I came here with a friend to catch up over some chai lattes, and we absolutely loved the coffee shop vibe! This place is out of the way, so it's kind of a hidden gem. Once we were inside it felt very warm and inviting. The ladies at the counter helped us right away with our orders and our drinks were out in no time. We sat on the comfy sofas and enjoyed our lattes. It was delicious! Definitely need to go back and try more drinks! read more

As someone who's still new to Bakersfield, I've been on the hunt for my go to local coffee shops, and Faith Coffee has quickly become one of my favorites. Located next to a church in an industrial area, it's one of those places you might not expect to find unless you're looking for it. Once you step inside, you're greeted by a cozy atmosphere with warm lighting and a darker, inviting aesthetic that makes it easy to settle in and stay awhile. There's plenty of seating and room to spread out. There is a Christian bookstore connected to the cafe they have religious articles like bibles, devotionals, gifts or other faith based items. Overall, great coffee, welcoming service and a peaceful environment that's perfect for slowing down for a bit. read more

Faith Coffee Shop was amazing once again. They dropped their fall lineup of drinks. I tried the pumpkin spice and the sweet pie latte, they were so good. This place is awesome. I left a prayer request on their prayer board. I recommend this coffee shop. read more

I can't say enough about this cute faith based coffee shop! Because it's tucked off the main road, I don't think many realize it's here. As my Book Club was looking for a coffee shop to get together to do vision boards, I thought of it based off of my daughter's recommendation. She and her friends have come here to study, and the vibe is perfect for it! Welcoming staff, delicious coffee (hot and cold) and juices, rotating bakery items, a cute gift shop/a book store right next door, a prayer wall, and lots of different and comfortable seating arrangements make this coffee shop one that you have to visit. After spending the morning doing vision boards here with the girls, several indicated that this will become their "go to" from now on. Highly recommend! read more

Finally made it to Faith Coffee Shop and it definitely lived up to the hype! The only thing I wished for was a slightly friendlier and more enthusiastic host to guide me through the menu and explain all the fun coffee options But hey, maybe they were busy preparing for the storm, so no hard feelings! I quickly trusted my friend's recommendation and ordered the famous tiramisu latte and WOW... it was basically dessert in a cup! My usual coffee choice is a little stronger, but this was such a delicious treat and the perfect cozy first sip of the day. The atmosphere was honestly my favorite part. The second I walked in, I loved the uplifting Christian vibes. There was a joyful group of ladies laughing and chatting, and their energy completely filled the room with warmth and kindness. It felt welcoming, lively, and peaceful. Overall, such a sweet experience and definitely a fun little Bakersfield coffee stop I'd come back to! read more

The vibe in this cafe is so relaxing I love furniture makes me feel at home. Place is very clean and staff super nice. Only thing I am a bit bumped out don't have too many options on food besides bagels and few other pastries. I was super hungry thought they would have something there besides those mentioned. I wished could have stayed, but had leave grab something to eat. A Warm Welcome, Great Coffee, and a Hidden Gem Faith Coffee Shop made me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the cozy atmosphere added to the charm. I ordered a latte with almond milk and a banana nut muffin -- both were delicious. The latte was smooth and creamy, and the muffin tasted fresh and comforting. I absolutely loved my experience here! I found this place through Yelp and am so glad to have found this spot. I came to journal and read, and this place is perfect for that. There are so many comfy and cozy seating areas. It's not too loud in there either. There is a bookstore that is in the same building too! Service was very kind and quick. The brown sugar shaken espresso with oatmilk is absolutely delicious. It was creamy, frothy, and the brown sugar syrup tastes delicious. So much better than Starbucks in my opinion! I will definitely be coming back and I'm excited to try more drinks! read more

Delicious latte and in a faith-filled place. Who can ask for anything more?! There is a sense of peace in this place that is not like any normal coffee shop I've been to before. Great bookstore ! They have tons of different bibles as well as clothing items, pens, accessories, anything you can think of. This bookstore is definitely my favorite in town. This is the cutest coffee shop! It is Faith based with an attached book store. It has table seating for large groups who may want to do Bible study and smaller tables for smaller groups. This has to be the friendliest coffee shop in Bakersfield! The baristas are just pure kindness and so friendly. No "gen z stare" here lol very welcoming and ready to help and answer questions or give suggestions. I got a hot latte whole milk with a pump of vanilla, I told them I didn't like it too sweet and it wasn't, almost had a slight toasted flavor with the vanilla. I wanted to get food but nothing stuck out to me, that was my only slight disappointment. I thought the space itself was pretty unique, very large meeting tables and couches and lots of seating for a coffee shop. The couches looked so comfy, next time I'll be ready to bring a book and get cozy. Great job Faith coffee shop! Keep it up, I'll be back. read more

Coffee shop looked closed when I pulled into the parking garage lot yes there is a huge welcome sign out front but with the shades drawn it looked closed. I also get why the blinds are closed shutting off the intense summer sun. Walked in and it is very relaxed with light music on low (as it should be) with 6 tables and soft couches. There are some additional seats in the lobby of the Faith church bookstore. The coffee (why we came) Under His wings honey and cinnamon latte and it is tasty. Little sweet but not overpowering for $6.55. The pastries are costco cheese Danish $4 and there are a few cups to buy. Enough parking and free wifi. This would be good place to meet friends. I do suggest an open sign for the front door for first timers. read more

Super yummy coffee and such a cozy cafe!! We ordered an iced peppermint bark latte (pictured) and a hot toasted hazelnut mocha latte. Both were great winter drinks! The peppermint bark flavor was prominent and sweet with strong coffee. Even iced, it tasted good after sitting for a while so you don't have to chug it. The toasted hazelnut was sooo warming and definitely toasty. The inside has lots of seating, both comfy couches and large tables for hanging out with friends or study nights. I have been searching for a good coffee place that has a good atmosphere where I can go hang out and get some writing done on my days off, but I don't want to just go sit at Starbucks. I guess you can say I've been losing faith that good coffee exists in Bakersfield anymore. I heard about this place through social media so I decided to give it a try today and it was like a religious experience. They get their beans from a local coffee roaster so you can actually taste the quality. And the girl working there was so helpful. I didn't know what I wanted to try so she made some recommendations and I was so happy with what I ended up with! She really knew what she was talking about. They also have a stunning book shop for all your faith-based gift needs! All in all, I would say this is a MUST try. If you like good coffee, cute coffee shops with good vibes and supporting shops with good morals, this is the place for you! And if none of that other stuff matters and just the quality of the coffee is the selling point, you'd still be wise to give Faith Coffee a try! read more

They were chatting comfortably and casually with one another and their customers. It seemed like they enjoyed their job and where they were; which made me feel welcome. My experience with Cafe Faith has always been pleasant. The coffee is really good, the ambiance is great for reading and relaxing, and the staff has always been kind and helpful, until today. I was trying to enjoy my coffee and read my book when a lady came (probably the shift manager) in and started micromanaging the employees making the coffee. She kept going nonstop to the point that it made the environment uncomfortable for other customers who had to sit there listening to her complain and badger the staff. I've always liked this place, which is why this stood out so much. I hope management can be more mindful of how situations like this affect both the employees and the overall atmosphere for customers. Please do better handling this situations..... read more

It dampened our moods completely. We didn't get to even finish looking at the front of the store. We put the item we had in our hand back in their place and left. Really saddened about the experience and the fact that we couldn't enjoy the rest of the store as we could see they had lots of variety and the prices seemed reasonable from what we did see. Here are some of the pictures we managed to take before leaving. Update: upon further review a lot of recent reviews seem to be about the same women with the same common factor. She only provides terrible atmosphere and service to people of color. Which is very disappointing to see that so many customers come excited to come and explore to only leave feeling worse due to something we can't change. Especially in this climate and day of age, it's saddening to see such hate being spread.

Faith Coffee Shop is a delightful hidden gem that exudes a cozy, peaceful charm, reminiscent of cottagecore and farmhouse decor. From the moment you step in, you're enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere. While waiting for my order, I had the pleasure of exploring their quaint bookstore, which smelled amazing thanks to an oil diffuser. True to the shop's name, the bookstore primarily features books on religion, but it also offers an array of adorable knickknacks for purchase. I ordered one of their specialty drinks, a hot golden lion for $6.25, an iced chai for $5.25, and a croissant turkey with Havarti for $7.99. The hot golden lion, reminiscent of a caramel macchiato, was very sweet and a great pick-me-up. My favorite was the iced chai, which tasted literally like fall in a cup. It's one of the best chai tea lattes I've ever had, and I absolutely recommend it. The croissant was good, though the portion size was a bit small for the price, but still enjoyable. Overall, I give Faith Coffee Shop a 9.1/10. Don't make the mistake of passing this hidden gem up! read more

I tried the iced sugar cookie latte with oat milk, and it was absolutely delicious -- even better than the one from Starbucks! I also ordered the sugar-free dulce de leche, which quickly became my favorite. It had just the right amount of sweetness, and I loved that it used sugar-free syrup so I didn't feel guilty enjoying it. Definitely recommend giving these drinks a try! read more
