Susan who gives the tours is spectacular. She took us to all of the places in Sedona in 2 to 3 hours and we found that she was filled with knowledge that goes way beyond what you would appreciated the beginning. You need to start asking questions of Susan and she will expose his entire life not only of Sedona but I have her own personal life. I found that the tour was so interesting that my wife and I went out and bought 2E bikes so that we could try and duplicate and adventure that I know we will never be able to without Susan. So that we will return and do more tours with her and then use our E bikes to try to supplement the amazing amount of knowledge that she has. If you don't sign up for a tour it will clearly be your loss and we are coming back to Sedona to do more tours with Susan. read more

I'm an experienced ebike rider and owner who has taken a number of tours both in the US and abroad. I wanted to share this wonderful experience with my girlfriend who hadn't ridden an ebike before. In talking to Susan a couple of nights before our ride, I explained the situation to make sure the ride was appropriate for a beginner. She was very nice and assured me it would work out fine and that we were the only two riders scheduled for that day. On the day of our ride Susan briefly explained the bike to my girlfriend and seemed anxious get started. I felt she was cutting short the time my girlfriend needed to feel comfortable and get familiar with her bike. I tried to explain some of the things I have learned over the years to make it easier, and safer. But I was cut off and was told it was too much information, and that she (Susan) would take care of the instruction. The familiarization part of our time was cut shorter than I had experienced with other tours and I didn't feel it was adequate before we took off on our tour. At our first stop Susan stopped where the ground was slightly sloped. My girlfriend fell pretty hard when she stopped, as she wasn't prepared, nor very experienced with dismounting, especially on a sloped surface. Susan didn't really react very quickly to help. Once bandaged up, I again tried to help show my girlfriend ways that might help make it easier and safer, as I saw her fall and Susan didn't. Again I was told, this time in a condescending manner, that she was the only one that should be telling my girlfriend how to safely ride. The trip was nice and the scenery beautiful. However, it seemed maybe Susan had just done this trip too many times and the joy was no longer there. Fortunately, I did manage during the trip to explain to my girlfriend about the gears on the bike, which she had no earlier explanation of, making some of the hills a little easier. As we arrived back at our starting location, my girlfriend was a little hesitant about coming up to where we were stopping, she again fell. Susan again didn't rush over to offer assistance, but stood off to the side until I got there to help. She doesn't seem to have very good reactions, or just doesn't seem to want to get involved. A first for me anywhere for a tour guide. She then scrutinized the bike to make sure it wasn't damaged, pretty much ignoring my girlfriend, then let me know I had used a lot of power on my bike. Despite feeling poorly taken care of we tried to tip her $20.00. However she didn't have change, so we ended up tipping $30.00. Looking back at our experience, tipping at all was probably sending the message we were happy with the service, which we weren't. It is not my intent to punish by giving a bad review. Rather to point out that more instruction on riding and a more supportive attitude could have made a safer and more enjoyable ride. read more

This was a fantastic bike ride. We went in August 2018 in the early morning and it was great! Susan is a wonderful tour guide and showed us many things you wouldn't see driving past in a car. She also has interesting old photos of the places you're looking at to compare with today or to see old movie sets used in the area. The ebikes are easy to operate (no throttle is used-- it's more like another shifter, so it's safer.). It is a great way to see Sedona before deciding how to spend the rest of your stay if you didn't make plans already. I have a normal bike at home and loved my first time on an e-bike. Also Susan provides a water bottle per bike and no additional water was needed on our early morning (7:30am) and 75° ride. This woman repeatedly says We received her email confirming a reservation n we emailed her back. This is not at all true. Im am enclosing her original email that she sent to us that we did not see until the day she contacted us wondering where we where. As I stated from the very first time I spoke to this woman we did not know she scheduled a tour for us because when I filled out the information requiring more information of her tours it asked for a contact number and someone would get back to us. NO ONE EVER DID. So how did we schedule a tour we knew nothing about. As u can see from the only email sent to us. She recommended a tour 430 to 630 n also scheduled it without our knowledge. So she is contradicting herself by saying we confirmed her confirmation because clearly at the top our reply is SORRY WE NEVER SAW THIS UNTIL THE DAY SHE FINALLY CONTACTED US. NEVER DID WE RESPOND TO HER EMAIL OR DID WE SEND A TEXT. We did not say WE COULD NOT MAKE IT. Clearly another lie. I told her I was sorry we did not know she scheduled a tour. She rudely hung up in my face . This woman charged our credit card company without our knowledge or authorization. Here is my proof of the only EMAIL we received. Wheres her proof for the emails n texts she keeps stating she received??? She cant provide them because there isnt any. How can you charge someone $220 dollars for a service you didnt provide n clearly they knew nothing about. Bad business ethics. Cancellation policy is for a reservation we did not schedule one. She did without our knowledge. JUST GOES TO SHOW THE TRUTH PREVAILS. This woman lied about receiving emails n texts from us confirming a reservation she made well the card company credited our account back the $220 she was unauthorized to take. DONT TRUST THIS WOMAN SHE LIED ABOUT EVERYTHING BUT I PROVED HER WRONG!!! read more

Access to the best views: with the bikes we were able to get to small quiet roads that regular tours can't get to. We got phenomenal views of all the Red Rocks from every direction! 3. Wonderful information: Susan is a fount of info about the rocks, area history, and current information about the best hikes and sights. After riding with Susan we did a phenomenal hike that we would never have found without her guidance. 4. Last, but not least, it is FUN! One thing I noticed is that we had lots of smiles and joy, while folks coming out of tour vans or in cars circling crowded parking lots were grim and stressed. We did the E-bike tour with Susan and it was a fabulous experience. The E-Bikes create equality instantly with the riders. We had one bicyclist who rides 100+ miles a week, a very fit 21 year old, and one not so in shape rider - and we all had a GREAT time. You never have to break a sweat. You can use the battery as much or little as you like. The Turbo button is the best! High quality bikes and very quiet. Susan is a fabulous guide and provided many interesting details we would have never known without her. We zipped up the road to the Chapel of the Holy Cross, past at least 100 cars waiting for parking spaces. The perfect way to see the Chapel and the views. It was great seeing the mountains from all different angles and enjoying the wonderful outdoors. We went over 20+ miles in the 3 hours. Next time in Sedona, it will be our first activity. read more

I was part of a girls' getaway trip to Sedona, in our 60's. Out of our group, one friend and I were ready for for a ride. I am a fairly experienced rider while my friend had no prior E-Bike experience. We both had a blast! Susan, the company owner, is a fantastic guide; knowledgeable about the geology, history, and all Sedona trivia, and explains everything in an email interesting and straightforward way. Even though I have been to Sedona several times, I learned lots of new information and she did not rush us through the tour, answering all our questions. The bicycles and helmets are in excellent condition and the fat tires are forgiving over any terrain. After the ride, even though the weather was hot, I felt exhilarated- not tired. This is a GREAT way to get up close and personal with the Sedona sights. I was a little nervous about riding an E-Bike (I'm a 67 year old, sometimes biker), but found it to be easy to control and an excellent way to glide up the hills, while still doing minimal peddling. We really enjoyed our special bike tour with Susan, she is the best tour guide for sure! It's totally worth every penny! She took us at sunset along the beautiful scenic roads in Oak Creek Village, past Bell Rock, even up towards the Chapel of the Holy Cross. We learned a lot and really enjoyed the breathtaking scenery as we glided along the mains roads and residential area. The bikes are super easy to use (trust me, I'm kind of out of shape, but the gas part makes it easy to rest your legs at times). In total it was a 15 mile, 2 hour ride, but a special memory my Mom and I won't ever forget! (Even more fun than the Segway tour, but don't tell Bear :-) *Friendly tip* bring as little as possible, possibly a small hip pack with essentials. The less you have the better and more enjoyable your experience. Oh and be sure to arrive on time to ensure you have plenty of time for the important introductory information. read more

Alert!!!!!! Please read your registration form before getting to excited-about filling it out! My husband and I showed up to day for the bike ride and didn't realize that there is a weight and height restriction to be able to go on the ride!!! You are not allowed to be more then 250l lbs and or 5ft 1 inch tall.. We were told by Susan "what would she do if the bike got broken"? I would hope they are insured? What would she do if you wiped out and broke the bike? At any rate this is just a Hugh warning please, please read all the print on the form!! My husband and I decided to try E Bikes (last minute) on our visit to Sedona. We did a private 2 hour sunrise tour. It was late July but our guide recommended we leave early and the weather was perfect. The bikes wee comfortable and easy to ride. In fact, we can't wait to take our 13 year old. We both ride at home in Florida but the hills and altitude would have killed us on mountain bikes in Sedona. We have been to Sedona several times but Susan taught us things we had not learned before. She kept the tour going without once looking at her watch. We highly recommend this as a fun new way to experience the beauty of Sedona! read more
