We recently went to Bob Jeannotte's dealership on Sheldon in Northville, MI for an oil change…read more They changed the oil but then told my wife that we had a stabilization bar that had rusted thru, but it wasn't something they could fix. They showed her 3 pictures of what they found and said this would affect the overall quality of our ride and to expect knocking, squeaks and bumpiness moving forward. She had them text her the pictures before leaving and we made an appt w our mechanic to get a second opinion. He put our SUV up on his lift and also took pictures to compare against what Jeannottes had given us. Not only was there nothing wrong with our vehicle, but the pictures that Jeannotte's had given us were not even of our vehicle!! ????????? Um what? So Jeannotte created a fake issue with our SUV, provided pictures of a different vehicles issues saying it was ours, said it wasn't something that could be fixed. For what? Is this a new sales tactic to try and get someone to buy a replacement vehicle? Talk about a fraudulent dealer experience. Do not go to Bob Jeannotte dealership on Sheldon in Northville, MI. They lie, they deceive their customers, they try to take advantage of people, they take pictures of other vehicles issues and try to pass them off as yours. Do not trust Bob Jeannottes. Do not buy a vehicle from them. Do not have them service your existing vehicle. They are fraudulent and cannot be trusted. Shame. Shame. Shame.

If it hadn't been for the referrals of my Pastor and his family, I would have been skeptical. Lucas more than exceeded my expectations!! Over a period of a couple of weeks I had multiple questions trying to make a decision between leasing and buying and doing a trade-in versus selling my vehicle myself. Luca was extremely patient and always timely in his response. Every time I called or texted Luca he immediately responded and was always very courteous and patient ....The amazing part is that I live out in Pinckney, Michigan and the dealership is in Plymouth and I never had to make a trip to the dealer. I am very happy with the lease on my new explorer and love the car! On a very slippery snowy day, the dealership brought the car out to my house this afternoon. Lucas stopped by my home in the early evening and took the time to go through the car with me. I have never experienced service like this before! If I could give him a 10+, I would!! Who takes advantage of a young boy like that purchasing his fist vehicle. I only wish his dad was here to have helped him make a better decision.

Sadly, it came down to the competitive trucks as my choices. I landed on the Ford Ranger as my final choice. I shopped two other Ford dealers before landing at Blackwell. I was fortunate to get Cary Crouch when I called. Cary was terrific to work with, and he quickly met my purchase needs. In fact, everyone at Blackwell were great (including Derek in finance) and the store itself is one of the nicest Ford dealerships in the area. I highly recommend Blackwell Ford and Cary Crouch for vehicle purchases.

This review encompasses my experience from the past year. Awful dealership. Almost 2 months out of…read morethe 11 months I have owned this vehicle that I bought from Blackwell ford has it not been in my possession. Instead, it's been sitting at the service center at Blackwell Ford or the Traverse City service center. I truly was so excited to go to Blackwell as they have seemingly taken care of my grandparents, my parents, etc. Unfortunately, like most things these days...it is all just a money grab. I bought my used car from them and that was that. Within 6 days of owning my 2020 ecosport, the check engine light came on. Now, this was something they could not have foreseen, but when I took it in it was days upon days before I finally got it back. At least I got a loaner vehicle and they did comp that- which was nice of them. I will say the service center and Derek who does the warranty work there, they are all great! Then, I go for a drive to Ohio so I'm a few hours away and it got hot that day...tried to turn on the air. Nothing. Air conditioning is broken. So we call up there...they set up an appointment for this past Monday. I drop off my vehicle and it is at first a question of if we will have to pay anything...we go to our sales guy, who it isn't worth mentioning his name as he has now retired. This guy, who has always been helpful in the past...except for now...that we have signed on the dotted line and already purchased. He says anything to do with paying for it is out of his hands and goes on to say that is why he always recommends getting a warranty...thank you for your wisdom and your incredible customer service. I got a warranty already, but it didn't cover these things, but as all of this has happened within 20-30 days on a seemingly great vehicle I figured they'd want to help out a loyal customer. Tuesday goes by and they still haven't even LOOKED at my vehicle. It isn't until Wednesday, two days after my appointment that they even take a look to determine what is going on. Then they have to order a part (imagine if they had just looked on Monday) and it gets in yesterday, Thursday. We get a call to let us know that it should be ready to go but within an hour they call to let us know other vehicles being worked on are taking longer...it won't be ready until Friday. I end up calling and as nicely as possible in this frustrating situation, tell them that they have absolutely messed up my work week. Within another two hours we get a call to let us know it's ready for pick up. They ended up not charging me anything...which again, they shouldn't for something they missed in the first place...but the best part? We had also asked them to fix my driver side window...about every 10 times or so it gets stuck and it won't go up or down...they didn't even try to diagnose that and as I drove away it got stuck, telling me they didn't even care. I leave this review because to me...people should understand that this dealership is not what it used to be. They do not take pride in their vehicles, nor the customers that they sell to. My vehicle is still not right, and I wish so badly I could just return it and go elsewhere but I am stuck with a 20k loan and a $350 payment a month for a vehicle I've hardly even driven. Please be cautious when working with this dealership because I wish I could go back in time and go literally anywhere else. UPDATE 5/9/2025 - car completely broken down and has a destroyed engine while on vacation 4 hours from home. This took over 33 days to get fixed and I still have not seen reimbursement after sending in a 14 page document to ford customer service.
