Haidee has been exceedingly patient, kind, and creative in helping me shore up issues with my shoulders, back, and feet. Thank you, Haidee, for working so hard to improve my quality of life! The office location is conveniently located close to 101. The office itself is quiet and clean.

Haidee is such a great physical therapist. She helped me through a very severe knee injury /…read moresurgery and due to atypical body mechanics I was born with , I became a challenging case. Any other PT would have given up or checked out but Haidee would think of my situation outside of our sessions. She really cared about my improvement and truly listened to me. She happened to be taking some classes during the course of our sessions together and Haidee asked her professors about how to apply the curriculum to my case. She came back with ideas on things to try that ended up actually working instantly. I was completely shocked by this but was so grateful for her taking the time outside of her work and schooling to contemplate my struggles and the best way to move forward with her newfound knowledge. Haidee is very professional, compassionate and personable. I come from an athletic background so I would get frustrated with myself when I lost all my muscle mass due to the surgery and couldn't do the things I could usually do. Being the lighthearted person she is, she made it easy to laugh through it and made it so much easier to get through my frustrations. She would cheer me on and be excited for me when I could finally do it. Being coached my whole life, this is exactly what I needed for my mental motivation. I feel so blessed to have been paired with Haidee. I made great improvements thanks to her even considering how unusual my case was. She never gave up on me and got me to where I am today. I highly recommend seeing her as your physical therapist!

Let me share with you a review that not many people may have the oppportunity to experience. Starfish Therapies provides pediatrics physical therapy to children under 3 years old with disabilities. My daughter has been getting services from them in past weeks and they are 100% pleasant to work with, and at the same time- effective. They recently brought in equipement from Europe to the US, and is positively making an impact. They are real people. http://www.starfishtherapies.com/

Stacy seemed irritated and distracted for almost all of the visits. I left most of the visits filled with fear that my newborn was not meeting its milestones because of what Stacy said or meant indirectly when my LO was not able to perform a skill. She was impatient enough to always leave the appointment after 20 mins, when my LO was tired. Even on repeatedly asking her to measure the asymmetry, Stacy would procrastinate it and say "next time". It looked like all Stacy was looking for was more future visits so she could get more money from us and the insurance. The last visit with us, she left us feeling flabbergasted after mentioning helmet and that my 5 mo failing to meet its milestones. I switched over to Mills PT in San Mateo and they cleared us after the second visit itself.

After a sudden onset of neck and shoulder pain, my sports medicine…read moredoctor referred me to physical therapy, and I am so incredibly glad I found West Bay Sports Medicine. Joey (Joseph Livelo) was my physical therapist, and he was absolutely amazing in guiding my healing journey. Beyond being highly knowledgeable, personable, and easy-going, Joey takes a wonderfully pragmatic approach to care. He designed a program with exercises that were easy for me to stick to, thoughtfully evolving the routine as I progressed to edge me closer to full recovery. I genuinely looked forward to our weekly sessions! It has now been four months since my last visit, and I still do a set of the exercises Joey gave me every single morning to maintain my physical well-being. Beyond the excellent care from Joey, every single person I interacted with at the West Bay Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation Center was super nice and welcoming. As an added bonus, the office has its own parking lot, making visits completely stress-free. If I ever need physical therapy again in the future, I would return to West Bay Sports Medicine in a heartbeat. I highly recommend them!

So, here's the deal…read more.. I'm not one of those Burlingame trophy wives who has tennis elbow - I hurt my back slinging 80 lb. bags of concrete and 92.5 lb. bags of lye in a lumberyard at the height of summer in Georgetown, Texas. Your tennis elbow can suck it. That said, these people are effective at what they do. They make you work. You feel like you've done something that will actually help your condition, whatever that may be. This is unlike all other physical therapists where they have you do a couple stretches and maybe six minutes on a treadmill and you never break a sweat. Which is good. Further, Marie (I can't remember her name), is awesome at suggesting new activities and mixing it up so it doesn't get boring. They give you the tools you need to get better. What is not good about STA? They seem to double and triple book their patients so much so that the least amount of time I've spent there is one and a half hours. The maximum amount of time I've spent there is three hours and five minutes. My treatment on average takes an hour forty-five to three hours. The employees run around and bust ass, but they never seem to catch up. As someone who is working full time and is trying to make appointments after work to find a place to live in the Bay Area, this doesn't work for me. I can do an hour and thirty minutes, but any longer and it just feels gratuitous. Also, if you are going to take the time to put thirty-seven signs that say "NO WHINING" all over the walls, take your own goddamn advice and stop bitching about how you have sooooo many patients and you aren't gonna make it to the ball game. We have lives too.
