I am a HUGE fan of thrifting and wear it again stores. Went to second love and the selection was excellent. From vintage tops and jeans, to beautiful dresses. There are shoes scattered throughout the store too. There is a room next door that has all the lululemon you could ever want. I met the owner and she was amazing, talking about the importance of ethical cloth shopping and what not. My only complaint is the prices. But here's the deal. You could go to a Much Cheaper thrift store and look all day to find one item of clothing OR you could come here... pay a little more... and take 10min to find several awesome items. Lots of cute stuff but unfortunately this business does cater to sizes 0-4. If you're those sizes, it's a goldmine. If you're a 6-10, you get a few items here and there but the bulk of the store was definitely not made for you. I think they could definitely try harder to source more items of clothes that are cute and not size 0. I probably wouldn't be back because of this but they do have some great items. read more

I found myself the most beautiful long dress ever here. Though it is very pricey because it's more of a boutique than thrifting, you can get your money's worth. This place is built inside a really old Victorian home and I really loved how vintage it was; the hipster vibe and the most unique pieces of clothing, paintings, jewelry and home decor. I noticed handmade jewelry that ranged up to $50, but they were made with time and care. The old Victorian home had about 6 rooms filled with racks of clothes, and knickknacks. The small closets were transformed into fitting rooms and they even have a full room filled with workout clothes such as yoga pants, bags, duffle bags, sports bras etc. Sam is a sweetheart and helped me out so much so I hope to do most of my shopping here. I LOVE this shop so much. The owner Kelly is so kind, helpful and keeps the store super clean. She's kinda like a personal stylist too. VERY good eye for fashion and can help you pick out what will look good on you or also something for a special occasion. Every time I visit the store there are new clothes and fun finds. This has also been a great place for me to bring clothes that I haven't worn in awhile to get some money back or use them towards new clothes. I highly recommend this place if you haven't checked it out yet! ALSO...the yoga place next door "Yogi Exchange" is also great for your athletic needs. WOW am I so glad I came across this place! I wandered in after shopping at Yogi Exchange (amazing athleisure- Beyond Yoga, Alo, Lululemon, Sweaty Betty....). I felt like I was shopping in my best friends closet- all of my favorite brands (Joie, Rails, AG jeans, Mother, ShowMeYourMuMu....) and every item was in amazing shape. Prices were MORE than affordable (I think I bought 2 shirts, 1 jumpsuit, 1 slip dress, 1 maxi dress- all name brands, some still had tags on them- for you $190). This is one of the best resale stores I have been to. There is a very wide selection of brands, clothing items, and sizes. The prices are all very fair and I have got many great deals on name-brand items! In addition to buying clothes, I also bring in many items from my own closet and have had great success selling them! The staff are all very welcoming and helpful whenever I visit and I enjoy interacting with them. I would say my experience was just meh. Nothing wrong but nothing special. I saw many brands I know that's being overpriced for used items. The items are sorted by color, which makes nice aesthetics but whenever I find something that looked good, they were not my size. this is my new favorite boutique in denver. as a rule, i try not to spend too much money on clothes and usually opt for thrift stores and buffalo exchange and other resale shops or high quality staples. but i've hardly browsed those racks now that second love is here. i was able to fill in the holes of my entire winter wardrobe here. and in one visit! the clothes are well-curated and priced right. there's a baby and maternity section too(and a kids corner filled with toys so my toddler can play while i shop!). the locally made jewelry and candles have come home with me as well. and katie and angie: dolls! the two owners who are also sisters are, as another reviewer said, genuine, sincere, and passionate about their business. i look forward to chatting with them whenever i go in. i've had good luck selling my clothes here (first sundays of the month) and usually opt for the trade (50% of value of clothes [or you can do 30% in cash]). they're gracious about sorting through your personal stuff (i know it's always weird having someone look through your wardrobe and say yay or nay!) and will give you a fair price or a reasonable explanation of why they might not take something that time around. read more

Not impressed AT ALL! I have sold tot he consignment shop up the street & have had wonderful luck. Here, I was quoted one price on the phone for my clothes and when I came to get my clothes & check, they changed their minds! No one gave me a courtesy call or even thought to thank me for my time. I was so annoyed. Angie - the buyer - just kept saying that they changed their minds. I asked if I picked up my clothes and went home if they would have called me and asked for the money back - of course she said no. But she had no problem not honoring her word and giving me half of what they had promised on the phone. I will not shop here or sell here every again. read more

A great new little vintage shop has opened next door to the bookstore and Happy Cakes shop on W. 32nd Ave on Highland Square. Carefully selected, high-end second-hand women's clothes and some baby/children's clothes and maternity wear. They also have some accessories like belts, shoes, and handbags for sale. This shop is in the bottom floor of a craftsman style house and is set up in a small retail space that is more reminiscent of an upscale boutique with the prices to go with it. You are not going to pay Goodwill prices in here--but you will find some well curated fashion brands and styles in good condition, gently used, for a fraction of their original retail cost. Sounds like they will be buying (outright, not consignment) items on one Sunday a month, but remember before you drag over a duffel bag full of your castoffs--they are highly selective! read more

If you're looking for $2 shirts, go to Goodwill. This place has a WONDERFUL selection of high-quality, gently used items. The sales person was super helpful when I told her what I was looking for and the atmosphere was homey and inviting. If you're looking for cute work clothes or something to look trendy, this is a great place! I'm not a size 4, so I was surprised and delighted to find things that fit and flattered! The prices are what you would pay for knock-offs for high-end items (free people, jcrew, etc.). They also have cute furniture, shoes and bags, as well as kids clothes (which I avoided because I would've spent my entire paycheck there!). Definitely going back! The pregnant woman was on her way to Happy Cakes and talking to a friend about how impossible it was to find maternity clothes that fit the "just too big for normal clothes" but not ready for anything that required the bump, yet. This store is a find. These sisters expertly buy used clothing, have Nordstroms, Anthropologie and designer brands. They purchase clothes often, as this shop has reasonable inventory turn over. Get on their mailing list of the next buying day by going into the store and signing up. Every time I go in there is some new treasure at an accessible price.
