Brought my Fossil watch in for a replacement battery. The woman who serviced the watch told me to be careful about getting the watch wet or near moisture, which I thought a bit strange. A few days later, I found that after watering some outdoor plants, that my watch was full of moisture that was visible through the glass piece. I brought my watch to Fossil at South Coast Plaza, they examined the watch and informed me that the rubber seal that sat inside the watch had been removed. When I asked why, Fossil informed me that it was probably done because the seal is not always easy to put in place properly, after the battery has been replaced. Very DISHONEST that "Time Zone" did this without my permission, knowledge, and thereby placing my watch in jeopardy! read more

The guy took my seiko watch for battery change and it worked just few weeks. I went back to ask why it doesn't move, and the owner guy told me that it must be because my watch is old and he may have to clean it up. I asked how much that would be and told me extra $30+ if I remember correctly. I was like forget it, as he said even that may not guarantee of my watch to be working. I felt like he stole my money for changing the watch battery as he charged me to change the battery and I still can't use the watch. If the owner is indeed skilled and honest worker, he could easily identify the problem from the first visit and told me that perhaps the battery change is not what I needed. I definitely do not recommend this place. Look for another. read more

This watch maker knows his stuff. I think his wife also works there helping customers, she's very friendly. I brought in an older seiko new turtle to have mods parts from DLW put in. His prices were very reasonable, and he turned the watch around very quickly. The quality of the work is excellent and I will certainly be back. read more

This is a family owned business to start off with! And I love it more because of that. My boyfriend and I were helped by a father-son duo and to say they were sweet is an understatement. They were so meticulous answering our questions and showing us watch options based on our original desires. They even played with my dog to free up our hands. We ended up walking out with a watch for each of our mom and one for my boyfriend. They were super quick with the adjustments and gave us tips if we need more adjustments at home. My Seiko Shogun (Ref. SBDC029) was running -25 seconds slow per day. Frank was able to regulate it to +4 seconds per day. Simply amazing! Frank took great care when working with my watch- he didn't scratch the case back (I was worried about this), or leave any other unwanted signs of entry. Frank is an honest guy who provides great service, and they have a pretty good selection of Seiko divers, Citizen and G-Shock watches in store. After waiting for another customer ahead of me, the woman behind the counter took my watch to replace the battery and within 2 to 3 minutes was finished! I usually don't leave reviews, but the service and quality that I received here was so great, I had to say something. And it's always great to support local small businesses. I dropped off my Seiko SKX007 diver to get it's Crystal replaced. I also had issues with the bezel being locked up. I was quoted a reasonable price by Frank. I dropped it off Saturday morning. I called Monday morning to get an update and Frank told me it was already finished! When I picked it up, the watch looked amazing! He was even able to fix my mistake of trying to replace the bezel insert myself. I accidentally installed it crooked, but Frank was able to level it out. Great service, and reasonably priced. I can't say how excited I was to pick up my watch. I have an older 60's era Seiko that I inherited from my grandfather. It was beat, scratch crystal, no crown left to turn and the bracelet needed help. They were able to find all the vintage parts to fix it and bring some really nice vintage look back to the watch! Really great experience here. I was looking for a replacement business watch for the rolex I recently sold as working from home has made it an infrequently required tool. Had seen some of the nice new seikos on the internet, but no where other than this shop had a good selection. They had all of the seikos i was seeing online available to check out in person and try on (and several other competitive brands). Was one new one in particular I was looking for and they were the only shop I could find anywhere around to have it. Really nice, helpful, and patient even though the shop was busy. They seemed to be juggling serving multiple customers at once while giving us all enough personal attention. Can't speak enough of how impressive that was. On top of all this, they also had a price better than i was seeing online (and very few shops even had stock). They helped fit the link sizing, saving the frustration of doing it myself. And i got to walk out of the shop same day wearing my new watch. We all have gotten so used to buying stuff online, that it's easy to forget the value of a really good old fashioned family owned small business. I brought my newly purchased secondhand Kate Spade watch in to get a new battery. I peeled the protective plastic off the backing minutes before taking my watch into the shop and it was returned to me scratched and crooked. The battery replacement cost $10 so I suppose I got what I paid for but the scratches are pretty deep. Thankfully they are only on the back... this is probably a great option for less expensive watches but I'm a bit distraught since mine was fairly expensive. The service was very fast (probably a bit to fast considering the damage) but the employees were very kind. read more

I have a Seiko Solar watch that needed a rechargeable battery and I could not find anyone to replace it. After searching on the Internet I found the Time Zone and called them to give them my movement ID and they ordered a battery and the next day they called me to say the battery is ready. I immediately drove to their beautiful store and this place is spectacular. I identified myself and was told it would be $45 to replace the battery. I was told that over the phone and within 15 minutes it was done. They set the time, day and date and my watch was back on my wrist. This watch travelled the world with me and it was only $200 when I bought it 17 years ago. I was told the movement was in great shape, they blew air on it to further clean it and I was told to leave it in the sun for a few hours. I want you to know this family business is so great, honest, kind and very knowledgeable. I took several of their business cards and will be back with several of my friends who have similar problems with their watches. I have tried tons of other places to get the band on my Hamilton fixed. VERY specific issue and even Hamilton "authorized service" dealers were telling me it was not repairable. Here, they not only were able to fix it, but a polishing has it looking brand new. Frank is a real professional. I brought my Seiko SKX013 in to get the crystal and hands replaced. After inspecting my watch he quickly noticed that my bracelet was fitted incorrectly and that my rotating bezel was a little loose. He assured me that he would have it fixed. When I came to pick up my watch it was PERFECTION. Even better than when I brought it in. The new sapphire crystal and mercedes hands look amazing. The bracelet and bezel worked much better too.
