She arrived on time but they required me for the first appointment, so for that they canceled my kids out before they even had a chance. Talk about heartless!! Now my little ones have to wait longer to get the help they desperately need. If you need dental attention, look elsewhere. If you want to be treated kindly, then DO NOT GO TO Reedley Dental Care. Having my my teeth cleaned is something I look forward to and overall good hygiene and health are very important to me. From the moment I found this office was in network, I began to read reviews; the good energy and positive experiences is why I chose them. On arrival I was greeted by the unbelievably talented Dr. Neikka Faried with warmth and provided me with great understanding of my insurance coverage. Then, the one and only Hillary took me to the back for a cleaning. She did a great job and even taught me some fun facts about my teeth. Finally, Blanca was very gentle with the process of taking oral xrays. Once I was deemed a clean oral bill of health, Dr. Behzad Faried (Neikka's father) checked me out for braces. I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. John K Lee's office…read more I was scheduled for a cleaning and ended up waiting outside in the heat for about an hour because the office doors remained locked until 1:00 p.m. By the time I was finally able to go inside, I was drenched in sweat. Once I checked in, the staff informed me that my insurance was out of network and that a basic cleaning would cost around $300. They acted as though this had already been communicated to me, but it had not. If I had been notified before my appointment, I never would have taken time off work or made the trip. To prepare for my cleaning, my orthodontist had removed my archwire earlier that day. Because the cleaning couldn't be completed, I had to return to my orthodontist without having the cleaning done, disrupting multiple appointments that had been carefully coordinated. I understand that insurance networks vary, but that information should have been communicated before my appointment--not after I had taken time off work, waited outside in the heat, and coordinated my orthodontic treatment around the cleaning. The lack of communication and respect for my time made this an incredibly disappointing experience.
