A Friday morning ritual for me to come down and get a lox bagel and a chai tea latte. They truly do have yummy bagels and the lox sandwich is amazingly huge. They don't skimp on the lox, cream cheese, or capers. The chai is the best you'll ever taste. One thing I like about this place is the friendly employees, they are very organized, and the food doesn't take very long to get (which is important when you are on a limited time lunch hour) . A great group of people work here. They're friendly, helpful, and patient. Having a hear staff sets Seize the Bagel apart from an average place. Ordering is easy. Bagels are good. Desserts are good. We've been here a lot in the past few months. Most of the time it is great. The bacon and chive cream cheese is amazing. They don't seem to cut the bagels down the middle. It always seems to be at an odd angle. They don't ever seem to toast it fully either, so it can be a bit chewy. Sometimes they evidently use the same knife to cut each bagel because my cheddar bagel tastes like snickerdoodle.. read more

I seriously love the food but I get it to go and I'm not exaggerating when I say they mess up my order 3 out of 4 times! I've even got in the habit of checking before leaving and catch it most of the time but today I got home and it was the wrong cream cheese. Soooo frustrating. One person writes your order down, and another person puts it together. I don't get fancy with substitutions or anything. If there were other local bagel shops near me I would switch solely based on this frustration. Ordered from here thru doordash. I did the build your own sand which bagel. (Tuna) being able to choose my meat choose my toppings was just the beginning of the greatness. I actually liked the bagels here, opposed to other revievers. They weren't anything extra special but they were much better than store bought bagels (including the fresh bakery ones). They have great prices for most things in my opinion and I could see myself stopping in for a quick breakfast if it were in a more convenient location for me. I got an Asiago bagel with cream cheese. I opted for plain, but they had many flavors and spread to choose from. My hubby got an chicken and cheese stick. I had no complaints with the bagel, besides that it was not even warm even though it had been toasted. The creamcheese was the whipped variety and they slathered it on generously. The chicken and cheese stick came hot, but hubby wasn't impressed with the filling. Virtually no cheese, instead there was just a thin cheese sauce that was barely visible. The mushrooms were all crammed at the bottom of the stick, but there was a lot of chicken. He gave it a 3 for flavor and declared it "okay". Service was okay. We got a greeting. It was our first time so we looked at the whole menu and took our time. The woman at the county watched and waited. No advice offered, didn't ask if we needed a few mins. Could have been worse, but would have appreciated an introduction to the restaurant and some tidbits about their food. I've been here a few times and I get the bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich every time but on different bagels. If I were rating just the bagels I would probably give them 4 stars. I asked for the bagels to be toasted every time. Sometimes they're perfectly toasted and sometimes barely toasted. Today I decided to try their fresh squeezed grapefruit juice. I make a lot of fresh juice at home and could tell immediately that it was not fresh squeezed. The juice was so sweet and pasteurized. It tasted like Simply juice. I asked if I grabbed the juice from the wrong tray. They said the juice is fresh squeezed at the company they purchase it from, and the company bottles the juice and ships it to their store. If they add sugar, bottle and pasteurize the juice, it's not considered fresh squeezed. The label on the bottle probably says Simply Grapefruit, which they also sell. I paid $4 for a glass of their so call "fresh squeezed grapefruit juice" when I could have bought a big bottle of Simply Grapefruit for the same price. I like to support local businesses but calling the bottled juice fresh squeezed is false advertising. Won't be coming back. read more

I get up at 4:45 am for work. Seize the Bagel is open and I respect them for that. Pros: They are open at 5 am and awake and friendly. Pretty much what I need. Reasonable prices. Great atmosphere. Cons: Not very good coffee. Had grounds in it and was kind of weak. Way too much cream cheese. read more
