-y but the owners here have an eye for finding quality fabrics and pieces that you can easily incorporate into a modern wardrobe. The merchandise is mostly worn out, broken down stuff that should have gone to the landfill. The store layout is a jumbled mess. The prices are way too high. I shop thrift stores for golf equipment of which I am an expert. The 25+ year old golf clubs and bags I inspected here were priced 4X - 5X higher than a starting bid on eBay for the same item. Go to the Thrifty Tails Boutique instead. It supports the SPCA.

The racks were full of colorful, sparkly things and it was impossible not to get into the spirit of it. I decided to lean all the way in and pick something a little funky to show up in. Viviane even found the perfect silly hat to tie the whole look together. She allowed me to get ready in the dressing room since I don't live in Truckee. She even turned on a little space heater for me to stay warm. She gave me a great deal and even gifted the gloves as well as a rose quartz crystal.
