I give 5 s but unfortunately, I had some warm chocolate that my mom ate , the associates were all great and gave me ideas about what to get my mom. I don't know how they were so happy. I was so excited to get my chocolate after a long day at work but I left feeling sticky and hot. I didn't enjoy my sample. Or the bag I got separately because it was really humid in the store. I was extremely excited to use my promotional card that ive been dancing around with in my wallet the last 6 months. I had 5 stamps which to gain I had to pay $40+ to get 1 stamp per transaction. I go in to claim my card only for them to say that that promotion was done only by about 1 week btw. Customer service if I could I would rate a zero just for that. How many screaming or out of line customers do you reward? You can't reward the paying one? Little backwards don't you think? Partnership with team lead or manager was made. read more

Sees Candies have been around since I can remember it's one of the original chocolate candy makers that are still in business and probably in the top three. I remember going to the location on la Cienega in LA and going in the rear factory watching the ladies working. This was the location that the I Love Lucy took to film the episode of Lucy working on conveyor belt as it gets faster and faster. That location has been there for over 50 years maybe 70. I love the chocolate and try to control myself from eating to much. My grandparents, my parents, me, my son, my grandkids that's 5 generations and still going strong. This afternoon my fiancée went in to purchase and have a box of peanut brittle wrapped. She speaks spanish . She asked the cashier for help, she was rude, sisnt help my fiancée, my fiance speaks spanish amd the cashier was even more rude. Asked to wrap box and cashier said she didn't have time and gave my fiancée a sheet of wrrap and said she can go home and do it. My fiancée asked to talk with manager and she said she wasnt there but that the cashier assisting was the assistant manager. See's need to know what type of customer service management gives to their customers.just because the customers speak another language it doesn't allow an assistant manager to be so rude and talk down to a customer!!!! read more

Day before valentines they had a line out the door. Some people waiting for online orders and some waiting for custom boxes. We just wanted "grab n go" so we waited about 20 minutes or so to get in. Because of Covid they had very limited capacity but they were moving people in and out the best they could. Didn't feel rushed and the selection was great as usual. Thanks to the team at that location for being so accommodating with lines of people needing direction and some being impatient. You all did a great job. read more

First of all, I did not feel welcome in this store , I was not helped with my selections. When I asked for help it seemed as if it was a bother. The 'chubby'lady was especially icy. It seemed unfriendly and miltaryesqu, so I decided to just choose a ready made assortment, even though that was not what I really wanted rather than deal with their half heartedness. This was my first time ever actually going into a See's Candies. I was surprised at how small it is. It's a tiny store but the employees were so helpful & polite. We all know they're super expensive but it felt worth it because the cashier really made a point to help me out. I'd definitely go back again. read more

I stopped by today and the store was quite busy. I was patient and am always a patient non complainer kind of person. I waited in a line that seemed to take some time but remained patient. Finally a young pleasant See's assistant looks up at me like how can I help you, I walk over with my request and she starts to assist me. She then looked over to a lady standing up to the candy case and asked if she had been helped. The lady replied that she has not been helped. The young pleasant See's assistant took care of my request in all about 30 seconds handing me what I had requested while telling the lady standing up to the candy case that she would be right with her. Just as I was leaving I see the store manager walk in the door. Once in my car the store manager appears outside at my car window to tell me how rude I was to treat her customers in that manner. That will not be tolerated and to wait my turn. Obviously the lady/Karen standing at the counter had ran up and told the store manager of her poor mistreatment and of course like always the one who complains first is judged to be right by someone who wasn't even there. I was the bad guy. I had no idea that lady at the counter had not been helped. Why wasn't she waiting in line like the rest of us? And why am I the one getting reprimanded? I just wish people in higher up positions had logic and could read through these type of situations especially when they weren't even there. I feel sorry for her team. I'm sure she treats them just as bad. I admit both myself and the store assistant could have apologized or even had me step back so Karen could be helped first but for what took seconds, I don"t think that would have mattered. I mean if it was me who didn't wait to be called and had to wait an extra 30 seconds, you wouldn't see me running to the store manager. Anyway I won't be visiting this store anymore. There are just too many "Karens" and toxic bosses everywhere!!! read more

Their seasonal Maple Cashew Brittle is back!! At least for right now til Father's Day. I literally had to take a drive on my lunch to grab a couple boxes before they sell out again. I have to have self control when eating these and the Caliornia Brittle. Otherwise I'll consume the entire box like nothing. read more

I can only comment on the fact that this store is CLOSED on Sundays. Come on guys....you are located on a stretch of freeway where you will either get A: People who live across the street, in which case...who DOESN'T want chocolate on a Sunday? or B: People who are driving to/from Palm Desert....in which case.....shouldn't you get a lot of business on a Sunday? I love this place! Every time I come here it is sparkling clean, organized and it smells amazing! The staff is always very friendly and I always get a wonderful sample... Yummy. Five star review! Duh!! How can you go to a candy shop and not leave happy?! This trip was even better seeing as I was gifted a certificate for a full pound of candy from a coworker. ''Tis the season for pecan pie truffles! I visited the store on 11/1 knowing they FINALLY can sell me my favorite candies. The candy here is always fresh and good. One thing lacking at this location is the employees chose your sample for you whereas many other locations allow you to chose something to sample. But, I love chocolate so I'll be ok trying something new. Depending on which employee is working you may be able to sneak a peek at an upcoming candy before it's debut date. If you come here often u will figure out which is which. Definitely recommend everyone try the pecan pie truffle while it is out thru thanksgiving. It is creamy and delightful with crushed up pecans through the rich yummy center. Then dipped in white chocolate and decorated with a roasted pecan atop. Just glorious. I love this season! I wish this store had better hours. They close by 6 everyday! Some days they close at 5; definitely not easy for working people to get their chocolate fix. Tip: the chocolate freezes well; but I recommend u remove from freezer to fridge then to counter top to prevent discoloration of the chocolate read more

I love this place! The ladies here are very helpful and can perfectly recommend the right chocolates if you let them know who you're shopping for as a gift. They also offer to gift wrap the boxes for you. The only issue I have are the hours of operation. 6pm is little too early for me as I can't make it in on time from work during the week. Maybe closing at 7 or 8p.m.? This could help customers fulfill their gift needs, especially if it is a last minute gift. Other than this the store is clean, smells great and is warm and inviting. read more
