We gave this place a try since we were too far and it was too late to venture to the other shops. Turning into the parking lot gave me bad, horror movie vibes. The location is the first turn-off, the small selection is the second, and the two guys intently watching us was the third. Picking up one bullet vibrator and doing a price comparison on Amazon, basically told me to get the hell out of that smelly, uncomfortable shop. The difference in price was $20. And why is lubricant so f@cking expensive?! Secrets in Pleasant Hill has better customer service and an atmosphere when compared to this location. read more

So let me tell you guys like how uncomfortable. I usually come to this location and I feel so comfortable but this time I went this guy with the beard made me feel so uncomfortable. When I walked in he immediately made me feel so weird then he asked for my id and held onto it for so long and then watched me my entire time there like I'm a very creepy way I couldn't even really shop I hurried and bought one little vibrator and quickly left like how gross. I've been to adult bookstores all throughout the bay area and most of them are well kept, with polite staff, and an attempt to create a discreet, if not a tad tawdry ambience. That is what the customer expects when he plunks down his 10 bucks to wander into the wanton for a while. While traveling through Fairfield I happened upon Secrets next to Travis Airforcebase so decided to venture in. I had been there before and had some great times what with the proximity to the air force base and the fresh meat that that entails. But alas on a Sunday evening it was quite dead and in the final 30 minutes of my "shift" there, the janitor completely took over the facility opening the back doors, which flooded the arcade with light as he loudly and quite obnoxiously cleaned all of the stalls. Now I understand the importance of clealiness, but this establishment should really work on a schedule that enables the janitor to do his duties without destroying the ambience that customers pay for. This guy was loudly grunting the whole time he was cleaning, was making bizarre noises in the bathroom and basically treating the place like there wasn't paying customers in attendance. Once he was finally done, I went to the front desk to explain my dissatisfaction and the fact that 30 minutes of the hour I paid for was completely disrupted and not what I had paid for. Taylor at the front desk was not sympathetic, rudely refused to offer any solace as to his inability to provide the paying guest with the dark arcade we've come to expect. This Secrets with their 1 hour time slots should get with the better business model perfected by awesome places like the El Cerrito Secrets which is always extremely busy. You pay the same amount but can stay for 4 to 5 hours and there isn't staff all up in your business, looking to tell you time is up, or loudly and creepily sanitizing the place . Places like Steamworks does the requisite cleaning in the least disturbing manner, you barely notice they are present. My request would be for the manager to refund me my money or provide a discounted admission in the future since they were unable to provide what I was paying for. And if this place would only think outside the box and takes it's cues from some far more successful busy adult establishments, with their adjacent military neighbor, they could be far more profitable. And better training the staff would be helpful as well. read more

This shop was a major TURN-OFF. SECRETS BOUTIQUE? Let me tell you their secrets. They're located in a really run down area that smells like cigarettes and urine. You would think there's some kind of relieve once you make it from the parking lot into the shop, but nope. A slightly different smell hits you, but one just as unpleasant. It was very musty. I was acknowledged right away by the employee in the front who greeted me and asked what I was looking for. The answer was apparent as I took a quick glimpse around the store to see that it was half empty. Nothing I guess. But we'll see? I don't know what's going on with the pictures uploaded onto their Yelp page, but it doesn't even look like the same store that I went in...They offer a very small selection and does not look to be well-stocked. I couldn't get used to the smell and got the hell out after a quick walkthrough. read more

Okay let me start off by saying.... Jakaar has the BEST Customer Service hands down!! In all honesty WE need more people like him, very welcoming, polite, knowledgeable, and very easy to talk too! I will say though I was a tad disappointed that I was shown a tester of their massage candle they had in the front that they didn't even have in stock :,( I was shown others however, that one didn't even compare to the first one. I believe it was Body by Boudoir in Forbidden Fruit. I had to know the name of this because it became my favorite first glance. I hope they restock this soon!!!! In my job I drive all over the bay area every day and in every little town, I find the filthiest craziest places to indulge during my lunch breaks. I recently found this store right next to the air force base, I thought, this is my lucky day, I'm gonna find a lot of hot guys in great shape trolling in the arcade.
