Kevin and his team at Seib Construction really go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction!   Earlier this year my kitchen took a major hit when a water filter leak took out half of my cabinets and a big swatch of drywall, flooring, and wall moldings.  As if that weren't bad enough, the 1st contractor I hired to "demolish" and rebuild the damaged areas completely screwed up the rebuild portion of the work, and I had to call around looking for other contractors to finish the work. Fast forward a couple of months - after talking to a dozen or so contractors, and meeting with a couple who talked the talk but couldn't walk the walk, I found Seib Construction and hired them to finish rebuilding my kitchen. After Kevin and I agreed on the scope of the work, he delivered a time and costs estimate.  Because his company specializes in building and rebuilding custom kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, the good news was that the lion-share of the rebuild and refinishing work would be completed in Seib's shop.  The bad news was that doing the work offsite minimized my inconvenience, but it didn't make completing the project any faster - such is Life in the Fast Lane ;-) Throughout the project, Kevin had to coordinate multiple visits to my house by three different teams.  The work was finally finished last month, and the kitchen actually looks better than it did before the water damage happened.  I'm now a totally happy camper, and have no hesitation about recommending Kevin and his team to anyone looking for a quality contractor to rebuild or remodel their kitchen. read more

I live in a condo where the cabinets were the basic ones. It was time for an update. I do what I do and go to Yelp. I see all the amazing reviews. I set up a few appointments for my husband. He liked Seib the most. Price was comparable. But, that didn't matter. I will say they did do good work. However, communication from the beginning was not even there. Luckily for them I had my husband do the communicating. Literally everything from setting up someone to come out to measure. There were issues with some of the doors and they needed to be fixed and it's been months. First the guy was sick. That's fine, I get it. But, no one even called to tell us. I live by my calendar so when someone messes with my schedule, it irritates me. Then when I reach out, I am told I will contact you tomorrow with availability. Tomorrow came and went and there are 2 cabinets with no doors. I finally reached out and said "where are my cabinets?" My husband owns a business and I am in sales. There's no way I could leave my customer hanging over and over again. Kevin Seib was so good about correcting and adjusting any areas of concern before moving forward with the next steps of the project . We had water damage and for some strange reason Triple A recommended Seib construction to put our kitchen and living room back together. Most of the work was satisfactory, up until the flooring. Kevin recommended some travertine tile. Granted I didn't know much about remodeling and we did have a budget, I trusted Kevin's advice. He called me to say it was finished and come check it out. Just about half the tiles were uneven in height. Some were literally uneven enough to cause someone to trip. He told me he'd fix it. I went to review again after it was fixed, and it was still really bad. He calls me a few days later saying it was fixed. What his guys ended up doing was grinding our tile, without even sealing off the area. My young daughter's room was covered in dust, even though it was upstairs and the door was closed. Kevin did man up to it, and paid out of his own pocket to get my place professionally cleaned of the dust. That was two years ago. The tile he recommended now has completely fallen apart. He originally sent his guy out to patch up some of the holes, as apparently this is expected with travertine tile. I've done it myself as well, but it is really a lost cause. After this fiasco, Kevin did offer to redo the floor from scratch. Since we were out of our home for so long, due to the series of errors, our insurance was no longer covering our hotel, and we just needed the nightmare to end. Looking back, I should have taken him up on the offer, because we are getting ready to move, and we have to replace the flooring. A couple other notes potentially customers should be weary of: - He never asked me to pick out my actual granite slabs originally. His guys randomly picked some slabs. He did make up for this by uninstalling the slabs, and reinstalling the ones we picked. - His granite people cut the slabs outside of my home, and spread dust all over my neighbors cars and all over the street - His granite people had serious communication issues all around. I asked for a discount (he never offered) after all was said and done, and he gave me some minuscule amount. I would never in a million years recommend this guy to anyone. read more

After a flood in our kitchen Kevin Seib of Seib Construction provided an estimate to the insurance company to refurbish / rebuild our kitchen cabinets. He provided a realistic estimate that was not a low-ball and we were able to add about 10% to have Kevin build and install custom cabinets. Kevin is a licensed cabinet maker and general contractor and he has a 7000 Sq foot workshop. We are extremely happy with the job Kevin performed to rebuild our kitchen. The cabinets he built provide much more storage space than the old cabinets and the stain finish on alder looks like a fine furniture finish, but durable. He uses the highest quality hardware and everything fits well and works great. He worked with us to design the cabinets and he provides excellent computer drawn design drawings that made it easy to visualize the final product and make changes as desired. With his experience he is able to make insightful suggestions. Working with Seib construction was a pleasure. What an excellent experience it is working with Seib Construction! I wanted to write this review during our process because having a kitchen flood and rebuilding it is stressful. Kevin, Larry, and the team have taken that stress away with their dedication to excellence! Our insurance company sent Seib out to decide if our water-soaked cabinets could be rebuilt. Larry came and inspected everything and worked with our insurance on an estimate for repair versus rebuild. After meeting with Larry, I knew this was the company I wanted to rebuild our kitchen. Kevin came out to make drawings of our dream kitchen. As I talked with Kevin, he completely understood what I envisioned, made the best recommendations, and designed an amazing kitchen. Last week, the cabinets were put in. They are perfect! I looked briefly at the first few cabinets but then had other work to do. When I returned to the kitchen after the first day of work, I was immediately in love with the beauty and craftsmanship. What is truly impressive is that the team reviews everything with the most critical eye. If there is any slight issue, they have already seen it, will point it out to you, and tell you what will be done so it is perfect. For example, our wall is not straight on one side. We noticed a slight gap. When the carpentry part of the installation was done, we did not have to point this out. The carpenter, Israel, told us the next steps, pointed it out, and said they would be adding some molding to that spot and every matching spot. Basically, he told us how they would make our kitchen perfect! It is hard to put into words how comforting it has been to work with a company that we can completely trust, but I have felt that way from the first day with Seib. Recommended by our Insurance Company, AAA, after a slab leak damaged our cabinets. This was the only company who said they could rebuild the damaged cabinets and save our countertops. After sever meetings with Kevin, the owner, we decided to hire him, and we decided to go with a new kitchen, but save the existing counter top. This is not a easy undertaking. The existing sink was slightly sagging, which they were able to repair. Tony did the work for our kitchen, and the quality and workmanship is top quality custom cabinets. Excellent communications and great ideas from both Kevin and Tony. During the build, tony came up with some great suggestions and solutions. We specifically wanted a company that could carefully preserve the existing granite countertop and they were able to do just that - building a scaffolding below and removing the cabinets below that were damaged carefully and restoring them to match the original dark cherry wood color. SEIB did a great job refurbishing and rebuilding my water damaged bathroom cabinets. I had a slow leak inside my wall for years . A remediation crew found it and ripped out my water damaged wood cabinets on one side of the bathroom. The other side was untouched. SIEB came out and reassured me they could match them up. Great work. Long story short, through insurance, they redid my drywall, painted, installed cabinetry, installed wall tiling, and installed shower doors due to a leak in the restroom. They did it to both the master and other bathroom. Freddy was a great worker and extremely friendly. He communicated with me well and I understood what was going on at all times. Had my whole house destroyed from broken water pipe under house. Home had to be completely gutted and rebuilt. I met Kevin through my insurance carrier and was really fortunate he was the one referred to me. After 8 months of construction, Kevin not only did what he promised, but went over the top to please my wife and I doing things he didn't have to do. Seib has been great. We have had a very stretched out schedule as we were waiting until Covid "went away" before actually starting the work. They were willing to work on our schedule. Obviously we went ahead recently and trusted our safety. Everyone was masked all the time and always here when they said they would be. We had some cabinets that had to be replaced with custom ones due to water leaks so we replaced all the countertops and fixtures also and had 3 windows retrofitted which were 50 years old.
