I've been here a few times now, and service has been friendly and courteous. Today was no exception. The girl handling our order was efficient and nice. Her scoops were well rounded and tight. Not loose or small but the correct proportion. I was the 1st one to order in our party of 4. On this visit they were out of chocolate for the topping and bananas. I was going to go for a banana split. No really, I was. Disheartening hearing those words. Seems to be difficult for businesses to estimate how much they need. I decided to have 2 scoops. When it was done it was placed on the back counter. When my group was done ordering everything was brought to the front handed out to everyone. I was thinking mine would be soft because it stayed there the longest. It wasn't. I was surprised it didn't melt which would be a sign of poor quality ice cream. When the nice young lady put the ice cream in a put the carton on the scale I thought for sure she would then go back and add to it. The serving was very short. Normally when they hand pack they use a spade to press the ice cream to the bottom of the container. She didn't do that. She just scooped up a spadefull and laid it on top of the ice cream that was in the container already. The container was hardly full when she put a lid on it and gave me a price. I started to say something but she looked like a minor and I was hardly going to confront a minor over some ice cream. When I got home, I opened it and the serving was sooo short! It was about HALF! We just took one container and scooped it into the other one and made one full quart. There was plenty of room to do this when there should not have been! Guess I just gave them an extra $12 tonight. I left feeling ripped off. I don't like that and don't think I'll ever go back.
