I have gotten three piercings from this shop before although I haven't returned in over a year none of the same people are still there that I trusted but assumed that the quality of the jewelry used would stay the same as I've never had a reaction before . i went to go back to get my septum piercing unfortunately the next day I had developed allergic reaction such as my face turning red in spots my face was extremely swollen and many more gross symptoms . I was not briefed on aftercare nor did she tell me what gauge was in my nose and what kind of metal she used . That's the least you can do as a piercer... and the energy in the shop was very off . I trusted this Shop for many years and after returning after a year I will never go back again and I hope customers along the line don't experience what i am going through . please ask questions before getting body modifications! read more

Had my septum pierced. It was visually obvious before she even sat me up that it was BEYOND CROOKED. Apologies and I get it...mistakes happen. She told me to let it close up and I could come back and it'd be fine for free that time. Fast forward a month later-Owner refused to let me get it RE-done at no cost. I've driven down twice now from Covington for this shit and he isn't even going to stick by their mistake? Gave him more than one chance to "run his business with integrity" and "set it right w the universe". Nope. Should've known when they were tattooing someone so spun out it was no good. Trashy. Let me start off by saying this is the WORST place to get a piercing EVER and if I could give them negative stars I would! My husband and I travel a lot, we have been to different tattoo/body mod shops all over the US. I have had my lip/tongue/ears/both eyebrows pierced and I have NEVER seen the things that took place the day we came here. It was our anniversary and my husband had been saying for a while he wanted his lip pierced. Not being from here and making the mistake of listening to Google and what I can assume were "good" reviews we stopped in here. The lady that helped us was an older lady, can't remember her name. We told her my husband wanted his lip pierced and to make sure she places it correctly so he can put a ring in it once healed. The lady seemed very friendly but pretty sure she rolled her eyes at me a few times. The jewelry they use is also stained which is TERRIBLE for new piercings. Once we picked out the ring my husband wanted he got in the chair and the HORROR began. This lady even after asking what gauge he wanted(which was odd to me) she still managed to not only grab but also pierce him with a 16 gauge apposed to a 14 like my husband picked out. Instead of just getting the right jewelry size and leaving it SHE PROCEEDS to grabs a 14 gauge needle, leaving my husband sitting there with the other needle(sharp side close to his eye) still in his lip and tells him "don't move" doesn't say anything else and walks away. When she comes back she says that someone put the wrong size needle in the 14 gauge needle bin and proceeded to STICK HIM AGAIN! Not even in the same spot but maybe a cm or 2 over causing my husband to bleed a crap ton. Once the SECOND needle was in his lip she grabs the jewelry and when she goes to put it in his lip SHE DROPS IT IN HIS MOUTH! She straight up takes it out of his saliva and blood filled mouth and pushes it through the piecing hole. Once it was over she made a comment of "happy anniversary, I'm only charging you for the jewelry." She didn't even apologize for not only sticking him twice but she didn't even really give him a warning the second time. We paid and left, husband in pain and STILL bleeding. 2 hours later we finally got it to stop bleeding and got it cleaned up, my husband was so sore that even moving his lip was causing pain. Once clean we realized she had not only put it in the wrong spot and you could see the other hole from the first stick but it was also Crooked! We debated on what to do but after about 3 weeks of him in constant pain we called another body mod company in Puyallup and they had us come in. They ended up taking it out and having to Repierce his lip AGAIN! When they took the piercing out (it was purple when they put it in) it had completely changed colors and was pink. Apparently due to the type of jewelry and the first open wound the entire thing was infected! Luckily the other shop took care of my husband and made everything better, even Repierce him in a way that made minimal scaring from the first two piercings. All that said they were completely unprofessional and disrespectful. This place should NOT have as much foot traffic as they do. Please do your research before getting a piercing here. read more

DONT COME HERE. Came in on the friday the 13th flash sale for their $20 piercings. Asked for an anti-tragus piercing and ended up with a surface tragus piercing. Didnt know it was a surface tragus piercing because they didnt allow us to look at the placement. The lady doing my piercing said she has been a piercer for 10 years but ended up getting my piercing WRONG. Everything felt rushed and maybe if it wasnt so rushed they probably wouldve gotten it right. Also explained no aftercare of the piercing and didnt offer aftercare solution either. read more

We were nervous wrecks as this would be my fourth time piercing my tongue, so I thought it was going to hurt badly over scar tissue. Got my tongue piercing today by Brie. After it fully heals I plan on turning it into a split using the tie off method- look it up, it's safer with less rates of infection and heals overall better and has less occurrences of regression than simply cutting or cauterizing it. Priced competitively, found other places in my immediate area charged $20 more so that was a huge bonus. Quickly done, only felt a bit of a pinch- but then again pain is subjective- and got great suggestions from Brie for aftercare, swelling, and pain management as well as a suggestion for the left as the best direction to tie off my tongue since straight off isn't an option for me due to a massive vein in the middle. TIP YOUR PIERCER! God knows she put up with my whiney ass, she deserves tips. read more

Yita gave my mom an incredible nose piercing experience today(6/26/19). She was so friendly and welcoming, and it was quicker and cheaper than anywhere else I've been. It was my mother's first time getting a professional piercing and she was excited but also very nervous. According to her it was almost totally painless. Yita's bedside manner was honestly fantastic, she complimented my mom on how tough she was and how nice it looked. Before we went there today I thought I had had a decent experience with my nose piercing at a different shop last year - they proved me wrong! I was honestly jealous out how good my mom's retrieve was, that absolutely treated her right and did right by her. We couldn't be more pleased. Additionally they had a HUGE selection of different jewelry to choose from for the piercing, and just in general the shop had a very fun atmosphere. Everyone else in there seemed to be having a great time too. Both artists present in the shop today were women, and it seems like it might be a women-run business which I am delighted by and very much in support of. I know that people will be hung up about going to the mall to get work done, but the tattoo artist Jaime is incredible. I just recently spent several hours on a Saturday getting a piece done that I had wanted for years and I couldn't be happier. The tattoo was one that I chose for my Dad who is fighting cancer and I am glad I did it. Jaime had to deal with me blubbering for five hours and he did it all without complaining. Randomly decided to get both of my cartilages pierced because I came to the mall. I was contemplating if I should do both sides. I did one side at first to see how I felt. When my piercer (Yita) did the first one, I literally screamed "holy moly" because I didn't think it would be that quick. I just went with the second one and I didn't have a reaction to it. Ask for Yita when you come get a piercing done. I would totally recommend her. She is very good at explaining things about the piercing, plus she's very quick and painless when doing it. read more

First time piercing went well. Came back for another and was highly disappointed. I went in on Monday thinking they do daith piercings everyday, they don't and it was my fault for not asking before coming so they write the days down for me & I go on my way. Come back Saturday with confirmation Saturday morning and Friday evening that they could do my daith Saturday afternoon when I showed & when I show up they tell me they can't. I ask them why which the manager replies "The piercer requested today off". I asked her why a staff member told me it could be done not once but twice and she said they must've not looked... I asked what she could do to make up for it seeing as I waisted a quarter of a tank of gas, paid toll all to be let down because of their lazy staff to which she told me nothing could be done and didn't even apologize.... Me and my girlfriend went in for her to get a little Pinterest rose tattoo on her wrist and then the girl told us a 45 minute wait so we go and sit down. About ten-twenty minutes later a girl came up and asked about what tattoo idea and told us absolutely not to the size she was thinking and then "absolutely not" for doing it for the shop minimum. she then quoted us at "at least $180" thats completely ridiculous and i think they were trying to take advantage of my girlfriend because she doesn't have any other tattoos. we then went to a different tattoo parlor and got it for a shop minimum in the size she wanted and the new shop laughed about the 180 dollar price we were told. Long story short definitely avoid this place unless you want a completely over priced tattoo by some egotistical people. read more

I got my nose pierced here about four years ago and it was everything I hoped it would be, it was painless for me minus the little pinch and they were super sweet and for some reason my mom marked down that I have faint spells so they had me sit down and were really sweet to me and gave me a snack and some juice to calm down my nerves, i'm definitely coming back to get my bellybutton pierced and I trust them, they are clean and she told me and warned me of everything that would happen and everything happened pretty much as she said but everyone is different, they are very careful and they actually care about your well-being. :) read more

Wife just got her nose pierced here. Staff here are kind and knowledgeable. Being in the medical field and watching how clean they kept their environment was nice to see. Also when my wife started to lose color they noticed right away. They were right on it to help her get into the right posture to help her and also get her some apple juice. Good job on them. I got my tongue and nipple pierced here.. They turned out well and i'm happy with them. However, I've seen some very horrible piercings come out of there. So be cautious. Go with the male piercer, not the female she likes to pierce things crooked and not place them properly. And don't expect your jewelry you get from there to last you very long. Better off spending a bit more money for quality jewelry that won't strip out in a week. Update.. turns out my nipple was pierced incorrectly and I had to take it out. I got my nose pierced here and that went fine! My issue is with the jewelry I've bought from here. This was the first place I've seen that have carried septum clickers - and they're relatively cheap. My first piece was lovely but lasted only about a month before it started to tarnish - which is strange because I cleaned it very often and I thought I'd bought surgical steel? In any case, I went and bought a similar piece and for the life of me, I can't get it to open correctly. There are no returns on body jewelry, which is reasonable, but that's $15 wasted... Got my daith piercing today. Brie was very gentle, and she explained every step of the process. The shop is very clean, and professionally run. I have to be honest, I was a little nervous before going in, because when I think of going to the mall for a piercing, I think of the teeny bopper stores that use the guns to pierce- not the case here! Kelly was wonderful, it was a fast process, but he talked me through the whole thing, and even though he was somewhat busy, I didn't feel like an assembly line. He was very sweet and I felt really well taken care of. The place was clean, organized and sanitary. My nose piercing cost $46, and they used a medical grade steal piercing. I wanted a ring, but they told me they don't pierce with rings initially to prevent infection, because they are more difficult to care for, I appreciated that, because I wouldn't have known otherwise.
