I was told that I wasn't able to schedule in person at the office and was provided with a phone number and extension to call. Called the number and put on hold for 15 minutes. Person answered and said I dialed the wrong extension. I used the extension they provided. I advised the person I needed to schedule an appointment with Doctor Tsay for a EMG and I have a referral. She asked from what office and I told her. She said that the office I provided wasn't compatible with their system and I have to fax the referral to them. I said I was just at the Plumtree location why couldn't I have left a copy. She said it didn't work that way. So how am I supposed to fax it over when I don't have a fax machine. Something has to give with our medical system and people need to do their jobs. The system is failing. It's ridiculous to have to go through all these hoops to schedule an appointment. There are several locations and super convenient. I originally went to the Abingdon location, but ended up needed further treatment and was referred to Dr. Buchalter in the Lutherville/Timonium location. This location is easily accessible from the beltway. Lots of parking as well. Front the front office staff to the medical staff, everyone is pleasant and friendly. They really take the time to chat and make you comfortable. Very easy to make appointments as well. Very convenient hours available so you don't have to take off of work. Dr, Buchalter is wonderful! He listens and is very attentive. He explains things and really explores options with you. Fabulous bedside manner! Just a great person who truly cares about your concerns and needs. I appreciated how he explained the care and treatment plan. His PA is just as lovely. This is a great place for appointments or walk in. Highly recommend if in the need for orthopedic care.

While waiting to be seen, I was able to indulge I'm a little view of the Golden Girls tv show. I was taken back within 10 to 15 min. I was quickly accessed, taken back for x-rays and was quickly given a game plan for my knee. After I got my knee wrapped, I was able to check-out with ease and nake upcoming appointments. But, in his report, Dr. Innis wrote that I could not possibly have CRPS because 1. I laughed at his joke and people who are inpain never laugh and 2. I was very knowledgable about the condition and so was obviously faking it. What a moron. Of course I am knowledgable, I have had this for 2 years!! And I am never suppossed to laugh again? This condition is so painful it is known as the suicide disease. It is definetely an "if I don't laugh, I'll cry" situation. Doing my best to stay postive is the only way to get through this. I would definitetly not recommend this charlatan. He didn't even know what most of my prescriptions were or that cymbalta is not used solely for depression; it is also prescribed to treat chronic pain conditons. He is a fantastic doctor who really listens to you and your problems. As most doctors, sometimes he runs late haha but I think it's because he's personable to all his patients. He asks how you're doing, etc and he makes time to really listen without ever seeming like he's in a rush. It's worth the running late and I 100% recommend him to anyone.
