It turns out Raffel and crew incorrectly installed some vinyl siding panels. No space was left between some windows and panels and nails were not correctly fastened. In fact, one piece of siding wasn't even nailed!!!! Totally insane. On top of it all, they didn't flash my chimney. There are far too many roofing and siding people who won't cut corners like Raffel did. They are extremely poor value, dishonest and not trustworthy. I happened to catch their crooked work.

Additionally, portions of my roof are flat and there were a couple of unexpected issues due to shortcuts taken by previous roofers. Larry, the owner of AllWays, does not take shortcuts and ensures that the work is done properly. He had his crew strip all of the old, shoddy materials from these sections of roof and rebuild them to provide better drainage. In addition to the roof, Larry saved my old shed by replacing all of the rotted wood, added a new roof and doors, and installed siding, making the shed look brand new. I contracted this company in 2017 to do some major renovations in my very first property I owned. I…read morenever had lived in a house before, and to me everything was so new. I had very limited experience with contractors. This company won me over but guaranteeing their work and servicing for "several years". Here is my opinion of them, after a year and a half since they "finished" their work: 1. quality of work: - POOR. They try to do many things "in-house", where their same workers being universally skilled at almost everything and therefore masters at nothing. Quality is from INTERMEDIATE to POOR. Many things had to be re-done, The would break one thing while fixing another, they keep creating more problems as they go along. They would also mislead me into believing that they do certain types of work (electric floor heating) , when they had no experience at all. They did not properly size the area, and installed electric wiring in the floor in a very unsafe and inefficient way, which caused the thermostat to trip. They persuaded me to install the electrical heated floors in the areas, that will never require it, simply due to physics. 2. Third Party Contracting: For come of the work they would hire another company. For the most part they would do the cheapest, low quality work, that would need to be re-done, due to safety concerns. For example they hired a company to install stairs. The quality was so bad, that the steps would start collapsing. I had to warn them of impending injury and wait for a while for them to get it repaired. 3. Procrastination / Abandonment: Even after I repeatedly warned them to winterize the house plumbing, they failed to do it and caused damage to the house. They also failed to secure /remove construction garbage /debris from my property, (despite my repeated warnings) which flew through out the neighborhood and cause me to get multiple violations from the village. They would also disappear for weeks, in the middle of work. I would later find out that they work on another property. 4. Price vs Quality: As I mentioned the quality ranged from MEDIUM to LOW, but the fees they charged where on par with very nicely done, expensive professional work. 5. Warranty. They did not honor their promise and about 8-9 months after they finished, I started having plumbing issues (they installed plumbing). They dont respond to repeated WhatsUp messages or the phone texts or calls. But the funny thing is that I dont trust them, so I rather pay someone else to fix it, rather having them come over and risking them break something else. In summary, I would definitely not recommend Royalties International Inc.

Brian provided printed contract, naming foreman on site at all times, but Brian was also present several times during the job. Work crew was professional and completed a through clean-up. We have had no problems with the roof/skylights anywhere to date (Jan 2024). The only disappointment was the company used for gutters. They did not clean-up adequately. Pieces of metal were found in the yd for several weeks after they left. They used young workers and their work should be supervised closely before you pay them. We have NO reservations recommending Safe Choice as long as Brian is the owner.

I needed to replace my roof and called several contractors. A few never returned my calls and one contractor after two meetings never brought ay materials for me to select colors for shingles. Two contractors measured the roof by walking around my house, never did anyone go on the roof with a ladder to investigate any additional work that might be needed. Both contractors were interested in under bidding their competitor to get the job. Finally, in asking about licensing requirements to begin work, I was told it wasn't really necessary. The project manager, Mr. Vincent Cueva was extremely helpful by explaining materials to be used , time line, licensing requirement and the selection colors of shingles. When t came to cost, I need not tell you that replacing a roof is expensive. Mr. Cueva worked with us and made it affordable to have this project completed without financing. The workers were neat and reliable. After the job was completed, Mr. Cueva continued to check with us about any concerns we may have about the roof.
