Everything about this facility needs improvement. My unit has been broken into twice. My rent went from $140 to $210 in 1 yrs time. It's ridiculous that it's called SecurCare when there's no security measures used to ensure our belongings are protected. No working cameras except one at front gate. No security patrolling at night. This place is a joke.It costs me 258 dollars a month for a 10x10 storage which is very expensive. My unit was broken into and they waited a week to let me know and I asked them why and they couldn't give me any answer.I then asked them to see the security camera's footage and the told me none of the camera's were working. Worst place ever! Only gave it one star so I could write this review. Our boat was broken into multiple times. Office personnel did not want to help or care. Even was told by young lady that she never would have told the co-owner of our boat about the recent numerous break-ins if she knew they would have me call them! Asked her why renters weren't notified of numerous break-ins and she stated "we can't call or email everyone in our storage facility. So how is it that I can receive electronic submissions to pay my bill or a notifications of rent increase, etc. As we were moving our boat out, a number of RV owners were looking at their recreational vehicles that had been broke into also. Don't use this place!!! All 3 of my dirt bikes were stolen out of my unit. They have no idea when it happened. When we arrived the door to our unit was still partially open!!! My unit was burglarized after being there 1 yrs and was not notified that the manager found my unit without a lock nor was I informed that my auto pay wasn't working after almost 1 yr of it working. I lost 90% of my units contents. Biggest problem is No reliable security cameras. The name implies your stuff is secure here(Secure Care Storage) I believe they have a duty to inform all renters here to upgrade their locks do not keep anything that is valuable ór move to a better more secúre storage company and really stress the importance of a better insurance coverage not the 2000 limit I lost about 3500 minimum. I later found out from the police that they average about 3 to 4 burglaries per week. Were we informed of that no absolutely not. Zero stars read more

We had our new rv there and when we went to check on it, all the rv's including ours had been broken into and stripped. Excluding the batteries and the cables where cut. So disappointed. The company never notified us regarding this issue. A number of rvs have been removed already. No one was in the office the entire day. It wasn't a holiday nor was it a weekend. Had used this facility for 7 years. They advertised no rats. We got lots of rats! After complaining about it we we able to use their trash bins to throw only boxes into and not the bed that was ruined by he rat infestation. And they were very rude when I told them we had cleaned out the unit for them to inspect. Very rude office staff. Told them to have a great day, no answer from either staff member. The units are clean, gets very dusty inside but the biggest downside at this place is that they keep hiking up the fees without any notice. Their response was that I was not under any contract and that's why the increase. In one year it went from $110/month to now over $200 over $100 increase in a year. Not a place I'd recommend. I tried contacting them and the cal center said I should be able to go to the office. The office is behind the gate and the driver (not me) pushed for someone to help us. The gate opened and we both thought it was the office opening it up but it was a tenet. We park and I get out to go talk with the manager but the door is locked. "Ok, now what? How do we get out?" I call and wait for about ten minutes to speak with someone but they can't help me since they have no way of contacting the site manager. I asked "how do I get out? Do I need to call the police?" He told me I might or just wait for someone to enter or leave. (Thankfully someone was leaving and the driver was able to hurry past the gate). Ok first of all the ownership has changed. My mom used to know the prior employees very well and has had this storage for a very long time. My mom was charged $35 dollars for a lock that the prior owners used to place on storage units that would not pay their units on time and as soon as she would pay her unit for the month along with late fees they would come and unlock it for her. I am assuming it was an added measure so she wouldn't take off with her unit without paying her late fees, which is understandable. However my mother hadn't been to her unit in about a year and the prior had placed a lock on her unit and since she never went back to her the lock was never taken off. I came back to take my mom's stuff so she can move with me to San Diego and went to ask the rude lady at the front about the lock,she was persistent that it was a personal lock and they would charge me $35 dollars to remove it. I personally knew that this was not my mom's lock but this lady rudely again explained how that was the only way. Honestly it's not about the money, it's about that lady with black hair didn't have a clue how to do her job and was rudely talking to me my mom and my brother. Customer service is definitely not her strong point. I really hope you are not the owner because that would be bad business. Please find somebody like the gentleman that helped us saw our lock off to be the face of this business. read more

We had our travel trailer stolen!! This place gives you a false sense of security as you are paying for the gate to be locked 24 hours a day. If we would have known the manager was leaving the gate fully open, for hours at a time allowing ANYONE to access this facility, we would have pulled our travel trailer out of storage immediately! We thought we were paying for the locked gate services believing my trailer was safe. If only I had known. Anyone can come onto premises hook up your trailer & away they go off with your belongings & trailer. I was paying for a false sense of Security as management leaves gate wide open! This is the second time I've taken time to post this but it NEVER appears on website. Why not? Are they protecting this company? I had stored my household belongings in this storage facility for 7 years. When I went to remove items, rats had nested in my mattress and boxes. When I complained, I was informed that I must have had food items in my unit which I did not. Then they said some neighbor must have food items and took no responsibility for the damage to my belongings. They said file a claim with my insurance. Good luck on that! It's a little like asking your insurance to replace your mattress because your dog tore it up. Had I known rats can move easily from one unit to the next, I would not have stored items like a mattress and I would have placed rat poison in my unit. My name is Rose Rhodes and I have had a storage unit G-14 at the Securecare Self Storage at 7428 Davidson Cir. Stockbridge Ga 30281 for over 3 years. I recently had problems with someone hacking into my bank accounts and in turn it sent back some of my payments to my storage unit when I filed disputes with my bank for the fraud on my accounts. I called them to explain what had happened and to see if I can just pay whatever was sent back and keep my unit I spoke with the property manager named Alexis and she refused to try and work anything out with me, was rude and very unhelpful telling me I must pay to vacate my unit. I told her ok and asked her how long I had to do this she told me 1 month i said I will be in at the end of March beginning of April to pay and get my things. I came in on 4/4/24 to make a payment of $1,275.00 to be able to get my things Alexis was not in this day ( I cant lie I was happy she was not because anytime I called there or tried to get a problem resolved she had been extremely rude and unhelpful) anyways I dealt with a pleasant woman named Diane who assured me that as long as I got my things from the unit by Monday 4/8/24 that everything should be fine I explained to her that work a lot and may have to come on Sunday when I was off and she assured me that was fine she even went as Aa far as to get me a temporary gate code to access the property on Sunday. (All of this on a recorded line mite I add) So on 4/6/.24 my mother and gentleman whom she hired with a truck went to the location to get the items from my unit G-14. She was rudely met by Alexis who told her that our things are no longer on the property and that my unit was cleaned out that morning because I only had 48 hours to get my things out and I didn't pay them $100 ( which I most certainly did and have a receipt to prove) my mother got very upset and was crying she called me to have me speak with Alexis who was once again rude and just mean she seemed to even be enjoying the fact that she had made my elderly mother cry because our family heirlooms were in the storage unit along with things we can not replace from my brother and son who had recently passed away. I explained to her that Diane had told me that I had until Monday morning to empty out my unit and had even given me a temporary gate code to come on Sunday and get my things, she basically told me I was lying and that I only had 48 hours and to bad my stuff was gone and she couldn't do anything she also made my elderly mother leave visibly upset about the situation. And forced her to leave the property. Which she did. I called the customer service number and told them about the situation and they did nothing they created a ticket #NBSD-86226 and told me that Alexis's boss would be calling me shortly. They never called. I need my things that I paid $1,275.00 to get period I am not going to lose my mothers important heirlooms and my things left by my son a deceased brother because Alexis is a horrible person. First off why would I have been given a temporary gate code to access the property afterhours if I was told I had to get my things within 48 hours (again calls are recorded so all of this is on record) also what happened to the $100 I supposedly did not pay but have a receipt for?? Also why was the unit cleaned out the morning of 4/6/24 if that was not even 48 hours later in the first place (even if I was told 48 hours which I was NOT) it would have been by 5 pm on 4/6/24 I should have gotten my things out by but my mother was there to empty the unit at 2pm on 4/6/24 and told that my things were no longer on the property and she cant get them even if I offered to pay the $100 which I already paid again. I also know that this storage location holds auctions to auction off the belongings in peoples units when they don't pay, they don't remove the belongings from the unit and ship the items from the facility as I was so rudely lied to about by Alexis on the phone when I was just trying to work something out so that my mother could get the items we had paid to get and be on our way. I am not going to let this go I want my things period. DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS STORAGE LOCATION!!! User's recommendation: DO NOT GO TO SECURECARE STORAGE ON DAVIDSON DR STOCKBRIDGE. read more

We have rented an RV space from Self Care Storage for many years at this location. Unfortunately, SecurCare Storage must have purchased this site and it has gone to crap. They claim to have 24 hour security, making you feel all warm and fuzzy about the place you're storing your belongings. Many times the gate is left, the fence has been cut and thieves are allowed to roam freely and not repaired until corporate notifies them its okay to fix, security cameras no longer are working, not authorized by corporate to turn them back on. I would NEVER recommend this storage facility. We recently had our motorhome broken into. We have a lot of outside damage as well as almost everything was stolen. It happened on the night of January 12, 2023. I didn't get a phone call regarding our coach until 4 pm the afternoon of the 13th. SecurCare is taking no responsibility They say that's why they want to make sure we have insurance before allowing the RV to be stored there. There were multiple breakins that night. They had to complete an incident report for every unit broken into. They will not provide me with the incident report nor the camera footage. The lady in the office was very rude and unaccommodating. She told me that I needed to contact corporate, who then is referring me back to the site manager. As stated above, those units broken into the night we were, doors were left open, allowing thieves to enter as they pleased. My husband closed a couple of doors, and was told by the office that they don't want anyone closing the doors. They also told me that they "are happy the RV's are leaving the facility". What the heck? I've tried to contact someone that might care about this facility, but am getting nowhere. What was I paying for, if my RV wasn't being secure? I'm contacting my lawyer. I hope others will follow suit. read more

1 star is the lowest score you can give them but deserve No star ! got a call from the ceres police department stating our travel trailer had been broken into for the second time , our Yamaha generators cooking and grill equipment were stollen even our extra clothes were stollen . the police department in ceres were very professional and Curtis i wish unsecure care were the same it seams like the owner of unsecure care don't care about security !!! when i signed on i was told 24 hr security , the security cameras don't seam to work and nobody is patrolling the property only the tweakers in broad day light . I was out on the weekend and tried to let front office know about suspicious individuals lurking around the property but nobody around !!! management don't seam to care only states you signed a contract that states we are not responsible for theft or damage to anything !!!! I have been renting here since 2015 and everything was great for years. About a year ago, it stopped being good because a woman named Joanna took over. She is very rude, and very bad at customer service. She will hang up on you and turn into a different person if you ask her to be nicer to you. Shes not nice to begin with and if you have an issue, she loves to hang up on you. Do not sign up here unless you want to immediately regret where your putting your money. There's plenty of storages around and i really am warning all of you about Joanna's bad and unprofessional attitude. I made my last payment in June and got all my stuff out the day after I made my payment. My only regret is that I gave Joanna a chance after her first rude encounter. Dont give these people your money or any chances as long as Joanna is in charge. Lisa used to be in charge and I loved her. I hate Joanna and she is a really awful person. read more

If I could give a fucking -1 I would. Beyond angry and disappointed with this place. I've been a loyal customer since 2017. My unit was broken into and not once did anybody try to contact me. I went this past Sunday and found that my lock was changed. I paid every month for 6 years loyally. I went this past Monday and asked why my lock was changed and the manager there explained to me those locks were put on when a unit had no lock. Ummm excuse when were you guys gonna let me know my unit needed a lock or had to have one put on there. For people that are on my ass when I'm a day late for payment where tf are you guys now with the answer as to why wasn't I contacted? Everything was stolen from my unit. How long ago ? Fuck if I know cause nobody bothered to contact me ? This is how you guys treat a loyal customer ? Horrible place. After just two months here we come to find rats in our unit. They put something inside the unit to kill the rats afterwards. Finally we decided to just get out while we could. Super unprofessionsl staff. We got different responses from everyone and the manager didn't even bother to show her face. I bought a storage here from Auction and I have to say I have not ever had such an awesome experience. The faculty was clean and easily accessible my favorite though was how amazingly helpful and happy and friendly the staff was at this location. The entire time the girls had huge smiles on there faces they appeared to really enjoy there job.
