My favorite candy is their Scotchmallow. Not to be missed. Trust me! And my favorite way to eat it? Warmed up and sandwiched between two graham crackers. The candy provides everything for a great s'more- chocolate, marshmallow, and even some caramel. I came in to the shop to see their latest offerings and one of the helpful employees (you'll see them immediately because they are dressed in a vintage style white outfit) asked about my chocolate preference and then handed me a FREe sample. Free chocolate? Yessss.My sample of choice was a dark chocolate truffle. It was so rich and creamy. I really didn't want to give a review for this place, if I tell you how good there sweets are chances are I'd be standing in line behind you. If you like good American quality service, like perhaps In-N-Out Burger Sees candy is another one of those businesses that take pride in their service and quality. I recommend this place. Stopped into See's this afternoon around 230 there was 3 workers in store 2 females and 1 male. Nobody greeted us I understand they were helping people but its policy that they greet you. After the gentleman finished helping the lady he was with he walked right passed us never ask if we needed help or anything. He went straight to the back. Needless to say nobody helped us so we left the store without a purchase. I will continue to go to the Moreno Valley store where at least they give wonderful customer service. read more

I have not been to a See's Candies in many many years. So we were at the Tyler Mall and decided to stop in. I was immediately greeted by John, Lead Sales Manager, who was personable and offered us a free sample, Yum! Because it had been so long since I had any See's candies, I asked a lot of questions of what was new and what he would recommend. He was very patient, answered all of our questions. We ended up buying all of his recommendations and spent some $$$, all worth it!! Thank you John, we will be having a sweet week coming up!! I was in on Valentine's day, I know that it's busy but was unhappy on how an employee was towards others. I was going to get 20 One pound boxes for an office party. Her name was Darlene. She was barking at customers because the lines were not formed the way she liked, telling people that they need to work towards the door and others who are just getting prepacked to go that way. Then she got angry at a customer for not being in line. It appeared that she was also trying to help a coworker making her feel like she was doing something wrong. I ended up walking out and instead getting Starbucks gift cards for my co workers. Not worth spending over $600 to see employees and customers treated bad. read more

Went to this sees in the mall in search of some fun items for my son and nieces Easter baskets! An employee named John did a fabulous job helping me pick the cutest items for each custom basket, I think he's the lead sales manager! I don't know why but the candy that I bought called Holiday Bordeaux was awful, I've never had bad awful candy from See's ever, and this candy was breaking all apart and the sprinkles were just everywhere, I am shocked it just crumbled. Not sure if it's old or the heat got to it even through there was a date on the bottom of both boxes of 07/25. Did they mark the boxes wrong or is it the weather. It's winter it summer now. See's in the mall can be hectic and feel really rushed because the store is small and gets a lot of customers but it's worth it for the chocolate . My last visit I was helped by a kind employee named , Ava. She was patient and didn't make me feel rushed or moved along . She gave me a sample of a box I was going to buy of a single type of chocolate and I'm happy she did . I didn't care for it and bought a personalized box . Me and my friend went today to buy some chocolates. We came in and this white frail rude lady- with glasses and short white hair was the first person we saw. I asked for my sample she gave it to me and then she just gave my friend some random chocolate. We thought she was giving us a free chocolate since at some other places they're nice enough to give us some freebies so we accepted it. Then my friend asked for the chocolate she wanted and the lady said "you can only get one sample per person" and I said "we didn't ask for that one." She gave me the stankiest look know to men, grabbed the sample angrily and gave it to me. At the end I didn't end up buying anything because of her rude attitude! She's always like this, idk what's wrong with her. read more

We walked in and there was customer already waiting in line, and one person working. She was kinda of rude but I'll blame it on her being overwhelmed. We end up leaving without buying anything because the wait was way too long. They need more people working or maybe a better person working behind the counter, either way I wouldn't come back to this location any time soon. The old caucasian woman is very passive aggressive. When I asked if I could choose my sample she ignored me and gave me whatever she wanted. I repeated myself but could not hear what she said so I said "excuse me?" She practically yelled "WHAT DO YOU WANT" with such an attitude. That lady needs an attitude check. Let me start by saying I love "See's" Chocolates...but my two separate experiences at this particular location have been so disappointing. I encountered the same older bitter woman behind the chocolate bar both times. Both times when I visited the store was to buy loose chocolate caramel pecan pieces. When I approached the counter on my first visit, this woman showed very poor customer service and treated me as if I was only there to get free samples until I clarified to her I didn't want to sample anything just make a purchase. On my second visit just a few days ago, my niece accompanied me to this location to buy chocolate caramel pecan pieces. When we approached the bar to order the chocolate pieces, the same butter woman was there and was the only one available to attended us. She didn't greet us just turned around and said "I'll be right with you." A simple hello would have been fine in front of her statement. As soon as she was done she approached the counter with two separate samples in her hand without saying a word other than "here are the samples of the day," one molasses and the other coconut creme. I then informed her I didn't care for either flavors and she then points at my niece and says in a rude tone, "then they can be for her," while pointing at my niece. My niece turns to me and tells me, "I don't like those flavors." I advise the woman, thanks but We will pass on the samples and just buy chocolate caramel pecan pieces and chocolate almond clusters. What I didn't know is that she had thrown in the samples she tried to force us to eat into my bag of chocolate prior to weighing it and I ended up paying for it!! I didn't realize it until I got to my car and was soo upset of her actions. It's sad that these two poor experiences have led me to purchasing chocolate from another vendor, chocolate mountain which has always treated me like a respected customer. Sorry See's you lost a loyal customer to chocolate due to the poor service. read more

The See's Candies at Tyler Gallery is by far the worst See's Candies in SoCal. The staff is not trained, and the staff is unqualified to work. In my experience at See's Candies the employees at this location were unable to refund $2.71 from my gift card, because they just did not know how to. After attempting to complete a redumentary transaction, and failing, I had lost half an hour of my day. In all honesty I do not blame the staff of See's, for its the managements fault for being too lazy to train their employees. By California law, any establishment has to return, store credit of any sorts, if so balance is under 10 dollars. Very disappointed..... read more

I use to come here after work on the weekends but this is the first time I noticed there wasn't enough staff besides one working the front. I got turn away by one of the three employees. The third employee ended up helping another customer who in which came in later then me while I had waited right in front of the window for a staff. I have been to this Sees for many years now, and after an incident that took place with my mother tonight, I will not be back. Ever. Its clear its a very busy this season and there is a lot of stress, however, that never excuses rude behavior from the employees. My mom walked in and dealt with the employee by the name of Vernice. The first thing that took place from Vernice was taking another customer before my mom. My mom asked, " were they before me?" She then stated yes. My mom indicated she was in line, but let that go. Now what really upset her, after she already PAID for the item, my mom bends down and puts her item in the bag she brought in with her. Vernice states, "mam is that your bag?!" My mom immediately gets upset and states "of course its my bag, why would I put my items in another persons bag? " My mom immediately walks out and I can tell she is flustered. Shes 65 and has NEVER been questioned as if she was shoplifting. I called the store, and spoke with Vernice. She was rude, obnoxious and stated her story and said she was sticking with it. She even ended the call with she had a witness. I will never walk into your store, and I will be sure that everyone I know doesn't either. Train your staff, Sees, they are ruining your reputation rapidly. I will reach out to Lindsay, and Chris (Store Managers) when they are back. read more

I got this white redhead who was so rude to me she was like being fake & being sarcastic when she responded to me I will not return if she's in there. She should be fired if her one job is to be polite this is the first time ive had a bad experience at sees and will only be returning because of the chocolate. However one time this lady kristine was so nice and cute to me I love her! She should be manager or maybe she is she kind of looks like it.
