So, I took majorly took advantage of VS's annual sale and ordered some bras and a couple bikini…read moretops online, and when they arrived 3 out of the 4 were too small. I searched the website to try to exchange for the right size, and unless I missed something they only do returns. So instead of dealing with that I decided I'd jump in the car and drive the 10 mins to the store. When I walked in, they were moderately busy n about to close, but I explained to the two women behind the counter my issue, and how I always have trouble finding MY exact bra size, and the younger girl came from behind the register and promptly gently measured me, told me my size and offered me a dressing room to try on said new size. I was let into the dressing room and was still having a bit of trouble, so I stopped an employee who was walking to the drawing rooms to ask if this new bra size actually fit me, and AGAIN she promptly stopped what she was doing, put the products she was carrying gently down and came in and adjusted my straps and helped me out. Idk how your company pics who they hire but you guys picked a winning team for SURE. The girls were super nice and incredibly helpful, even tho I came in late and they were busy. I have never walked out of a bra store happier and more confident about knowing my actual size. A HUGE thank you ladies-you guys absolutely made my night. If I could rate more than 5 stars I ABSOLUTELY would! Thank you so much again ladies, y'all rock!! Instead of just laying out "here's how it works, here's what you get for this price," etc., he asked a lot about what I was looking for, what I hoped to get out of it, my motivations or inspirations, etc. That personal touch carried throughout the experience. He consistently made an effort to understand what I was looking for--from the planning process to the photo shoot to going through the photos afterward--to make sure that I got exactly what I was hoping for. The photos themselves are absolutely awesome. It's incredible the different looks and feels he creates in a relatively small studio. More importantly, he just has an incredible eye for what is going to look good and how to create looks, moods, etc. I felt super comfortable the whole time, and I think that shows in the final product. Everyone who has seen my pictures has been blown away. He's way more than just a photographer; he's a true artist. It's cozy and not at all like a typical store yet they have an array of bras and other garments for post mastectomy women. . The windows are not viewable so no one knows your business. It's quiet and by appointment only so no one is milling around. Their services are free. Plus there's ample parking in a lot right at the establishment. They allowed me to enter the fitting room with my friend. Again very comfortable and inviting room. Everyone was warm and accommodating. We were lucky to be serviced by the owner. While my friend was trying on bras I got to talk with her. She's been in the business for over 30 years , she's retirement age yet continues to do it because she loves helping people. Very upbeat and easy to gab with. She was very positive and as I stated so accommodating wanting to know life style as to exercise, social , etc. so as best to find the right type of bras and prosthesis. We were told about different prosthesis, types of bras including fabric, the most popular and appropriate sizes for my friend's body type. Measurements were taken, and as I stated ....reasons for different bras, etc, etc. many types , sizes and patience were all involved in finding the correct fit. This lady had the patience of a saint with a fun positive slant on the total experience which was almost an hour and one half. Also a little paperwork , not much, so insurance would pay for it all. I'd say is was a really good experience for my friend and for me too. My friend asked me to write a review because she's not in the best frame of mind right now and thought I'd do better with it. Personally for myself I hopefully will never need the service, yet it's good to know I'd at least be taken care of in a positive, relaxed setting with no stress and good advice.
