I truly do only write honest reviews that truly do review the integrity of the service I am paying for. I would have to say that Secure Tech Automation has met my standard of integrity. What I look for when finding a company to install my security cameras is a company that does exceptional installation and has great technical support, and also strives to be in service to the customers with good customer services skills, no company is one hundred percent perfect, and we can't only review a company on the negatives but also the pros, but without the negatives it would not be an honest review. I knew what I was looking for regarding security cameras because we use 5mp Hikvision motorized lenses. Which are the same security cameras we use at all our apartment buildings and our office building and storage yard. So John was very accommodating to try and create an invoice for the cameras I wanted and his bid was very reasonable for what I was expecting. So John, Fidel, Vladimir, Mr. Lee, and Chad we all very polite and respected my home and treated it like it was their own place. They came and installed all the cameras in 2 days, but I was having 18 cameras installed, 2 being on a pole. They did an amazing job on the install and I was very pleased with how it looked after they were done with installing the cameras. With all security cameras issues will arise regarding technical work and with my cameras there was an issue with lines going through the video. John tried to have the issue resolved to the best of his ability and he tried to have Fidel come a few times. Fidel was scheduled to try again and resolve the issue and he scheduled with me to come on a Monday and fix the issue. So I took time off of work to be here to provide help need be. Fidel did not tell me he was not planning to show up instead just avoided me. I am very flexible and understanding but if Fidel just told me he couldn't show up or any excuse I would have understood, but Fidel was still very respectful and never once made me or my family feel uncomfortable or need to judge his integrity. My only suggestion is to next time just tell the customer you won't show up, most people don't bite. John then sent Chad. I would have to say Chad gets a 5 star, he was very respectful and he truly did care to see to it that the issue got resolved. He went above and beyond to resolve the issue with the license plate camera, and other cameras. I will definitely be requesting Chad again. Overall my experience with Secure Tech Automation was exceptional and I was very pleased with the outcome and I would definitely be using their service again. Customer Service is very important and all businesses need to strive to provide excellent customer service including Secure Tech Automation. This is the worst company you can do business with. John Kim offered free installation did a bad job installing the cameras on our tow trucks. Cameras fail next day of installation a year later still waiting for a phone call from them to come and fix them. Secure Tech automation doesn't stand behind their products. They never return our phone calls to fix camera issues. Save your self from headaches don't buy from these crooks. Obviously they don't want to fix their crappy cameras. 11/28/2017 at 11:47 After a year of trying to contact John through text, email and even driving from Santa Ana to Santa Fe Springs was a failure. After I put this yelp review he actually emailed me. I guess the yelp review hurted him more then the texts and email I sent him. After I submitted the yelp review he decided to send me an email (picture attached). I decided to drive to Santa Fe Springs to see if I can get a hold of John. I Wanted to drop of a memory card to show him that the cameras are not working properly. I also needed some footage from the camera. I wanted to see if he could retrieve it. To my surprise he wasn't there. I left the memory card with a lady that came out. He did check the memory card and send me a text saying that some cameras were only recording half of the screen and some weren't even working. Once again I asked him about the warrantee and he did not respond. He also send me an email saying that why I didn't contact him earlier about this problem. And that's a lie because I have proof of all the times I've been trying to contact him. He sends another email (Picture attached) telling me that he will mail me the memory card and once I receive it to fix the yelp review. Why would I fix the yelp review when all I've been wanting for a year is for him to fix the cameras. The last email he sent he said I'm bribing him. I have no idea what he's talking about. I told him once he fixes my cameras I can fix the review. I will not take away my review I will just update the review saying he fixed the problem. How is that bribing???? The part I don't understand is how does the warrantee get voided????? Kim how does this yelp review even bother you have you seen the rest of your reviews????? Long story short: The initial review would have been 5 stars and there is still a chance for redemption once the work is fully completed. We already paid for the services and cameras in full. Long story: The Good- John gave us a good price for 7 HD cameras. Two of the camera placements were not ideal and I missed the final PDF of the locations. His installers, Erick and Chad, offered better ideas for camera placements and this was finally finished about 1 month later. Fidel, the lead technician, was also very helpful is remedying the camera issues that came up. The Bad- The camera angles did not capture our baby and toddler's cribs and took a few visits from Fidel to fix this. He was able to correct the other techs mistakes including patching large holes and we wish he had been sent out in the first place. There are quite a few things that were not to our liking. The least of which is the indoor camera quality at night time. One camera had excellent vision and the others were very fuzzy and dark. Now all the indoor cameras are dark. This problem has still not been addressed. The Ugly- John was good as selling us the product but the service and communication has been less than satisfactory. He keeps reminding us that he gave us a great price ( $2300, not including tips we voluntarily gave to the installers). My wife and I don't think that the service should suffer because we got a 'great deal'. We just want the high definition cameras we paid for to actually work, especially at night time since they are security cameras. Addendum: John Kim is very impatient and accusatory once he has your money. Actually hung up on me during our correspondence. Response to John K: That is correct, sir, I verbally apologized that I missed the email attachment with the camera locations drawn out. And thank you for only charging us $100 dollars for relocating it. I really wish you had sent Fidel out for the initial job. He offered better ideas for great camera placement so that we have a peace of mind leaving our little girls at home with a babysitter while we are at work. He also did good work and did not leave gaping holes in our walls and unsightly wires outside our house. I sent you screen shots with the deterioration in camera quality because of the bad wire connections from your previous technicians( some thing Fidel noted, not us). We just want the job finished with the cameras working as we paid for. This is our house and I gain nothing by writing a bad review because we still have fuzzy night time vision on these cameras. read more

I had a very good experience with their service. First, John came in to roughly quote me, he came across very knowledgeable and he inspired me trust, which I can't say the same for all the contractors I hire, having various projects. His price was low from the get go and didn't start up high to then "give me a discount" :) Scheduling was delayed a little, but because I made a mistake on the details I gave John, but he was very patient and promptly got the right equipment and re-scheduled me. The technicians that were here came prepared and didn't need anything from me, they knew exactly what they were doing. Eric, one of the technicians followed up with me about a week later to make sure everything was working right with my installation which absolutely impressed me, as follow ups make all the difference in making you feel they care. I will definitively keep their contact for anything else up where their service is applicable. And I highly recommend their service. I got a their number from a friend and call SECURED TECH to upgrade my old security camera system since I experienced several vandalism at my restaurant. John came out the very next day to give us a very reasonable price and we scheduled an install date to get 8 cameras placed inside at outside. They did a great job. We had some complications as far as connecting to the server on the mobile app but their tech support was great and helped me to get around the issue I had right away. Also, we had few defective cameras with IR function not kicking on at night but when I contacted John, he sent out tech support right away to replace them and get the problem straightened out. Such a long overdue review. I have researched for months for a company to install security cameras at my business. I came across Secure Tech and decided to contact them based on their Yelp reviews. John did not waste anytime and returned my call right away. I explained to him what was required for my business, he provided a quote that same day. He even gave me a Yelp discount! Installation was done professionally, all the lines are not visible as he promised. Once completed, they set up a remote access through an app and I am able to access the cameras anytime. Fidel and another gentleman was present to complete the installation. They showed up on time. They did not dawdle at all. They were work-oriented.
