Very cool vibe with great live jazz on a Saturday night. The place was packed and still staff did an excellent job of serving us. We had the guacamole and the fried chicken sandwich and both were great.

This place was so cute! A few coworkers and I went out for a light meal and drinks and this was the perfect spot. The ambiance is great. The decor is very much in tune with the local dynamics and there was even a man playing the guitar to set the scene. I saw that for big groups, there is a room with a fireplace that was on and it was perfect on a crisp autumn night. The server provided great drink recommendations and the food came out very quickly. We all ordered the tacos and they were tasty!

Fantastic service from the friendly bartender provided us with mashed-at-table guac that was out of this world, and a gourmet Caesar salad with cute little anchovies decorating the top. Our beautiful stone table was refreshing clean. The Dragon Room social hour from 4-6 pm provides drink and food specials daily. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here! The jazz trio were very good!

Sometimes you just want to relax with a great cocktail and a burger. This bar delivers. Sat at the bar, enjoyed learning about the special cocktails and the bartender recommendations were spot on. A must stop. It's a Solid bar.

Our friends recommended Dragon Room bar. The bar tender made us great drinks. Live music by a trio entertained us. Fun people and lots to look at inside.

Online consensus for The Pink Adobe is middling at best, and no one we encountered had any personal reviews ‒ "They changed owners, and they say it's not the same," was the one thing we did here consistently ‒ so we eliminated that longtime Santa Fe institution from our plans. But not wanting to miss out on its ambiance, we decided to visit its adjacent bar, The Dragon Room. That was a smart call. The Dragon Room is a small room, dimly lit, loaded with exotic art and artifacts, many of them dragon themed. Two large turquoise glass chandeliers hang from the ceiling, contrasting the beige and maroon tones that dominate the room. There is a selection of small plates, and they also serve the full Pink Adobe menu. The drinks are excellent: For tourists on the Santa Fe Margarita Trail, there is a special margarita called The Black Dragon made with Chambord, the French black raspberry liqueur. Friends had the margarita made with green chile (when in Santa Fe...), while I tried the Dragon's Paper, made with rye, Aperol, Nonino, and lavender ‒ excellent. Guacamole is made at the table, and their salsa had a unique flavor I couldn't figure out (epazote?) but really liked. Service was excellent, as well, up there with the best places we visited in Santa Fe. The Dragon Room was easily the most stylish and, dare I say, glamorous bar we visited in Santa Fe, and I wish we had made another visit. It's definitely at the top of my list of places to go on a return trip and a spot any visitor wanting a drink or two should hit up in The City Different.

A very cool and chill bar that opens up around 4pm. I tried a couple of their margaritas and while they were unique and refreshing I didn't find myself in love with them. With that said, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the female bartender was extremely friendly and nice.

Zucchini Fries are a must! OMG!

Cocktails were pretty mediocre and we were rushed out the door for a private party on a Saturday night.

What day/times are happy hour?

Used to be 4-7 but not sure if that has changed with new management?

I think they are closed for remodeling?

I think so! We drove by it on 3/24/2023 and not open. Hope it opens back up soon.

We had reservations across the alley at The Pink Adobe a little later, but I wanted something to nibble on.

The drinks here were solid. But the service started out terrible, so not sure I would return. I…read morewould more likely go to Tonic (reviewed separately) for cocktails. When I arrived, I originally wanted to visit the restaurant, which was closed for the week due to a family emergency. So I presented to the open seating bar. Was ignored a long time. Got up to go to the bar and someone else stole my table. Took a long time to be acknowledged by the bar tender and finally made an order. Took quite a while to get it. Things got better when a bar seat opened up and I moved to the bar. But keep in mind, a different bar tender pretty much took over and kept my drinks flowing. That first bar tender could not hang, demonstrating poor time management skills and appeared to be moving slowly. The second bar tender, I think his name is Hector, really turned things around for me. I visited Secreto (another hotel based outfit, in the Hotel St. Francis) because they are supposed to be a "cocktail experience," boasting "garden to glass" cocktails. Dark wood and southwestern palate for decor. I had: Smoked sage margarita: flagship drink, smoked washed premium margarita (super herbal) Ghost ranch reverie: Tequila with peach, apricot shrub, lemon, seltzer, smoked rosemary (light, not too sweet, an "homage to the passionate artists of the southwest) Madonna of the Mesa: tequila blanco, pomegranate, mouth herbs, lemon, rose water (soft and balanced) Secret garden: basil infused gin gimlet with lime and chomilre infused honey. "Botanical crispiness meets honeyed serenity." I liked the basil, but the honey wasn't my thing. But a good cocktail. Again, drinks were good. On a Thursday afternoon, it was initially crowded and the initial service was terrible. But Hector saved the day.

We thoroughly enjoyed spending an hour here prior to dinner…read more 'The cocktails were inventive (lots of smoke and infusions) and the surroundings were pleasant. Not because of the atmosphere. Not because of the location. Because of Katya. Katya is not my favorite bartender. She is my favorite human being. I've spent enough time in bars to know when someone is good at their job. Katya operates on an entirely different level. She can take what feels like sixteen orders at once, remember every single one, deliver them with absolute precision, keep the entire room moving, somehow do the math in her head, and still make every customer feel like they're the only person sitting at the bar. The basement bar itself is exactly what a great dive should be; a shithole. Heavy hobo stab vibes upon entry, including Katya. Smell: multiple buttholes farting at once. Climate control: sweaty patron dependent. Lighting: liability. TV: playing a rotation of trash 80s DVDs . If business schools were smart, they'd study her. If hospitality groups were smart, they'd clone her. If Santa Fe has any sense at all, they'll do whatever it takes to keep her exactly where she is. Cash only, so come prepared. And bring plenty of it, because she deserves every penny. Katya must be protected at all costs.

Kind of a grungy, punk, divey vibe. Not exactly my thing, but where that feels unique to me this is…read morethe kind of place to remind yourself it takes all kinds.
