Very clean and nice place for a pedicure. I got gel and my son got a regular one (first time)! It was our first time and I guess they are new owners but they did a nice job. One problem, their credit card machine and ATM were not working but I was able to Zelle my payment. Not ideal since I couldn't put my tip on the Zelle payment. And I only had $4 cash :/. Oh well, I'll get them the next time. Even my 7 year old said he'd come back :). Would have been 5 stars had it not been for the difficulty in paying. read more

I love this place! I was looking for a new place to have a very rare manicure and pedicure. I asked for a gentle technician and Angie was wonderful and patient. She even helped me with a very simple manicure...something I never do as I don't wear nail polish..but she found a very subtle color that just looks like my nails have some shine. This place is a hidden gem. No seriously it's hidden!! So hard to find but don't give up! I got a gel manicure that is now on week 3 and still popping! They use a hot towel and you get bonus shoulder massage that was divine. The pedicure comes with a paraffin heel dip! That's extra almost everywhere else. Update! Just wanted to say it felt great to return to my fav salon! My lockdown do it yourself mani pedi was just not cutting it! I was initially concerned about safety, but as soon as I walked in, and saw the plexiglass shields, everyone in masks, clients properly distanced , and sanitizing throughly between customers - I knew I could start to get a piece of my Pre-COVID life back that I truly missed! I drop my wife off at an Salon the other day and happened to go inside. I was profoundly impressed was not only the cleanliness but the high standard of infection control, better than I've seen in most doctors offices. I came to this salon out of desperation. My nails needed to be done badly and I only have Monday's off so my resources are limited to start. Also, keep in mind this place is in the middle of nowhere as was I. That being said, I turned to Yelp for local places. There were only 3 open. Ann's was closest. I called and explained that I had acrylic nails with gel polish. The very nice lady on the phone told me that they did not do acrylic only dip powder. With major hesitation I made an appointment. Long story short, this place is awesome. The girls are very talented and it is extremely clean. I very rarely tell people I am in the beauty business as to not make them nervous. The pedicure stations were immaculate as was the entire salon. It was relaxing. I almost fell asleep. Hats off to this place. I loved it and will be back. read more

Ann's Nails was great! It's tucked away in the back of the shopping complex so it's easy to miss,but that makes it nice and quiet. I got a gel manicure, pedicure and my eyebrows done, and the technician took her time making sure everything was done right. There was a great selection of colors for both standard polish as well as gels - you can even choose which scent you want for your pedicure lotion! I would definitely come back here if I found myself in Killingworth again. read more

This is my favorite place to get my nails done. It is very clean in the building and updated. They have just renovated the building and repainted, it looks great. When they do your nails they take their time and really try their best. They do a great job as well. My manicure lasted over two weeks. This manicure was just an original manicure with normal nail polish. I am so happy with this place. I love how it is a small town business, they become friendly and recognize their usual customers. Great pedicures depending on who you get. The last two times the girls rushed, my nails chipped within a week and they didn't do a good job massaging, it hurt and was brief. If you get the right person it's a great experience, if not, expect to need another pedicure within a week or two. They should easily last a month. It's very clean, everything is sterilized and/or thrown away with each client. John is my favorite tech. Great work and takes his time. Because you never know who will be available I probably won't return unless I'm in a pinch. read more

I use to use this spa on a regular basis, but a couple of years ago I went in and the nail tech did a terrible job because she was extremely distracted, on the phone most of the time while doing my nails. I've avoided it since. Today I returned with my daughter to give it a second try. BAD idea. We made an appointment and things were going well until it was time for our manicure. We were moved to the manicure seats and mine was started but the tech left my daughter sitting there and started a pedicure on a walk in customer. WHAT! the excuse was she didn't speak english and misunderstood that my daughter wanted a manicure. My daughter had a manicure color she showed the woman, the woman in charge should have seen what was happening, the appointment was for two mani pedis, and the place was almost empty. We decided to just leave! The woman was very apologetic after the fact, and gave me gift certificates for two free manicures, but charged full price for the pedicures. I won't be returning. There are plenty of Nail places around I would find another place if I were you! Getting your nails done should be a no stress, pleasant experience, this place is not. read more
