Had the best experience at this location! When my son & I walked in, we were greeted by Sara; she was so friendly & helpful. Not only did Sara give us delicious samples, she gave us info on various products, especially on the graduation cap box (so cute). She wasn't pushy, she just let us browse so we took our time. She gave us great info & advice; she was so knowledgeable... Our all-time favorites are the dark chocolate California brittle & the dark chocolate nougat. My son loves their butterscotch & chocolate lollipops. In all the years that I've visited See's, Sara provided the best customer service ever! What can I say about See's candies except that they are the holy grail of candy shops if you are a chocolate addict like myself. The store is always spotless, as you would expect of any See's Candies shop, and free samples abound. Bring your credit card though as they aren't cheap once your desires take over. read more

We went to this location. So here we are spending around $70 on a 2-pound box of candy with a rude associate helping us. They kept saying what can I get you on this side. We would say what we wanted then she would say well that is on the other. Etc over and over again! Not sure we would shop at this location again! The candy is getting very expensive! read more

We were brought here my my sister in law while on vacation and I can tell you, If you have sweet tooth, this place is the place for you. They have all sorts of chocolate options. I personally think it's better than those pre boxes candies you can buy at grocery stores. They are fairly priced by 1/2 lb and up. read more

The first time we stopped by here it didn't seem as upbeat and fun as it's neighbor store to the south in Kent. This location is closer to us though and we have a certain fondness for it just because we are so used to seeing it in its corner spot. It seems like the staff have gotten more outgoing recently -- as well as more open about coupons and deals -- or maybe we have gotten more laidback. We DID have to ask what was the daily special (it's birthday month for Mary See, if I'm getting that correctly) - but once we did it was made clear how you can tell by the fact that the prices are in a different color, and a couple dollars cheaper (we wouldn't have noticed). We make monthly trips for my spouse's favorite lollipops and always enjoy the tasty samples - and always get more than just the lollipops. read more

I stopped by this shop during a recent Saturday afternoon stayover in the SeaTac area. There was about a 5 minute wait in line, but the service I received was friendly and efficient. Cute place for a nice box of chocolates. You can purchase premise ones, or make your own! The ladies behind the counter were very helpful, answering all of my questions. It was weird though. When I asked for their Eggnog truffle, or their Pecan Pie one, the lady said "oh we don't have those. They are our seasonal ones". Well, it's December 18th. Stopped by on a rainy rainy day. I was the only customer and I was able to look at all the easter candy. I wanted to buy everything! I didn't though. I ordered a few pieces of candy and small easter chocolate eggs. The 2 women that work there were just awesome and nice. The shared their favorites and gave me a free sample and a lolly pop with my purchase. I got a listing of their chocolates - for the next gift box we get from grandma. I was their only customer on a recent mid-afternoon on a Tuesday. See's Candies are great. So the only question is "How was the service?" Partly because I was the only customer perhaps, the service was sterling. I was sad to learn that they'd discontinued the chocolate bar with toffee bits in it. Sad! as you know who would say. But nearly as sad as when See's recently closed all three of their stores in the state of New Mexico meaning that I either have to order online or wait until I happen to be in a location where See's has a store or stores as I've done in Denver and Seattle so far. In the future, I'll likely just order online to save the hassle of driving or taxiing to the store nearest me. Shipping is expensive but so is taking a taxi from and back to the Seattle Airport. read more

I discovered See's through my fiance who grew up in the PNW. I'd never experienced it growing up - what a shame! You can mail order or shop in the little stores. The perk of going to a storefront is that you get a free chocolate! You can pick individual chocolates from the case and "build your own" mix, or buy pre-packaged boxes. They also have seasonal items and lollipops. My favorite box is the nuts and chews assortment. I also love their scotch eggs - marshmallow and caramel covered in chocolate. Prices are also very reasonable, at about $16 for a 1 pound box and less than $5 for the seasonal and larger individual items. See's makes a great gift (for someone else or yourself)!! read more

When you Walk into See's Candies, you'll be presented with a clean store front with a keeping it simple design & a candy counter that feels like a blast from the past. My first time at See's was at this location this year. I've recently been to See's in Kent & will now make that my go to place. But if you're a candy/chocolate lover, please consider stopping by this location or any store. I first walked into this See's after going to Jamba Juice & noticing the store right next to it. The lady in the store who i wish i knew her name, greeted us & was very polite. There were 2 older people in the store & we were all cracking jokes & being friendly while trying out samples. They will offer samples without hesitation. The shop feels so humble. Unlike any huge company, smaller stores tend to have more pride & decency. After trying out samples & grabbing a list of candies for next time, we pricked out what we wanted & the experience was plesant. There are different box sizes for different prices. I believe we filled a box up the first time & it was 25 dollars total. The 2nd time stopping by it was 15 dollars depending on weight. There are already packaged goodies in the shop but i recommend making your own candy box. My favorite is the dark chocolate raspberry filling ones. Yummy! Overall this location was friendly, clean, easy to get to but kind of hidden among the bigger stores on the lot. So if you're in a shopping mood or if you want to gift chocolate to your loved ones for the holidays, i recommend stopping by See's Candies. I went into the Sees on South center park way to spend some gift cards a coworker gave me for my birthday. I get to the register and tell the cashier I want to get as close to 50 dollars as I can for the gift cards. My total came to 48.00. I swipe the first card and then the lady at the register says "wait for the card" whatever that means I was already swiping the other card when I saw the remaining balance. This woman then says to me- can't you follow directions, I said wait for the card! I'm a harsh tone she says " I don't know what I'm going to do with you people"! I was so taken aback I thought she joking at first. Now look I'm 45 years old with gray in my hair, I'm not going to stand for this. I said to her - "are you talking to me in that fashion"? She said yes! I told her that was very rude to say, it literally was a racial slur! To say - you people! I would give 4 stars, it wouldn't be fair because I went the day before valentines day and maybe that is why the line was long. all the staff was extremely nice for as fast as they try to be to get people what they need. There was a younger lady, she didn't help me but she was very helpful to other customers. Robin was the lady that helped me and she was very nice and funny and fast. I forgot to get two white chocolate hearts so I had two remove two after I was done selecting, she suggested to remove the coconut bon bon and I trusted her but she gave me one to sample anyways, and wow it wasn't that great so thank you robin. They love to give you samples to try, they were like everywhere but I wasn't greedy, she even sent me home with a couple which was unexpected and just made the whole experience even better. I sure do miss the old See's location which was located next to McDonald's ever since I can remember back in the 70's/80s, but then they moved it to Federal Way a few years ago and now we have this much smaller one that doesn't accept the Boeing Employees discount (just the one in Federal Way does).
