We had…read morebeen on a rollercoaster of a ride with everything that had gone on and were worse for the wear when it came to coming to terms with care for my mom. We had no idea what to expect because it happened all so fast. 365 came in and took over care from another service at the suggestion of the family doctor. From the moment they came to access and determine a plan of action, they were nothing but caring and supportive. They understood what me and my family were dealing with and were doing what they were trained to do to help us cope. They weren't with us a long time, but the time that they were with us they helped my mom the best they could and made my family feel like people again. We weren't given any answers we weren't prepared to handle and they answered them with grace. Even when it came to dealing with my dad who can be a bit crass at times and you have to wrangle him in. Eventually, and this should come as no shock if you understand what hospice care is, they were there with us at the end. They handled it with the utmost respect and allowed my family and I to take it in and grieve. I can't say enough of how graceful they were. You have to be a special kind of person to be in this line of work. My family and I are very grateful that we had who we had when we needed them.

Thank God there are better hospice groups in cambria County. Dad can't do anything now and that's how 365 left us!

I was transferred to Latrobe Hospital from Westmoreland Hospital. The difference was like night and…read moreday. The staff at Westmoreland were mean. Not helpful at all. I needed a bed change and the blue haired nurse said she would be back as she left the room. An hour later my niece came in and I told her that I wasn't being taken care of. She said she passed the blue haired nurse sitting in the nurses station. My niece changed my bed for me. I asked for a new IV bag because it was finished. She said no it's not ordered. Bull! I know I needed lots of fluid since I wasn't allowed to drink. The PA badgered me. Saying that if I didn't get contrast for an CT scan I would have to leave the hospital against medical advice. She said no other hospital would take me without using the contrast. It was elder abuse! Well at 3 AM I was transferred to Latrobe Hospital. I thought I was in heaven. The employees (mostly nurses) were helpful and kind. They took care of me without the bit--ing of the WH. If ever I need an Emergency Room visit it will not be Westmoreland hospital. I'm done with them! Latrobe Hospital is wonderful. The nurses couldn't have been more helpful. They settled my nerves by treating me with respect.

I was treated very well, and if I had a choice, this would be the hospital I would prefer to go to every time.

The ID that was on the screen I saw and there was no change in my looks on the ID, so I had to leave and bleed all over my friend's car because those who say Icare really don't care. They defiantly need to change this policy or the name to ID care only even if they have your ID on file because if they cared since it was emergency they could have stitched me up unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this place if you have an emergency if you're bleeding and don't have your identification on you. Do yourself a favor and go to the ER you wait a little longer and use the ID they have on file. Thank you, Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center my trip from the Icare to the ER was longer than my wait.
