Her customer service was excellent -- she even offered me a dark chocolate sample after I mentioned that I usually don't like dark chocolate. It was a dark chocolate with vanilla crème, and it was actually delicious! It completely changed my mind about dark chocolate. I ended up purchasing the bridge mix, and it was so good. Her attitude and the way she treated us were disappointing and unprofessional. Unfortunately, this experience has convinced us not to return to this store. We've had multiple negative interactions at this location over the years, and it's frustrating to feel disrespected as paying customers. I grew up enjoying See's candies for holidays and special occasions. I'm partial to the milk divinity and the divinity puffs. My kids love their lollipops because they last forever lol. Upon entering See's Candies I was warmly greeted by an older lady tending the counter. She was very nice and helpful. She gave me a sample of a coconut almond dark chocolate and it was amazing! I came in looking for some treats for Teacher appreciation week and I found some cute tins that came with their candy pops. They were a hit with the teachers and even some parents asked where I got them. Anyhow, this was my first time coming to this See's candy shop and it won't be the last! Went in last night around 7:30pm, and they close at 8pm. Lady that was closing last night 10/22/2025 was extremely rude and me feel unwelcome. I was just buying a couple pieces of chocolate and was looking at what I wanted. Her bad attitude made me feel rushed, so I ended up picking random pieces of chocolate I wouldn't normally choose. A box of chocolate from See's Candies is an oldie but goodie! We love gifting these red wrapped boxes as much as we love receiving them especially during the holidays! I love coming in for a sample. You can't go wrong with See's Candies -- if you're looking to treat yourself with delicious locally made candy (from their HQ in Los Angeles) distributed to their stores near you - this is the place! Samples are provided, just let them know what you'd like to try. On top of that, they're very sanitary, wear gloves and such. If you're looking for a last minute gift, for a teacher, friend, or your love - this too is a good choice. Their one pound mixed boxes are good. This particular location is located in Victoria Gardens, the times I've gone, trafffic inside the store has been minimal - during the peak holidays, it can get congested (as you'd expect) so plan ahead if you're going during those rough times ahaha. See's is my most FAVORITE candy in all of the world! I frequent this location often, especially around the holidays. With COVID raging, decided to order online and pick up at the store. Boy does this team have their safety standards on point. Order online, pick up at the door, off you go. No real contact, with team members except when they hand you your items. Everyone was wearing a mask, and there are clearly defined social distance markers. They are also only allowing 5 people in the store at a time, and it is controlled by a team member. Speaking of the team members, the 2 interacted with were so friendly and warm. They apologized for the situation, and even thanked me for continuing to support the business. I love that they're observing the social distancing rule... only allowing 6 people or 2-3 families inside at a time. I was given a sample of milk chocolate Caramel (a milk chocolate square filled with Caramel and almonds) my choice since I asked for it - she gave it to me a plastic sleeve and told me I can eat it once I leave the store. I was totally.okay with that. I ordered a pound of chocolate which I chose. Dark chocolate marzipan, almond squares, caramel, molasses chips, milk chocolate patties, and lots of my favorite VANILLA NUT CARAMEL!!! I also got a 1/2 lb bag of scotch kisses for my better half. I can't believe how expensive a pound of chocolate is at See's Candies (over $20 for a pick your own box) but ohhhh sooooo worth it!!! Gotta have my See's fix. Wow, I didn't know that there was a See;s Candies here in the Inland Empire. I do not come out here often anymore since I live so far away in the OC. But I was here visiting folks, and I found the See's. So we stopped inside to check them out and buy some candy to take home. No way I was going back home and not buying some candy. I am so disappointed in See's candy this year. I made the mistake of ordering from their website with a delivery date of 12/22. I PAID for delivery! As of TODAY 12/27 still no candy. I called the customer service line the women that answered was curt, unapologetic. She was bordering on rude. She stated that my candy had never been picked up and said it as if she was actually looking at my unshipped order. Of course I know that this is impossible BUT geez. Then when I asked what are my options since much of the candy were holiday gifts for my staff she said "we can resend your order or you can get a refund". I asked are you sending the same candy that has been sitting there for 7 days? She responded curtly "we always send fresh candy". Then I asked when would I receive and she said 12/28 but not guaranteed. So I asked about a refund. The customer service lady said 7 to 10 days for my refund. UNBELIEVABLE I buy see's candy for my staff every year. I just needed a few more items and decided on shipping instead of going back to the store and standing in line. I have been enjoying See's Candies since I was a little kid and I remember my mother would share her See's chocolates with me and brothers when my father would surprise her with a box for Valentine's Day. I have great memories of those times, especially the chocolate mustache after I ate too many. Dropping into this See's candies brought back great memories of candies, chocolates, childhood and family. During my recent visit, it was not surprising to see kids at the display case pointing at their favorite chocolates and lollipops---creating the same memories I did growing up. Love coming to this Sees to pick up some Scotchmallows!! They are my favorite!! Their customer service is okay. I go often that I'm used to just asking for my sample but the last few times they just hand me a chocolate before I can say hello. And I don't want to be rude and be like No thanks! I recently went to See's candies in Victoria Gardens with my seven year old son to get some chocolate and one of the ladies that helped us racially profiled us and assumed we had stolen a lollipop it was so ridiculous . My son was showing me some lollipops and he put them back in the shelf and went to get a chocolate bar instead. She asked me after we had chosen some chocolate that if I was also buying a lollipop I looked at her confused since all we got were chocolates. I proceeded to respond no and I wanted to tell her something but my little boy was listening to her with a confused look so I just paid and left. See's candies, as far as quality of the product goes, is always on par. I did pay a pretty penny for the truffles I got, but the quality does justify for it. However, this was my first time here at this particular location. I wasn't greeted nor offered any samples. There were two ladies behind the counter - the older lady served me. As for the quality of service, it felt like a bit neutral. Neutral in the sense that I was served with the selection I asked for and that was it. For a more premium product like this, I expected a bit more on the soft skills side. Service was not on par with the premium perception and product. I had questions about what was included in the Fall Collection candy box and the young man didn't know, but he immediately got a very pleasant co-worker to come out and help me. I love See's Candies. I love to pick out specialty chocolates and make my own gifts for family and friends. This location is a bit smaller than other See's candies I have visited, but it gets the job done. My main complaint is that they were out of my favorite candy: The Pecan Butterscotch Bar ! The lines can get a little bit long, but probably because its one of the only See's candies in the area. I didn't have any horrible customer service experiences.
