    Decor inside the Hotel

What a beautiful bar! Loved the ambiance immediately! The drinks were delicious and the bartender took such good care of us. I tried a mezcal cocktail smoked with sage...it was delicious...so delish I ordered 2! A beautiful gem inside the Hotel St. Francis. A must for a great evening!

It locates inside a hotel The place is charming and cozy I got the carrot and stick cocktail and it's one of the best cocktails I have drank recently. They also put lots of alcohol. It's worth every penny. We got 2 beers and they were super stale.

Best downtown bar. We were in Santa Fe for days and managed to come here on 3 different nights. The bartenders can mix anything--but I recommend the Vieux Carre, Brooklyn, and the Smoked sage margarita. Not in that order, mind you, but these 3 will knock you back. Great table service even when slammed. Historic vibe to the interior, a perfect setting for classic cocktails

Great cocktail bar in the St. Francis Hotel. Creative craft cocktails of have them make you a classic. Seating inside and outdoor. Dark and lots of wood and leather. Enjoy watching them make a smoked sage margarita. I had a lovely riff on a mezcal sour called "I stay up late (I can't sleep but I'm not sour about it)

To the left is I Stay Up Late . On the right is the Silence Glaive Surprise my partner got. Great drinks!

Cool bar in Santa Fe that is a bit pricey but really not that bad! Worth every penny. Service is great and the drinks are phenomenal! I got a mezcal-based drink that was smoky and smooth, and my partner got a gin-based drink that was sweet and tart. Been to this spot almost every time I go to Santa Fe!

Tasteful and comfortable all-friendly lounge. Very nice craft cocktails with unique flavors. The decor and furnishings are very Santa Fe. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Interesting bar in the Hotel St. Francis. Looking at the specialty cocktail menu, nothing really looked good, lots of wine mixed with hard liquor cocktails. We stuck with basic margaritas and loved them. Talk to the bartenders, get their recommendations!

Secreto Lounge is a must visit with classic drinks in a beautiful lounge that resembles the bars from the 20's. Relax and enjoy this romantic, beautiful bar in the heart of Santa Fe.

One of the best margaritas in Santa Fe. That's all. Order the house coin. Enjoy it in the lobby by the fire if it's going. Perfection.

Cramped and very loud. They constantly serve "Smokey" drinks. So it smells horrible with people coughing.

We got a bottle of red wine started and some margaritas along with a manhattan. Then afterwards couple of fish tacos and some carne asada arrived. We had great drinks and tasty food. Not because of the atmosphere. Not because of the location. Because of Katya. Katya is not my favorite bartender. She is my favorite human being. I've spent enough time in bars to know when someone is good at their job. Katya operates on an entirely different level. She can take what feels like sixteen orders at once, remember every single one, deliver them with absolute precision, keep the entire room moving, somehow do the math in her head, and still make every customer feel like they're the only person sitting at the bar. The basement bar itself is exactly what a great dive should be; a shithole. Heavy hobo stab vibes upon entry, including Katya. Smell: multiple buttholes farting at once. Climate control: sweaty patron dependent. Lighting: liability. TV: playing a rotation of trash 80s DVDs . If business schools were smart, they'd study her. If hospitality groups were smart, they'd clone her. If Santa Fe has any sense at all, they'll do whatever it takes to keep her exactly where she is. Cash only, so come prepared. And bring plenty of it, because she deserves every penny. Katya must be protected at all costs.

I have been coming here for thirty-five years, and it blows my mind that after more than three decades, it keeps reaching new heights while fiercely retaining everything that made it legendary in the first place: the unbeatable high quality, the remarkably affordable prices, and those effortlessly cool, historic vibes. It is a rare, beautiful gem that refuses to compromise its soul, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. This visit was extra special because my fiancé was a first-timer, and he was instantly converted, falling just as madly in love with the magic of this place as I did decades ago. On this particular afternoon, the lines were wrapped around the courtyard and the energy was absolutely electric. It was hella busy, which is a testament to how beloved this institution remains. Rather than waiting for a table, we decided to grab our food to go--a move that turned out to be pure perfection. We took our feast over to the historic plaza square, found a spot to sit, and ate under the shade of the trees while listening to live music drift through the air. With a beautiful, cool mountain breeze rustling through the plaza, it was the most quintessential, magical Santa Fe experience you could ever ask for. As for the food, it remains an absolute revelation. I ordered my enchiladas "Christmas" style, split right down the middle with both their famous, deeply savory red chile and their bright, perfectly spiced green chile. The first bite instantly reminded me why no one else can touch what they do here. The blue corn tortillas were tender, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the chiles carried that robust, earthy, authentic New Mexico heat that warms you from the inside out. It is a flawless execution of culinary tradition. To be able to deliver that level of world-class, scratch-made perfection at a price point that still feels incredibly generous is nothing short of a miracle. Whether you sit in their enchanting, labyrinthine dining rooms or pack it up for a picnic on the square, The Shed is the absolute pinnacle of the Santa Fe spirit.

This morning, a few minutes before their scheduling opening time, we walked by; the door was open and a manager was sitting on a chair. We ordered flights of white and none of them were cold enough. I understand if they had been reds, but on a hot summer day, one just craves a cold glass of wine and/or bubbly. Once we were done tasting our wines and the food arrived, we had to ask a couple of times/people to remove the large glasses and apparatus they rested in from our table since there wasn't room for everything. The hummus and pita with hot honey and feta was pretty good, and our son loved his pasta dish from the kids menu, but that was the extent of the magic here. The paninis the rest of our party ordered were again, just ok. When I went to the restroom I was appalled. There was some really gross stuff sticking to the wall next to the toilet; I couldn't tell if it was barf or poop, but it really turned me off. Good thing we were already on our way out. The atmosphere is kind of a New Orleans vibe with a high ceiling and covered terrace upstairs with plants that you can see from the downstairs area. That was nice. The day before when I was walking around the Plaza, they had a big carafe of fruit-infused ice water outside the restaurant with plastic cups for people to help themselves to, and it was super refreshing. That was the best thing about this place.
