Before I start this review , Ultimately I did buy two boxes of the nuts and chews ($70 later) witcher, pretty amazing tasting.That's why I keep coming back, but I don't have to like it, which makes me a glutton.For punishment I guess,but these are for my doctor and my pharmacist for taking care of me in 2025. I always like coming to See's candies during the holidays.Not so much during the regular year, or else I'm going to have to change my lifestyle. If I want chocolate from See's candies i need to budget for it ,price checking The nuts and chews. (MY FAVORITES)1 pound box is $33. 2 pound box is $63. The Maple brittle is $22. The fancy gold boxes are $70 for the 2 pound and $40 for the one pound box, the soft centers are one pound for $33 and two pounds.$63 . To each his own / her own. As much as I like this place, I don't see that I need chocolate this much that I would pay these prices after going to Switzerland and getting "real" chocolate for about the same price. The quality level is still really different. And I don't think it's worth it. But the samples I had today,were good. Honestly, I don't know if they're $35 with tax for a pound.. good. read more

I was here in late September and the line was relatively short for a visit to See's. I came for chocolate peanut butter patties and Bordeaux's. The associate behind the counter was friendly and enjoying her work by the smile that lit up her face. She went the extra mile and offered a sample of my own choosing. I chose my favorite, a dark chocolate chip truffle. It did not disappoint. What a great experience!! read more

This was a fun place to walk to with my daughter after eating breakfast at nearby Black Bear Diner. They seemed to have everything they do in the store in the mall. And yes, samples! I have never been in a See's Candy that wasn't clean and organized and this one is no exception. They greet you when you walk in, even if it's busy. Everything is stocked and looks so inviting. I usually only visit around the holidays. I need to change that, nothing wrong with treating yourself to a truffle here and there. A couple years ago I ordered the biggest box they have to take to the fire station. Unfortunately, plans changed and we didn't go, so that gigantic box stayed at my house. Of course we ate it down to the very last one. They were all delicious, my favorites are not included in the gift packs. Key Lime and Blueberry truffles are my weakness. Who doesn't love a good, decadent chocolate!? Sees has tons of delicious options in both pre-packaged, and pick-your-piece boxes (by weight). I really like Sees chocolates and appreciate when I'm gifted some because they're not the cheapest chocolates lol. This location is always busy, but there's also always someone available to help! They even come around the counter to give you a sample! Of course I'd love one, thank you! ;) They even recommend which chocolates they favor and which pre-packaged offerings are a better deal! They are always stocking chocolates and lollipops and have never been out once, every time I've been. They have some great gift packages available during any holiday and are usually pretty well priced. I like the chocolates and will be coming back for most holidays to buy gifts for friends and family! :) They don't have the best parking situation but you can usually find parking nearby. read more

I go there when I need cheering up and I go there when I'm celebrating a special occasion like my last chemotherapy session. Christina and Carla know me so well and are always so helpful and seem to know exactly what I need. I feel like I have tried every type of "fancy" chocolate there is but have never found anything that tops See's for quality, freshness and innovation. The ladies are always so knowledgeable about new arrivals and if I'm not sure they are quick to offer me a sample. The store is a small one and the building is older. Parking was crazy! But, there is the nicest woman working here, with the best smile, humor and winning attitude. It was 110 degrees outside and the air conditioning certainly made the shopping easier. My purchase was on the smaller side but I still felt like the most prized customer. Thank you for the free sample that See's is known for and allowing me to take it to go! I recommend any of the chocolate bars (milk choc./ milk choc. with toffee pieces are my fave) as well as the key lime truffles! No white chocolate bars for some reason. read more

I went here ummm the week before Christmas if i remember correctly ya know it's all kind of a blur LOL...I was looking for some treats for my middle sons instructional aids and program manager at his school because i know he can be a handful and it takes sooo much patience with autism..Anyway it was busy as expected they did have i believe at least 6 staff helping but wow did people complain and whine i was thinking to myself while listening to the annoying whining,,, people it's a few days before Christmas a line is expected!!! Also people like me never go in actually "knowing" what they want and actually need study all the yummy stuff...The staff were extremely patient and polite even to the rude grumpy ones. when it came to me i put all the treats down on the counter i had collected along the way and just ignored those people and made some calculated decisions hahaha....Get those scotch kisses!!! completely unassuming but Omg soooo damn yummy...and these i think they are called apricot delights the perfect mix of tart and sweet mmmmm!!! A must is also those molasses chips...i bought so much that day it was hard to decide what to give and what to keep Lol. I won't drop any stars for how busy it was or how long i waited because come on it's the holidays and that is to be expected, The candy is always consistent period! I must say a nice lady helped me today, (Sandra) but I'm mad at what Sees candy stores is doing to their workers and not protecting them better in this horrible situation we are in. They should at least have latex gloves first off for their safety first and to protect others. I'm really not happy at all with Sees. The workers are older and this virus effects them more. That's BS! Sees you should be ashamed. Money over health and well being of your employees. Service was great but I'm not happy with this. So one star! read more

My wife has an upcoming trip planned so we went in here after Christmas to buy treats to take. We picked out like eight pounds of dark and regular chocolates for the trip. It never occurred to me that we would spend over $170 on candy at one time, but we did. The happiness in my wife's face let me know it is money well spent. And her relatives and friends in China will enjoy very good treats. I would have added a star had they discounted even a little on such a large purchase. But not a problem, we will be back. I come here more often than the Valley Plaza location. It's much easier to find a parking spot here so you are in and out much quicker than going to the mall. It's See's Candies so what's not to like. My favorites are the Milk Chocolate with Almonds and the Dark Chocolate with Almonds. When we stay with friends or family on the East Coast, we'll usually bring some See's Candies or Dewars Chews to give to them. They are both a hit!! Check out this location! Just come early because they do not stay open as long as the branch at Valley Plaza. One more thing....they give everyone a chocolate to sample!! read more

Found myself here after depositing my check at Golden 1. I cannot go to the bank and not make my way here. I come here for the samples and for the milk chocolate almond clusters! I came in for my quick snack, 4 cups of the milk almonds, 2 clusters per cup which usually comes out to a little less than $5. The day I came in there were 3 people ahead of me but there were 4 people working so everyone was being helped. I was in and out in less than 3 minutes! read more

First time at See's...LOVE IT! My husband's family does custom boxes every year for Christmas; the workers were super helpful in helping me pick the perfect flavors for my custom box. And I love that not only so they give you a sample, but you get to choose which flavor you want. That's awesome customer service right there. The line was incredibly long, but the employees weren't sweating it. They quickly and kindly helped all of the customers and were very patient. At one point, all of the workers were helping people behind the chocolate counter. A couple people got in line at the register, and one customer proceeded to be quite rude to the employees...she waited all of 4 minutes before cussing out the employees for being "dumb" and not being there to help her checkout. The line literally wrapped around the store, and this lady was ticked off she had to wait four minutes. Anyway, as she proceeded to raise her rude little voice at the employees, they were all so professional about it and were still kind and patient with her. I was really impressed with that. I just left after buying some Easter candy. The person in charge was really, really rude. The workers were doing their best, but their supervisor kept bossing them around. It was very strange. I was ready to be checked out, but she sent the cashier away to do something in the back. Then, the supervisor began helping all of the people behind me. After I finally checked out, I asked the cashier for a free sample (which is customary at Sees), once again the supervisor sent him to the back. No sample for me.
