My family has gone to Kellogg and Grant for 15+ years. I haven't gone there because of my first cleaning there the hygienist while nice, talked with her hands and I think cleaned maybe half my teeth but I digress. We have always been insured and always pay our bills - often before even leaving the office because they're aggressive. Imagine my surprise when last year I got a statement with a "mystery" past due balance and an EOB denied for timely billing for claims over two years old the office decided to rebill. I called and was told sadly their biller passed away so they decided to rebill everything not knowing what was paid, billed etc. Since then I've called and written to state I won't pay conjured up three-year-old charges. This is why there's a balance billing law now to protect patients from what is either their incompetence or fraudulent billing practices. read more

All my life I have dreaded dental visits. The pain associated with scraping, grinding and pulling experienced as a kid when my folks took me to dentists made me avoid dental offices. I neglected regular and necessary dental exams as an adult until I found this office. Here at Kellog and Grant they are professionals and my bad experiences are a thing of the past. They offer to numb me before my procedures and even the fear of syringes don't impact my visits. Needless to say, Kellog and Grant has substantially improved my dental health, and I receive regular compliments on my pearl white smile. Above all, I feel healthier. K&G accept many insurances and are affordable for out-of-pocket expenses. My doctor here is Rocio Estremadoyro. Her team is first class and use the latest state-of the art equipment, not the prehistoric hammer and chisel other junk offices employ. 53rd, the ladies the front office are smokin' beautiful-- which makes looking forward to keeping appointments easy. 5 well-earned stars for Kellog and Grant. read more

I did have good visits for over the past 15 years, but I was extremely disappointed in the staff Chris Araiza, Receptionist and the lack of her professionalism. I felt she did not have any respect for listening to me. At least I was offended and did not appreciate by that. Dr. Adam Grant DDS is our dentist at Kellogg and Grant Dentistry. We have been patients of Dr. Grant for several years. It is always a pleasure to go to the dentist. This fact is a real change since I did not like to go to the dentist. The office is warm and comfortable. The staff is friendly, helpful and professional. Dr. Grant is very friendly and has a very positive attitude. He also has a great sense of humor. He takes time to talk with you when you see him. There are a variety of service that are offered. Other dentists at this office are Dr. Yesenia Rocio, DDS and Dr. Ronald Kellogg, DDS. They are all very competent, professional and friendly. Lori is the person I go to for teeth cleaning. I have been going to Dr. Grant for over 6 years and today I was extremely disappointed in the staff and the lack of professionalism in the office! I made an appointment today to get my teeth cleaned and I show up only to receive x-rays. I am then walked up front to talk to scheduling and Elisa was very rude and unhelpful. Apparently in their notes I was only scheduled for x-rays and not cleaning. Why I couldn't do both like I have done in the past is beyond me. Now why would a patient call in asking for x-rays and NOT a teeth cleaning? They wouldn't! The office acknowledged that I had inquired about a cleaning but they never scheduled it even though it was clearly written in their notes that that was the reason for my call! When I asked if I could speak to the person who set up my appointment magically their notes can't determine who I spoke with and who made the mistake. I am losing my dental insurance at the end of the month and they offered to schedule me another appointment for a teeth cleaning in get this, 6 months! You have a world class operation that will call me 3 times to remind of the my appointment but yet can't determine who made the mistake that cost me a day off of work! Your office has obviously grown to a point not to care about the individual patients that make up your business! I know dentist make a lot of money and rightfully so with their hard work and schooling....Well I don't and I had to take the morning off of work to come in and the only solution I am offered is to come back again tomorrow for the one thing (cleaning) that I set up the appointment for in the first place. Then I am told if I don't show up tomorrow I would be charged a cancellation fee! I explained I would not know until tomorrow if I could come back in again (day 2 of taking time off of work) and I am offered my walking papers and to be placed on a cancellation list? What is the point of setting up an appointment and waiting months to get in? Dr. Grant is a GREAT guy but true leadership is reflected in your employees and I have yet to come to your office and see the same face behind the counter twice! Your dentist office has left a bad taste in my mouth, and I am very disappointed in my experience your staff! read more

When was the last time your dentist sent you a check? A friend recommended Dr. ROCI0 and I've had three visits with her over the last couple of months. The first time we met she actually sat down next to me for 10 minutes and went over all my x-rays, explaining tooth by tooth what was going on and what her recommendations were. I've never had a dentist do that. I've never had a physician take that much time, either. As a nurse, this is the model that I try to follow: take time to get eyeball to eyeball with your patient and find out what's on their mind and then figure out what you need to do to help. But time constraints are real. Sometimes as a patient you feel like you're on a conveyor belt and the healthcare provider is trying to see is many a day as possible. Apparently this office has a different philosophy. Everybody I've met with from the front desk to the hygienists to the dentist yourself has been a model of cordiality and professionalism. On top of which, Dr. Rocio's chair-side manner is sensitive and caring. I actually dozed off while she was working. And then today they sent me a check for $51.00. I had to call them up and ask them what was going on. I have never seen any physician or dentist who did something like this. Apparently my insurance company paid more than they needed to so they're refunding the difference to me. Heck of a business model: Instead of a surprise bill you get a surprise refund. read more

I have been going to Dr. Grant for many years and I absolutely love him and his staff. I have been in management for many years, healthcare management in particular for 6 years, and this office has managed to hire the most exceptional staff. Everyone is competent, extremely friendly, and it's just a really exceptional environment. I would strongly recommend, and have, this practice to anybody. Been here only three times. Clean waiting room, and nice front desk staff. Daughter was getting a cleaning and mentioned that floss wouldn't go through front top teeth because of her gums being low behind the teeth and a permanent retainer on the inside. She further explained that her previous dentist and hygienists never tried to force floss threw to avoid cutting her gums. After explaining this, the hygienist, Ashely, says "Wanna make a bet!?" then forces the floss through and cuts my daughter's gums where they bleed. She first denies that she cut my daughter's gums to where they would bleed until my daughter touched her gums to show her. THEN hygienist says "your gums are bleeding because you touched them". We DO NOT APPRECIATE this hygienists unprofessional and uncaring attitude. We WILL NOT be returning to this office. read more

Don't bother. In the beginning they are all wonderful. They have have too many patients that they can serve or have tune for. 3 months for a 15 min appt slot time frame??? You have to schedule your cleanings a year in advance. Someone falsified my chart and they didn't know "who" entered the info. I've had crowns last 15 years and all of Kellogg's work the past 5 years had to be redone snd repaired by a new dentist. I paid thousands to their office and they don't care about the patient. It's bs'ing with the assistant and Kellogg thinking he's funny singing or talking about his wife. Pick another office. Poor shotty work. Rude front office that they are turning over like flies. I've been coming to see Dr Kellogg for many years. I recently brought my wife in and she has had two different terrible experiences. Both with the same hygienist (a different one than I used to see, however). She was rough, did not listen to any concerns, and looked annoyed when she was asked to wait, and when asked to stop she did not stop. A needle for numbing was used without explanation or consent, and again when asked to please stop, she did not stop, and stuck her with the needle anyways! Beyond appalled at the behavior of the hygienist and that when addressed with staff, no one seemed to care. I assume it was brought to Dr Kellogg's attention, but only the office manager called to follow up, and besides that everyone just seems to be blowing us off. No offer to fix what happened, and as far as I know the hygienist is still working there with no repercussions. As far as a dentist, Dr Kellogg was great. As far as a business aspect, 0/10 do not recommend. When faced with an actual problem in the office with one of their staff, no one seemed to know what to do and did not seem to want to "bother" Dr Kellogg as he was on vacation that day. We are looking into legal action against this hygienist due to her actions that day. read more

I am a recent employee who prior to working for Kellogg and Grant had heard nothing but great things about the company and staff so I was definitely excited when I received an opportunity to finally work there. The doctors are Amazing to work for so I definitely want that to be noted and not overlooked in this review, but after accepting the front office position and working with the office manager Erica Gaitan I finally understood why there has been a recent high turnaround in the front office. She has to be the absolute worst and laziest supervisor I have ever worked for in my entire career. She is very immature and degrading to her staff at times and in all honesty gets paid to do absolutely nothing but hide in her office while dictating all her duties and spends hours with fellow employee Rachelle gossiping while the entire front office staff is busy and busting their tails off to satisfy patients and keep things organized. She does not provide coverage when people call in or go to lunch and just expects the front office girls to get it done with no help and understaffed. From conversations with other staff members it's stated that she was a terrible lead who did absolutely nothing to lead her girls and that continues today as she was promoted to office manager. I feel it's a disservice to patient's that the front office is not fully staffed and trained and that the employees that do work there are over worked and barely holding on and surprised they are not resigning themselves. As long as the leadership continues I do not see there to be any new employees that will come in and tolerate a leader like Erica and it is quite frankly not fair to the amazing Dentist who have other priorities to focus on, and it's also unfair to the current staff that deserve better leadership and not someone who is taking advantage of company and treating her employees unfairly and providing them no type of support. As long as she is getting paid and off on her Wednesdays she doesn't have any care that the front office girls are consistently in need of help but yet instead overlooks the fact that they are the ones that are truly allowing the front office to properly function while still providing great patient care despite working conditions. I can only hope things change for the girls currently upfront but I do know that they are worth much more and hope they go where appreciated and with better leadership. read more

Being that the last dentist I had visited was a Western Dental office, this was a total 180! At the Western Dental office I always felt like I was a burden on them, the staff was unhappy and unfriendly. My manager and coworker told me about Dr. Kellogg so I decided to give him a try! Wow! Is he a great Dentist. He is one character! He makes you feel at ease, he is down to earth and funny! I did not feel like I was at an office. His staff is great! Very happy and friendly! Who isn't terrified of visiting the dentist? We all have been at one point or another, right? I'm one who looks at yelps reviews, which truly says a lot about a business. After being referral by a coworker and after checking out the ratings online, I decided to give it a try. I was greeted right from when I stepped foot in the office by the friendly and polite front personnel. The lady who took my x-rays was also very friendly and maintained a positive attitude as she carefully listened to my tooth concerns. Dr. Grant was wonderful!! I seriously did not feel as if I was at a dentist office- he's awesome!! Why, because a good Dr. listens to you, examines and takes good care of his/ her patients. He made me feel super comfortable and him singing along to the music that was playing in the office was rad! What Dr. does that? One who is comfortable, confident, and simply just awesome. When given a quote for my future dental work I was given a detail explanation and all my questions were answered with knowledge. When I told them what my schedule was and when I was able to come in they kept trying to make appointments for times I could not make it. I came here to establish a primary dentist the other day. Jenna was the one who welcome me and took my x-rays. I come from a healthcare profession background and cleanliness means everything to me. After she took my x-rays she cleaned the mouth piece plus the button she used to pushed in the background. I really appreciate her taking her time to clean everything that she had touched. Then the Doctor Rocio came in and greeted me with a hand shake. Very nice and professional. I like how she didn't pressure me into trying to get my old sliver fillings redone. My last dentist and the staff at willow dental kept bugging me to have them redone. Even though I told them if it's still good and it's not bothering me I want to keep it as is. So, it just shows that willow dental don't listen to their patients and only want the money. Lastly, I got Kathy to do my cleaning. She was so gentle and good at what she does. I didn't feel a thing. Thank you Kathy for being so gentle and making sure I was comfortable through out my cleaning. The ladies at the front desk was also very nice and professional and knowledgeable. I've been to places where the front desk people sit there and talk about their lives out loud. I am very happy with this place. I'm so happy that my sister Jessica M recommend this place to me. He's very nice and personable as a dentist. I was going to him for many years! Until I was mislead that he was an orthodontist. He advised me that I needed Invisalign. I started ortho treatment with this office and was supposed to be under his care but he never even saw me. I was being seen by an assistant, the whole time. Details about the procedure were never given to me but I was very foolishly trusting because I'd been coming here for so long. It turned out, (blessing in disguise!!!) I had a terrible reaction to Invisalign, throat issues, coughing, complete voice loss... After permanent changes made to my teeth, that I was very uncomfortable with, I sought out several opinions by 5 different orthodontists. I learned that Invisalign was not the appropriate treatment for my situation and that I would not need extra work on my teeth after ortho treatment as I was lead to believe by Dr. K. I'm really saddened to share this but I would feel way too guilty if I didn't. If you or your family need braces, please get a consultation or three by a real orthodontist.
