I was so happy to hear that they are serving DOLE PINEAPPLE WHIP! Nothing can compare to a soft serve DOLE FROYO. It's even better SWIRLED with VANILLA or another flavor. If not able to swirl 2 of your favorites, you may have to layer them on top of each other, than swirl them with your spoon. You can layer multiple flavors. Mind blowing fun! The outdoor patio tables are always filthy, never wiped down and the garbage cans are ALWAYS overflowing. I REALLY like this location. I visit just about every Fri night for the $6 Menchies fill a bowl special! But that's not the only reason...the staff that work there are the BEST. They're always super friendly and nice, and they keep that place CLEAN. I would say it's the best kept Menchies, and that was even BEFORE Covid. It's always so dirty when I go there, the counter is so sticky and there fruit is always out. People walk around without masks, they allow sample cups and peoples saliva touches the place where the yogurt comes out from, & people don't social distance so don't come here if you value your health. I went to a different Menchie's location about six years ago, and I wasn't impressed, but they've upped their game since then. The frozen yogurt here was really good. I wasn't a fan of the cookie dough bites or brownies. The waffle bowl wasn't quite as fresh as it could have been. Next time, I'll probably be better off a snagging a few waffle chips instead. This was just an OK experience. I was excited to take my daughter for her first frozen yogurt and I was underwhelmed. The area was very clean, we came in 35 minutes prior to closing and they were much more concerned with closing than helping us understand the process. Apparently it was free waffle cone Wednesday but we did not know that until after we had already paid and they told the customers behind us. I wish we had known that so we could've taken advantage of that special. Since this was our first visit everything was very new to us it would've been nice to know that in advance. The other recommendation that I have is that the frozen yogurt was very soft. I'm not sure if they had shut their machines off or if that is their normal consistency but it was very Melty already. I had three flavors in my cup, and my daughter had three in her cup and they all had the same consistency. This made for a very sad first visit for us. read more

The Flavors here are either really good or what were they thinking. They have a wide range of flavors and toppings. All in all I like this place. The staff seems well trained and are very helpful. Its not just knowing answers to questions and smiling, they do a good job of being attentive and helping out. Also for all the kids running around its kept rather clean. When the weather is nice having the seats and tables outside is a nice touch. The one in Magnolia and Queen Anne are also run pretty well. So Id say this is a review for all 3 locations. I LOVE Menchie's!! I always only come to this location because they're so clean and friendly. During CO-VID I had tried to stop by for a couple weeks and they were unfortunately closed, but I called the other day and they reopened! I was so happy to be able to stop by and support them during these times. The owner was so friendly and of course they're taking the extra precautions since they're a self-serve place. Only odd part about our visit was that there were three kids working about thirty minutes from close, and they were hanging out sitting on the counters and sampling all the flavors. I adore Menchie's with its ever-changing variety of flavors of frozen yogurt. This isn't watered-down "froyo", it's creamy and full of flavor. Menchie's also has a stellar selection of toppings choices: cereals, chocolates, nuts, name-brand candy bars, gummies, sours, fruits, sauces, and even magic shell. I have always recognized that Menchie's attracts and hires teenagers. During my recent trip, the "working teens" were actually sitting on the counters flirting with one another. I was disgusted at the behavior especially due in part to the fact that this is a family-type establishment and there were at least five children in the store at the time. Regardless of my love for Menchie's, its seasonal flavors and exorbitant amount of toppings, and although I will continue to patronize this location, I will be paying close attention to when I bring my 7-year old niece in. read more

I have to give them points for great customer service, cleanliness, and helpfulness. And they are right down the street from my house, so the convenience factor is huge. And most of their flavors are fine, the standard fro-yo flavors, and the chocolate is perhaps better than I've had at other places. So here is the problem, and why I had to give them only 3 stars. I simply don't like their version of original tart "flavor" fro-yo, which happens to be my favorite flavor and is what I usually get, combined with a little chocolate and some berry flavor. At most fro-yo joints, the tart flavor is light and refreshing and just good. At Menchie's, there is something heavy about the tart flavor, too thick, and with a too-sour aftertaste. It tastes like the time I tried to make frozen yogurt at home by throwing a bunch of greek yogurt into my cuisinart ice cream maker... it's just too "yogurt-y" for lack of a better way to put it. I generally have to get the vanilla flavor when I go there because the tart is so bad, and so if I want the tart, I have to somewhere else. On the up side, though, If you are not a fan of tart original flavor fro-yo, you will be just fine at Menchie's! read more

The ice cream machine was broken at McDonald's (we were hankering for a chocolate dipped cone) and we'd just tried a new [to us] pizza restaurant, so we decided to give this place a whirl, too. Based on the pizza outing, we should have just gone home to our nice Baskin-Robbin Jamocha Almond Fudge and called it a night. But, having tried other frozen yogurt places (one in Silver Spring, MD; another in College Park, MD; one in Alexandria, VA; and one of our favorites, Bali's in San Luis Obispo, CA), we thought we'd be in for a treat. Yogurt was not that good (and I tried German chocolate cake, cake batter, and regular) and neither were the brownies (Little Debbies are better), chocolate caramels (which tasted like chocolate wax with bad caramel), or cut up strawberries (which, unsweetened, just tasted sour). The coconut and sprinkles were okay. Hubby accidentally got the tart (read yogurty-tasting) yogurt, so whatever his toppings were, he didn't really care for it. At over $8 for the two, just overpriced and not very good. (The other places were less expensive and the yogurt and toppers were all very good.) I went there one time and was got ham on by the worker there for speaking in a different language to my mom seeing how she doesn't know English and was asking her to see what she wanted and out of no where this lady comes by who works there was yelling at us about this is America and you only speak English here which was kind of surprising as I thought of one of those YouTube videos. As she keep yelling at us me and my mom ignored her and went on making a bowl of ice cream and with her boss coming out saying sorry and letting us take our bowls for free.
