If you've never tried an e-bike, you really should as they are quite fun. Sedona has a bunch of hills so if you like going downhill, this is the place for you. The owner was very chill and told us he would not be strict if we were a little late coming back. He was helpful, showed us a bunch of places we could visit, and helped adjust our bikes and helmets. They also sell coffee here too. One of the closest things here were the bell rock and cathedral rock hikes. Unfortunately, you can't use your bike on the cathedral rock trail (it's because the hike is so steep that you're almost climbing the mountain at certain points). I liked the service, the bikes were fantastic. I used 48% of the battery.

A Great Ride & Great Vibe at Sedona Bike and Bean!…read more We had such a great experience renting e-bikes from Sedona Bike and Bean! The bikes were lightweight and sleek--you almost wouldn't even know they were electric until you start climbing hills and feel that awesome boost. One of my favorite features was the seat lift you could control with your thumb--super handy for adjusting on the fly, especially when powering up those inclines. We biked all around the southern Sedona area and loved the freedom it gave us to explore without worrying about parking. While others were circling crowded lots near Cathedral Rock and the Chapel of the Holy Cross, we cruised right in on our bikes and got to enjoy those iconic spots stress-free. After five hours of riding and exploring, we returned to the shop, and I treated myself to a delicious Iced Americano. I also picked up a fun pair of locally crafted bike-chain earrings--such a cool souvenir! The staff at Bike and Bean were terrific from start to finish. They helped us plan out the best routes, made sure we were comfortable with the equipment, and genuinely seemed excited to help us have a good time. My only (small) complaint: at 5'2", I was on the edge of being tall enough for their bike models and felt a little off-balance in a couple of moments. Thankfully, no spills--but a slightly smaller option would've made the ride perfect. All in all, this place is a gem. If you're visiting Sedona and want a fun, flexible way to explore--skip the car and grab a bike from Bike and Bean. Highly recommended!

Great trails here! Mixed use for runners, hikers and mountain bikers…read more $5 or America the Beautiful Pass to park at this trailhead. Limited parking but we arrived early and got one of the last spots. Environmental toilets. Large trash bin near the toilets. Trails were well marked and maintained but some of the maps were a little confusing. We did a sort of loop that mostly consisted of Cockscomb Trail with a little bit of Aerie and finished with brief section walking along the highway to get to our car faster and avoid an advanced trail. Great views of the red rocks, some cool cacti, birds and deer, and not very crowded. Also, everyone we encountered here was so polite and followed standard trail etiquette. The bikers here were great with informing us of how many were in their group. Hardly any litter which was great to see. People seem very respectful here. This trail could be rough in the summer because there is a lot of sun exposure but was perfect in January. Really glad we drove a bit farther out from VOC to do this trail.
