Came here when we did a little shopping around North Bend outlet store. It's not just a chocolate store they also have different but limited selection of ice cream. The price point is high, and that can be the case with good quality chocolate. That being said we purchased one box of assorted chocolates to gift a friend before the holidays. This is my go to for tasty pecan caramel apples. The cut the apple up for you and bag them up nicely so you can snack on them while shopping, while on your way home or wait till you get there. I never made it home with mine. The store it self since covid no longer has seating, there a bench outside that you can sit at. The staff who helped me yesterday has been working there for years and was friendly and chatty. This is a great place to get ice cream too and you get to sample the flavors. Can't go wrong here. Was craving an apple from here so my husband drove ALL THE WAY THERE at 6 pm (online hours say they close at 7) just to see it closed with all lights off and no employees... disappointed to say the least. Either update your hours or finish your shift as posted. read more

My fiancé and I walked in while there were no other customers and were not acknowledged. The three employees stood at the front counter talking to each other. I made eye contact with two of them and they said nothing. We eventually left without being helped. A simple "We will be right with you" if they were super busy with something would have sufficed. Instead, three employees couldn't take a break from standing around talking. At least talk about something juicy if you're going to make us wait around. read more

I'm very picky about my chocolate. I have an affinity for dark chocolate but I don't come here for that. One of my weaknesses are caramel apples and they don't have a shortage of that here. That sweet caramel and the tart apple taste -- yummm sooo good! There are so many choices! Today, I chose the toffee chocolate caramel apple. They also make perfect dessert for when guests come over. Just slice them up into pieces and viola! Dessert! It also goes well on a charcuterie board. The staff here are professional. I wouldn't say they're exceptional friendly. Took a trip across the pass and found our selves at the outlet stores. I wondered into the chocolate shop just to take a look. The first thing to catch my eye was the wide variety of apples dipped in Carmel and chocolate and covered with multiple other topings. I went with the dipped in Carmel then chocolate. They sliced it for me and I ate it as I walked around the complex. I've been to the outlets numerous times but this was my first trip inside Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. I will definitely make it a point to stop back in the next time I'm through. The chocolate and the Carmel were delicious and I'll be back for more. read more

I went to this store at around 6:15 pm on a Saturday and they said they closed their coffee machines for the day. I was pretty disappointed and seeing no other coffee place in the mall,I ordered their hot chocolate. Again, pretty disappointed since it was pretty mediocre. The price for their 8 oz was okay so didn't care much. Definitely not going back. read more

I loooove coming here for dessert after kicking my butt on one of the nearby trails and hikes. The location is great as it's right by highway. They have a huge selection of delicious chocolate and different types of fudge. And my friends that are ice-cream fans really like that they have that there as well. Also, it's right at Premium Outlet mall, so it's a great spot to take a break from tiring shopping and get some energy in. :-) read more

This place is absolutely fantastic! Even for me, who doesn't like eating a lot of sugar. The staff are really friendly and accommodating even when you take forever to order (like I did lol). They slice your caramel apples for you and have a variety of truffles. Turns out they make a lot of their own stuff in the shop so a lot of it is fresh. When I went in the guy was making the fudge right there in front of in front of me! Sometimes if you come in early enough you can get cookies fresh out of the oven. Super super cool. We stopped in today for the first time in North Bend. The gals tried to rush our order and there was no one behind us. We ordered a few prices of chocolate a "mocha freeze" and a chai tea. We took our stuff got in the car and headed back on the highway. The chai tea has milk and foam in it, I ordered tea not a latte. The mocha freeze had no coffee in it. It was basically a frozen chocolate and over sugared shake. The mint chocolate was decent. The jelly stocks were filled with granulated sugar and were so sticky sweet we spit it out. As a lifelong chocolate fiend I have never met a chocolate treat I didn't like but this was gross....and we spent $18. Boo. read more

They rushed us out and even gave us an attitude and rolled their eyes at us when we wanted to pay for our items separately. THERE WERE ONLY TWO ITEMS. Yum!! I followed my mom in here before Christmas against my better judgement. I usually try to avoid these places because I know once I set my foot in the door I will have a meltdown!! The sights!! The smells!! Well, of course they had everything you could ever want dipped in white or milk or dark chocolate, drizzled and dipped into anything...every variety of sprinkle on a caramel apple, etc etc. What made me cave in (I know, twist my arm, right?) were the white chocolate dipped marshmallows on a stick, and the sugar free white peppermint bark!!! Their espresso is delicious! I don't know what it is they do to it, but it's richly flavored, never acid, and just a touch bitter. Their ice cream is also very good, with really nicely sized scoops. We usually get coffees and a caramel apple with peanuts to share and have never been disappointed. The people who work there have been there since as long as I've been going here, so over ten years. I used to come here for the apples after hiking Rattlesnake with my family as a little kid and that still hasn't changed. read more

I'm always excited when I see a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. The only thing is, I didn't even realize this was here my first two visits to the outlet mall. It's tucked back in a corner and you can't see it at all from certain angles. Some of my favorites from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory are their caramel apples, coconut haystacks, and chocolate covered strawberries. I find that these chocolate shops are uniform across the board which I really appreciate. On my last visit I got some maple walnut fudge (my FAVORITE) and an Italian soda. I wasn't sure which flavor I wanted since they didn't have peach and she suggested coconut lime. I'm glad she did because it was delicious. The fudge was just as good as always. The only thing I thought was a little odd about my last visit was the fudge was dated January 30th. I bought it March 7th. I'm not sure if that was the sell by or made date. Either way it's a little disappointing to buy over a month old hand wrapped in Saran Wrap fudge. I know this location doesn't get as much traffic and It still tasted fine but if I'm paying 7 dollars for a little block of fudge it probably should be fresh. Honestly I'd buy it again because it's the best and I'm hoping its a fluke. So I guess if you buy fudge check the date if you care. The girl working was really sweet. Ya the prices seem a little steep but it's a nice special place to get a treat. I'd recommend stopping by I've never been upset by my visits. read more

I love the Apple pie apple and have ordered it many times at other locations around the country. This is the second time I've visited this location and my apple was mushy. When you pay $8 for a caramel apple, the apple should never be mushy. They're also $1 more than locations in eastern Washington and Utah. Disappointing. read more

No stars! Worst chocolate I have ever experienced! Tried over a dozen different truffled and assorted chocolates, didn't finish one of them. Centers resembled flavor of cough syrup, chocolate waxy. Besides the wasted $32, we have a yucky film in our mouths and upset stomachs. So disappointed and not sure what the hype is about. The store presentation is nice and the salesperson was pleasant. We had enjoyed a white chocolate freeze while shopping, so we went back to get "goodies" for the ride home. Wish I had forgotten to go back! Save your self and your wallet! read more

I've been here before when I was younger and their chocolate and caramel apples are excellent, but this time when I brought my girlfriend they immediately started rushing us, causing us to both panic and leave without ordering anything. We would have bought something, but the fact that they were being so pushy and kept trying to get us to order immediately really upset us and was uncomfortable and off putting. read more

I work at this mall and every single time I've been in to get something on my break they are UNBELIEVABLY RUDE. They do not greet you when you wak in, didn't ask if I needed help with anything, and they shut down their espresso machine down at 8 pm when the mall closes at 9 pm. They absolutely no customer service. After repeated unpleasant experiences at this establishment I will make sure not to give my money to this overpriced chocolate store. read more
