A creative way to see any city is on a segway! Having done this in Asheville, NC and St. Aug., FL we thought this would be fun to take the Art Segway in Austin, TX with the bridal party! The challenge was to avoid people walking on the sidewalks we were riding on too. People were very kind to us, parting to allow us thru (probably fearing for their lives..lol) and cars not hitting us as the 9 of us crossed roads. Our guide, Alejandra was very engaging and helpful as some in our party wanted to roam off the trails....the guys. The segways also have safety devices that shut the machine down if anyone gets to adventurous...ie..the guys...lol. So though THEY had a few spills no one left with broken bones. Greatly enjoyed seeing Hope Hill where there is continuing street art being created...much better on segway then trying to drive or park near it to see it!

Word to the wise, it's called "Segging." Wear comfy shoes, and girls make sure your hair isn't in a ponytail, 'cause you gotta wear a nerdy helmet. But seriously, these babies go 12.5 mph at top speed and you can see a lot in a short period time. Zipping down 6th St, then Congress Ave. and then grabbing some gelato at Paciugo before seeing the bats come out from under the Congress bridge (August is the best month) is a super enjoyable excursion. It's not for small kids or people with stability problems... or people who like to break the rules. If you aren't smart, you can hurt yourself on a segway. But you can also have a lot of fun.

My husband and I did the segway tour when we had moved to Round Rock and were still exploring the area. What better way to see Austin and on a segway at that? Before letting you on these bad boys, they explain how it works and do a test run inside their store. Then, you're on your own! Our guide was young and very informative. He brought us all around the downtown area, showed us some of the older (and HUGE) houses, hike & bike trail, and even made a 30 min pit stop to tour inside the Capitol. It was a beautiful day and it was fun to learn a little bit more about the city while on a segway. My brother and his gf at the time came down for spring break and made the mistake of taking this tour during SXSW so they got stuck in the crowds and got called "nerds" a few times with their helmets on their segways, but still had fun :o)

Had so much fun I can't wait to do it again! Family came into town and we thought this would be a fun thing to do for everyone. And we were right! "Riley the rider" our tour guide was informational and hysterical. We were all so glad we got him because he made it that much better. It was one of the best experiences I've ever had.

Just got done with a super fun Segway tour. Raymond was our positive, safety conscious, informative, accommodating guide. After signing a waiver form, we were given instructions on how to operate the Segway and practiced around the office until we felt comfortable to be on our way. It didn't take long to get comfortable on the Segway. I never felt nervous or unsure for my safety. It was a great way to take an informative tour of the city. I highly recommend taking the city tour with Seg City!

Raymond was so patient with our whole group from teenagers to grandma. We were able to see so much of Austin and he took photos of us all. Thank you for a wonderful day!

    Our amazing tour guide, Isis!

This was such a fun activity to do as a family! We visit Austin frequently and were looking to do something different with our twin 14 year old teenage boys. This was, by far, the best time our kids have had while visiting Austin (and that goes for the adults as well). We signed up for the 12:30 tour which after a brief training and practice outside- we set off with our tour guide. Isis was the best guide and it is obvious she truly loves what she does. Two hours went by in a flash as we zipped around downtown Austin and we left trying to figure out when we could come back to do another segway tour. Thanks! We will definitely be back.

Our Segway instructor was awesome - so fun, knowledgable, and kind! However, the woman at the counter, following the tour, did not honor the price I had been quoted over the telephone the day before. I was livid, and ended up paying the additional price; but felt this was very unprofessional.

    andy tran - awesome guide!

This is a whimsical escape game that took place in South Congress St in Austin. If you're down to get a bit silly in public and solve riddles while exploring the area, this is for you. Bring water, a hat, and good walking shoes - it can take up to 2 hours but is very fun with a group of 4. Also, make sure someone has strong internet connection - it is necessary for some of the clues. You only walk 2-3 blocks one way and there's plenty of places with shade and tables to rest in between, so it is very doable for anyone of any fitness level and the puzzles are accessible to all. Plus, Mission Control is responsive for when you're stuck and meets you in person throughout the experience! Very fun! And lucky for us, it was a cool-ish summer day, so not horrible for walking around. Become a master of time travel!

I was tasked to plan a fun team building activity for some out of town quests. So I thought this would be great as the weather here in Austin was cooling down to get outside of the box. As we know when it's hot here, it's super hot and that's just no fun at all. There were 12 of us, and we broke up into two groups and were each given a suitcase that we were tasked to do different adventures in East Austin. We were greeted by our tour guide, who gave us everything that we needed to make sure that we had an incredible afternoon. And we did. I could not recommend this more if you've got five or more people coming in I wanted to go out and have some fun in Austin. You'll make lots of memories have lots of laughs and see lots of things you may not have seen before. So don't be afraid that people are gonna be bored, because they won't. Lots of great memories :) thank you One more thing. You'll want to wear some shoes that are comfortable. As you will be doing some walking. Also - choose your end spot - the restaurant we had was not my favorite.

We were on the hunt literally for something fun, active, and a little outside the norm for our weekend. That's when we stumbled upon a local scavenger hunt experience right near home. It sounded like the perfect blend of movement and adventure so we signed up. Enter MJ, our energetic and enthusiastic Hunt Guide. From the moment we started, she was cheering us on, keeping the energy high, and encouraging us every step of the way. The two-hour hunt flew by. While we didn't manage to complete the entire list, we made up for it with a few fun bonus missions that boosted our final score. One of the most memorable moments? Walking into a dive bar on a mission to find a San Marcos native. The second we stepped in, the music didn't stop but it may as well have. Heads turned. It felt like we were aliens who accidentally landed in the middle of someone's regular Saturday scene. But, mission accomplished! We found a guy who looked like a leather-clad biker from a movie turns out, he was born and raised in San Marcos and couldn't have been more welcoming. The hunt turned into more than just a game. We discovered hidden corners of the city, chatted with locals, and learned that San Marcos is not just a great college town it's somewhere we would've loved to have spent our college years. What really stood out was the variety of activities throughout the hunt each one pushed us just a little out of our comfort zone and made us laugh, connect, and enjoy being in the moment together. If you're looking for a unique way to explore a city, meet new people, and get moving, I can't recommend this hunt enough. We're already eyeing Kit Kat's other hunts in different cities!
