Stopped off at Staters to pick up some things to celebrate my sister's birthday with a healthy picnic. I finished my walk around the store with a trip to the Deli. Ray and a lady (unfortunately I didn't get her name) were at the counter and they recommended different turkey options for a lettuce wrap and graciously let me sample some of the options between Sun-dried tomato, cracked pepper and oven roasted(which were my favorites in that order)! They demonstrated excellent and friendly customer service and I will be sure to seek them out at this store for all of my deli needs. A simple interaction that was a pleasant way to start my morning. Been going here since it opened. They are really good at opening new registers if the lines get busy. They have a person standing on the customer side in the center where they can see all the registers and know what needs to be done. The staff is very fast and kind. I only have two issues. 1. Read the fine print! You may see a sign reading that something is only $3.99 on sale from $9.99. But the fine print says you need to buy four to get that price. So if you buy only one you won't save money. Be sure to check if the discounts have conditions. 2. A few of the cashiers are VERY slow. I don't know names but the big guy who always wears funny hats is so slow you can time yourself in line with a calendar. Even if that is the shortest line, avoid it. And a brunette lady with Marge Simpson like hair is the fastest and the sweetest. read more

I've been going to Stater Brothers for years. I don't have a problem with any of the employees. Service is good. I do have a problem with the pricing. It's not just this Stater Brothers, it's all of them. Their prices are sky high. It has nothing to do with inflation. Stater Brothers is screwing the customers. Shop around at other supermarkets and see their prices. The fruit department at Stater Brothers is the worst. Stater Brothers is not the low price leader. I have visited other supermarkets and checked their prices, Stater Brothers prices are usually anywhere from $1.00 to $2.00 more for the same item at their competitors store. I have been going to my local Stater Bros. for years and never experienced such a bad experience. First I've never seen only 5 carts in front of the store. I figured maybe they are short staffed. Then, while checking out the clerk didn't even say hello. I made my purchase and the bagger bagged my items and didn't put them in my cart and turned around. The clerk then placed my items in the cart and I said thank you. He didn't respond nor look at me but appeared annoyed. Staters has always been my go-to grocery store. The deals are amazing and you can always rely on them for quality products. Their store brand is just as good as name brand items. Why I'm writing this review is because I had an unpleasant experience today while shopping. As someone in recovery from alcohol, I have turned to drinking sparkling water. Checking out, the young female bagger thought it would be a great idea to blurt out that my choice in sparkling water was "absolutely disgusting". I've never had an issue with the workers there, but what she said out loud was extremely rude and I felt disrespected. I see no need for her to voice her opinion on something that I'm spending money on at the store she works at. She must have been new because she also bagged my chicken with the produce. Went over there just about three days ago I don't understand why they hire younger kids and think that they have the authority or the ability to question somebody and to make somebody look embarrassing was with my wife got out the car to go buy some groceries and I see that there was a complaint towards me about something and the little kids that were in the front, which mostly they were females around 17 to 18 to 16 years old were talking about me right in front of me cussing and saying rude things right by the Maneger with glasses. very rude very disrespectful and they kept looking at me made me feel very uncomfortable. Always shop at any Staters, anyway yesterday I went to this one and purchased several items. While leaving the angel sitting on my shoulder whispered to check the receipt, so I did and discovered I was overcharged for an item . I returned to the store to verify and discovered that that price label was incorrect so I contacted their management team who quickly confirmed the error and without any dispute allowed me to keep the item and refunded me the difference.
