Quality is so-so and prices are high for what you're getting. Great deals: sushi and prepared foods are on sale after 7:30PM, so you can get dinner for a fraction of the price. And in summer, they bring lots of local produce which are super tasty. In winter, they have imported exotic fruits, and you can always try different types of fruits because they are sold by piece, not by case like other Asian stores. T&T is owned by Loblaws so they offer a freshness guarantee. I feel confident buying from this store, although I have to say, the store is very well maintained and all items I have bought have been fresh anyway.

Evidently after 8pm, they mark down lots of their prepared food items. From dim sum, to noodles, fried rice and other entrees, you can score plenty of items for $4-6 which were normally 2-3x that. I felt like a kid in a candy store and began snatching and hording all the things. I had to stop and remind myself we were on vacation, and would be living out of hotels for the next few days, so I limited myself to just a handful of items. We got some noodles, fried rice and dumplings, which we would end up eating for breakfast over the next few days. While nothing was mind blowing per se, the food was solid and certainly economical. I wasn't loud, rude, or difficult -- yet I was spoken to like I was a problem. This kind of behaviour from front-line staff is completely unacceptable, and I expected better from a store I've supported for years.
