thank you for respecting my decision. I just want to clarify a few things regarding my experience. I did follow the pre-care instructions and was very careful during the healing process. I washed my face but made sure not to wet my eyebrows as instructed. I understand that I was provided aftercare instructions by email and paper instructions would've been helpful as well and I wasn't aware that by the third day my eyebrows could be wet, I was under the impression that you have to wait for your eyebrows to be completely healed. Meaning wait for the scabs to fall off. That's why I was careful not to wet them. However, I don't feel that this explains or justifies the final outcome of my eyebrows. I did have an allergic reaction during the healing process, but now that my eyebrows are completely healed, there are still no visible hair-like strokes from the nano brows. My eyebrows honestly look as though nothing was done, which is very disappointing considering the price I paid. I also understand that one side of my face may have been more relaxed than the other, but I still feel that shouldn't have resulted in such a noticeably uneven arch. I did my research beforehand because I was told I would be in good hands, and I trusted that I would receive a natural, hair-like result. Looking back, I probably should have researched other artists more carefully, even if it meant paying more, because I may have had a different outcome. Unfortunately, I feel that the money I spent did not result in what I was promised or expected. I'm not saying this to be disrespectful or to argue. I watched on social media the type of work that was done here for years before finally making my appt. It was worth every penny, I was very careful in my choice of where I went for permanent brows because the face is a serious thing. As a client, my experience at Seduire was lovely! Background: This is my first cosmetic procedure of like any kind, so I had a lot of trepidation, but as someone with patchy sparse brows but oily skin, I really wanted to try out nano brows. A friend of mine had gotten microblading here years back and hers looked so good, I took the plunge - even with the 4 hour drive round trip from San Diego (almost no one does nano brows in SD). Disclosure: I did get a discount in exchange for agreeing to try out a new experimental machine. So I had been thinking about doing lip blush for a long time now. Finding someone who was really good was first. Second , the courage to finally do it. Mind you I've had fillers, Botox, eyebrow microblading, and tattoos. Yet I was scared of what the pain would be like, how the healing /scabbing would be and whether or not I'd like the outcome. So finally this month on 3/3/22 I had my first appointment with Jenny. And my only regret is not doing the lip blush earlier. Now let's get into details of my 1st appointment. Jenny is the ultimate artist . She assessed my lips, she asked questions she wanted to know what my goals were . She really takes the time to explain the process and achieves what you ask of . So the reason why I was seeking lip blush was to have a more pigment to my lips. I felt like over time and especially with fillers , our skin stretches and because of that my lips looked pale. Especially in pictures I would like I had no lips. I was getting tired of spending time and money on lipliners and lip products and nothing would last . So after Jenny assessed and understood my concerns and goals , we got the party started. She started the mapping process and really took her time. This step is crucial because you want the shape and outline to be perfect and as symmetric as possible individually . After I approved the shape, Jenny discussed color and pigment . My goal was to have the same pigment I have but amplified. Even with no makeup on, I wanted to have a color close to my natural color, so I wouldn't have to wear lip products everyday . Jenny showed me pictures and we agreed on the color . She then started the process. During the shading she was doing, I really didnt feel any pain. Compared to micro blading, tattoos, Botox or fillers, this was a piece of cake. Only thing that was the hardest for me was the lengthy process but patience is key my friends. During the shading process, Jenny put a cotton pad in my mouth and I know in the pictures and videos it looks awfully uncomfortable, I have to be honest it didn't bother me at all. If you have a hard time with X-rays at dentist like I do, dong worry, this is nothing like that. I didn't even really feel the cotton pad in my mouth . I can't remember the exact time Jenny was doing the procedure , but I wanna say 1-2 hrs. Kinda like getting lash extensions, hardest part is laying down on back for some time. Ofcourse you can take a break, go use restroom etc. I do wanna say as a nurse I pay close attention to sanitation and sterilization and this facility and the tools they use are nurse approved. Jenny is not only an artist, but she is so professional, detailed and very talented. She has a great eye and after my results I can not wait to go back to her for my touch up next month. Ok so after she was done, it was the reveal. The shape she did, omg. I have been getting fillers for a few years now and my lips have never been as symmetrical as Jenny had done. The color and swelling is intense the first day. I loved the shape, I loved the color but I do wanna warn you it does look much much much darker right after and for 24 hrs for me. The swelling was comparable to having lip fillers the first day. Obviously after having a micro needle on the lips, they are gonna swell. Just trust the process. Day 1 and day 2 were the only days I felt my lips were darker and swollen. Day 3 they already looked amazing. I have pictures to prove. I had minimal shedding, I had no mouth sores. I was using aquaphor daily, I wasn't putting anything on my lips , I was patting dry after brushing teeth and not getting them wet. I followed the aftercare instructions Jenny had gone over with me and emailed me as well, and by day 3 I felt completely normal. I even hosted a small event on day 3 and no one noticed a thing. But I did. When I looked at pictures from that day , I was like "yes you can see my lips!". They hadn't disappeared in paleness like before. Ofcourse people who you don't see daily might not notice until you tell them, but you can tell and that's the most important. I haven't touched a lipliner or any 30000 lip products I have . Everyday my lips look smooth, with a natural color that doesn't fade in person or in pictures and I feel more confident. If you don't have lip fillers and you don't want to, try the lip blush. It can amplify not only the color and smooth texture of your lips but also enhance and modify the shape if that's what you want. Without them being overdone or "big" but symmetrical, smooth, pigmented and if you want a tad bit bigger, that's possible too. Okay... I couldn't live with myself on not giving an updated review and I take what I said back about coming back here. No I did not go back and I don't think I ever will again so disregard my previous post about the possibly of going back. After my eyebrows were in my opinion... butchered. I had to go through 4 painful laser treatments and I still have more to go through. I stayed super positive about everything but my eyebrows still aren't the same and the ink is actually pretty stubborn to get out. The amount of ugliness I felt was intense through these couple months. I tried to smooth it over and be nice and gentle with the Yelp review but I guess it wasn't how I really felt. Had a couple individuals reach out to me saying how unhappy they were too so idk maybe I'm obligated to share my opinion again in a couple months to show progress. Photos are included this time so you can see what I'm talking about. Apparently the same artist who did mine also "butchered" someone else's. I don't want to show my entire face so y'all only get small cropped photos but lol if only you saw my entire face with those brows, I look butt ugly. Like I said in my previous review, please do go over with your artist what YOU like and not what their stencil is because everyone's eyebrows are different. I know some people love them but there are some who don't. Weigh out your options and talk to your artist! The artists have lots and will mostly work with you. My oh my, still can't believe I finally stepped foot into Seduire to learn lip blush. Its been my ultimate goal to take a course for the last 3 years after following them for so long. The salon is absolutely gorgeous, clean and aesthetically pleasing to learn and work in. The lip blush course itself was super in depth, detailed and you can tell the manual was put together with so much time and effort. By far the most amazing PMU course I've taken in person. Its crazy how small and intimate this class was since I was so used to large 20+ people classes. This really ensures that all students had 1:1 time and was able to implement all the tips and tricks into the model practice. Krystal sat down really close to fine-tune my skills and really made me comfortable as I usually get very nervous when working on models learning a new service. Krystal really knows what she's doing and she even talks deep into showing you colour theory and how colours work by breaking it down with a demonstration. Lisa, her business partner is the sweetest going over how to take the most stunning photos and videos in the best angles. She is also very attentive in the back end of things. Both her and Krystal are so genuine and I really love that about them. You can truly see how they are as people and its so good to see that in mentors & people you look up to. Btw, Katelyn was super easy going and you can see their personal relationships as a team. So awesome to see in person that a model could become a student and then an apprentice/assistant! Can't wait to come back to learn nano brows! Would take all the courses and go in depth with an apprenticeship if I need further skill tuning. I got my brows and lips done by Krystle and her team in summer 2023 and I loved my results. I was picky and verbal about the adjustments I wanted to make and rather than be annoyed, Krystle told her students that I was a good client because I knew exactly what I wanted. When I came back to get my lips touched up because, unlike her typical clients, I did not like the natural look and wanted more pigment, I was still picky. Jocelyn was extremely patient with me as I reviewed all of the color options she gave me. However, none of them quite fit what I wanted and her team let me choose my own color combination as long as I signed a waiver. Please keep in mind that I used to be a visual artist and have a strong understanding of color theory. When my lips healed, they were exactly the right shade I desired. Fast forward to today. I messaged Krystle and her team about getting my annual touch up for my brows and lips. They asked me for photos and did something I did not expect: They told my my pigment was still good and to reach out again in 12 months to reassess for fading. Why am I blown away by this? Because it exhibits ethical practice at its highest form. They could have easily had me come in for unnecessary work and make money off that, but instead, they gave me their honest feedback. For that Krystle and her team have my utmost respect and deepest trust and I will NEVER go anywhere else for my semi-permanent makeup. Krystal did my brows a few years back and I loved my results! I have pretty thick natural brows to begin with and she kept asking me, are you sure you want your brows microbladed?? She was very honest and upfront with me. She was also so sweet and accommodating while being very professional and thorough. I still moved forward with having them done anyways because I struggled so much with doing my brows everyday and getting the shape right since my brows were so different from each other and were lopsided from plucking. The healing process took about 7 days and it was scary how dark they looked while healing. After I got my follow up touch I was so pleased with the results. Student Review: I took the Microblading Foundation course with Krystal last July. I have been an avid follower of her, her team and salon. I knew that I would be in the best hands starting my education within the PMU industry. Prior to the program I was already informed and instructed about their protocols and sanitation. From medical grade air purifiers to antiseptic products - my comfort level was at 100%! Krystal was very detailed with the check-in process and what to anticipate during her classes. On the first day of the program, we checked in via-text message (it is the salon's phone number). I received an OK confirmation to come in and the moment you reach the front entrance we are sprayed down with alcohol along with our shoes. An artist placed clean booties over our shoes and handed us our cute pink scrubs. I was instructed to dress into the new uniforms and do proper hand washing. As a student we were given our own cubicle to store our belongings & clothes. The Microblading foundation course was such a great experience. I loved how Krystal's teaching methods catered to everyone's learning style. From visuals with our booklets & videos, listening in on her lectures, being hands on with proper handling and practicing our technique and most importantly having fun the other students and applying our new skills by practicing with each other. We also learned the business aspect of the PMU industry with Lisa. We were given detailed information on how to start your new business - from creating a platform for ourselves as an artist and creating content. We were all provided materials during this program along with a live model on our last day. I could not express enough how nervous I was to work on my first model! I was given some reassurance that this was not going to be a "one on one," thing. Krystal made sure to guide us every step of the way. The best part about it was we were partnered up with another student and worked as a team. Overall, Seduire went above and beyond my expectations and I'm so happy to have had this learning experience with them. Seduire Academy Course was absolutely amazing! I attended the lip blush + model (in 11/22) & nano + model (12/22) courses and this was my first PMU training and pleased to have chosen Seduire Academy. A little about me and what drew me to Seduire instead of other courses near me. I previously worked in the medical field and as we had a pandemic I quickly realized that I needed a new career path. I became a certified makeup artist. I then realized that I would also like to learn more about PMU where my main focus would be lips and brows. My makeup instructor came across Seduire Academy through social media and shared the info with me. Once I looked up Seduire and curriculum I then knew I needed to sign up. I packed up the family last minute and we had our first wonderful road trip to LA, Cali from BG, WA. From the moment I walked in the door I knew I was in the right place. To begin, the studio is super clean and aesthetic. The floors are white and you sanitize first thing at the front door followed by shoe covers and of course a friendly welcoming by Gorgeous Lisa! Lisa is the first face I met as she welcomed me in and smoothly got me checked in and ready for class. I love the flow of the studio, it is so organized and beautifully put together.. After checking in, I received my cute uniform and then got to meet the rest of my classmates who were super friendly(: After getting settled in and ready to start Stunning Krystal introduced herself(instructor) and she shared with us her life experiences in becoming the knowledgeable PMU Artist she is today. Krystal also had us briefly introduce ourselves, which was so nice to learn of the different backgrounds my classmates came from and why they chose this path. I love that Krystal is attentive, gives constructive feedback, meticulous attention to detail (important for pmu, mapping, bbp). Krystal really takes the time to work with you to ensure you understand and learn what you struggle with. Krystal and Lisa will answer any questions/ help with any concerns you have even after completion of the courses. I learned what I'd hoped to learn and then some. This course exceeded my expectations! I was thoroughly taught a variety of information, from sanitation, to application, and even how to ideally position my body while working on clients. I appreciated Krystals attention to detail, clear visuals, and willingness to answer our questions, as she instructed. The course is beginner friendly, even for those with no prior beauty, aesthetics, or medical experience. Overall, thankful for Seduire (Krystal & Lisa) Academy and courses this was TOP NOTCH! Booked an appointment with Krystal, easy and seamless process, just leave a deposit and you set it and forget it until the time is here. I told Krystal the kind of shape i wanted and she went over what guys' brows shapes looked like. We agreed on it and she proceeded to work on my brows. First off, I would like to say, this was my first thing I ever did to my face and I have no regrets. I first decided to do this because my lips got sun burnt and they never went back to its normal color. I did a lot of research and I saw Sediure on my friends Instagram. I love their technique and the way they operate. Safety first: they make sure all clients get covid tested before their appointment. Great way to keep all clients and employees safe, big kudos :) when you first walk in they sanitize your shoes with a spray and give you shoe covers. Cleanliness! Above then each room is sectioned off with clear sliding doors! Triple hit! Amazing! My nosey butt likes to see the other work the other artist are doing the artist wear mask and clear face shields. Ambiance: the decor is super minimalist but so ascetically pleasing. Every this is well placed. All artist wear the same color and each station is placed in uniformity. Each station has a head rest and foot rest. You're gonna be there for a bit, so get comfy. Artist: this was my favorite part. I got an amazing artist Jenny! She is super sweet and her work is amazing. She made me feel super comfortable. Her technique is very gentle and it barely hurt. She was also very thorough and made sure I loved the color I chose. She also was so easy to talk to. Not only are you getting great service but building a trust. I love the results and I get compliments everywhere I go! My experience began with Lisa who very promptly and patiently and with zero pushiness answered all my questions before I ultimately decided on their nanoshading course. I am an extremely slow learner and usually would prefer 1:1 training but it truly felt like it was a private course due to how much individual support and guidance we got daily. I'm so grateful I didn't try to find an instructor that offered private trainings because I absolutely loved my classmates and there was so much love and support not just from Krystal and Lisa but from my classmates and from Seduire's PMU artists who would pop into class from time to time during drill practice. By the end of the course, I felt equipped and confident, knowing I had been trained by the best in the field to actually begin working on a model by day 4. On model day, Lisa taught us invaluable tips and tricks to elevate our content creation skills, transforming my camera roll into a professional portfolio. Her guidance extended beyond aesthetics as she meticulously walked us through the client intake process, emphasizing the importance of thorough documentation and seamless client communication. Krystal's dedication to seeing her guidance through was evident as she personally mentored us through each model session, ensuring every step of the appointment was executed flawlessly. Her patient demeanor allowed us to practice and refine the skills she had imparted without feeling rushed or pressured. A special acknowledgment goes to Jocelyn, one of Seduire's PMU artists, whose presence added immense value as she helped with model day. Jocelyn's sweet disposition and constructive feedback added to the supportive learning environment. For example, when we were mapping, one of our lines were slightly crooked and she told us super nicely that the line was a little crooked but the other line looked amazing. She also kept all of us safe by reminding us of OSHA guidelines. I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to learn from Krystal and Lisa. If you're thinking about taking courses from Seduire, I highly recommend it! I've previously taken another permanent makeup course and definitely wasted me money on that. This time I did a lot of research decided to make the trip to SoCal for the course! 100% got my money's worth. First thing I noticed was how clean and organized the facility was. Definitely blew my mind on their COVID-19 precautions. We were checked in one at a time and all took covid tests prior to taking the course. They provided us with a kit and a book for the course! The overall curriculum was very informative and Krystal explained everything so clearly. I'm so glad I took this course over other courses. Below I've included a picture of my model on the last day! I have been researching where to get my eyebrows done for the longest time and was referred to Seduire Salon by a coworker. I'll start off by saying the staff and cleanliness of this place is immaculate. The artists even show you the tools they are using that are unopened and clean. They tell you step by step what they are going to do next so you feel very comfortably and know what to expect. For over 15 years I have been using pencil to shade in and shape my eyebrows. I finally got my eyebrows nanoshaded by Jenny, who is absolutely the sweetest ever! She was very patient with me and asked me all sorts of questions regarding my eyebrows to make it look exactly how I wanted. What I also loved was I felt like it wasn't just a service, she really wanted to get to know me on a personal level which made me feel more relaxed. The only issue I had (not the salons fault of course) was that I had a huge migraine before coming into the salon due to caffeine withdrawals. I am a night shift nurse who depends on coffee 24/7 so not having it 72 hours before really affected how I felt that day but I was trying to manage through the pain the whole time. Jenny and the staff were so nice, she kept asking if I was ok and also gave me breaks in between to drink water which I'm so thankful for. Only recommendation I have for those who get bad headaches is to take a Tylenol before you go in! I regret not doing so before. Also Lisa was very sweet too I had such a bad migraine attack that it caused me to throw up (again not related to the session itself). Again, staff was so so sweet and caring! I can't wait to come back to get my second session done, I absolutely LOVE my eyebrows!! Thank you Jenny and staff you guys are amazing so glad I found this place!
