They have three estheticians: Sharon (also the owner), Alice, and Cecilia. I always seem to end up with Alice or Cecilia, and they're both very skilled. It's worth noting that English is not their first language, so be patient with them. I do speak Mandarin, so I have an easier time communicating; it's been great getting to know them personally over the past 3 years. I've only ever gotten European facials here, so I can't speak for other services they offer. For me, I get a cleanse, steam, gentle extraction, gentle exfoliation with rubbing clay (instead of acids), serum, a fantastic and relaxing face massage, and mask. They always offer eyebrow tweezing, which I decline. Tip #1: Remember to pay for parking, and pay 2h if you have 1.5h appts, in case things run over. I got a ticket once and it suuuucked!!! That's like the price of one facial :( The meter maids there definitely do their job. Tip #2: I recommend the package. As of today, a European facial is $110 alone, or $85 if you buy a 10x package. However, my last visit left me a little disappointed because while it was extremely relaxing and the service was great, I'm not so happy with how my actual nails turned out :-( I did the Volcano Spa service for both my pedicure and manicure which were absolutely lovely, along with gel remove and gel on both my fingers and toes. The 10 minutes of massage for both were so nice, especially the shoulders and upper back that came with the manicure. But during the gel remove, the gel on my fingers was removed with the drill. It was the same on my toes but I don't have an issue there. Normally I wouldn't mind, but my natural fingernails were drilled down so thin that even though I cut my nails short, they're ripping at the ends with normal daily wear and tear. I went on Saturday morning and I've had two nails rip at the ends already and it is only Tuesday morning. I'm not sure if it was because I came in with long nails already (imagine asking for a medium-long set) and they may have been mistaken for gel-x or something of the sort, but it was just my natural nails with gel on top. I can even feel on all of my fingernails just how thin they were drilled down because suddenly all my nails are very flimsy, even with several gel coats on top. The rest of the service and experience were great, so it's a bit disappointing to feel like I regret how much I paid because of how weak my fingernails became after this appointment. Regardless I would still return in the future if I want the pampering experience, but if I can do without the massage and just need my nails done I may choose another salon instead. Just something to note if you're someone who is worried about your nail strength. UPDATE 8/4 9:48PM: Another nail ripped pretty far down just from scratching my head :-(

A very tasteful, custom design for an 11 y.o. They lasted almost 4 weeks but finally time to take them off. We made an appt for 2:30 today and due to Jenny not getting the message we had to wait about 30-40 minutes. Not the biggest deal, really nice out and our favorite boba spot just a few blocks down Polk St. When we got back the other woman in the shop started taking off the gels, they were taking a while to saturate enough to fully remove so the cotton with acetone and foil had to stay on longer. My daughter's fingers started burning and when we let them know, Jenny prompted the other woman to take a look. Not ready yet so while the owner was finishing up with another client this other woman needed to take care of it. At one point a customer had to ask this other woman to help my daughter, that she would kindly wait. It took over an hour to remove and clean up her nails, no manicure after. Two hours later my daughter's poor fingers are still burning. Jenny was quite apologetic and adjusted the price as a courtesy. We love Jenny but maybe she needs some more support in her shop.

I love smelling the aromatherapy right when I enter the room and her heated facial bed is so comfortable; In combination with her facial massage, I often catch myself doozing off and even snored a few times during the sessions lol From the very first visit, I felt Erika was very attentive, knowledgeable, and honest. She checks in with me to make sure I'm comfortable, she's gentle during the facial, and provides advice along with product recommendation for my home skin care routine. My skin was really dehydrated and instead of advising me to get more frequent facials from her she emphasized on having a good home care regimen. I followed her suggested skin care routine at home, continued with getting her facials and really do see a difference. I know with my facials, since hydration is my issue Erika really targets on hydrating my skin. If you have a different concern, I'm sure she'll tailor the facial to target your needs. I will say she puts a lot of care and thought into every client she comes across!

Parking is your usual SF scramble but doable. Lots of cafes and restaurants to hang out before and after the facial. Facilities - clean and modern. The table and sheets feel luxurious and it had a very upscale spa vibe. I took note of the robe she provided so I can purchase it for myself later. Facial and Erika- amazing! This was my first ever facial so I have nothing to compare it to. Erika took her time to explain the steps as they happened. It was 70minutes of serene self care. The products smelled wonderful and felt high quality. I'm looking forward to making this part of my routine self care every two months. Erika is amazing!!
