Before purchasing I visited the five closest dealers to me, and Seminole HD really separated themselves and earned my business both in the specifics of the deal and how they interacted with me. The teamed seemed appreciative of my two visits, attentive without being pushy, and genuine. I've been to this Harley many of times over the years and have always had a great experience. Most of my visits were for motorcycle events, charity rides, and for concerts. It seems like this Harley is one of the better ones in my opinion. They are always having bands, events, and grilling on the weekends. Many times we just swing by to see what's going on. I have to admit I've never purchased a motorcycle from this dealer or owned a Harley. Regardless I do love Harley Davidson motorcycles and have test road just about everything they have to offer from 2013 to today. Harley's are Fantastic motorcycles and one of these days maybe I'll get one; however, I own a great 2008 Yamaha with no issues or payments and only cost me less than $100 a year to maintain, minus tires and insurance. Harley has some great merchandise, their single fold leather chain wallets with the zipper chain and securing metal snaps are built so well that four of them have lasted me from middle school until today and yes I use mine every day. I honestly don't know how people walk around with a wallet that can just flop open, the snaps are the best, lol! Harley always has great boots, for riding, and for dress. I've had mine for a little over 10-years now, which is amazing. The staff here are super friendly and will bend over backwards to make a deal. I have a lot of buddies who have bought from Harley and are satisfied with the bikes they purchased and the value the sales team gave them on a trade in. The biggest complaint I hear about this particular store is that it is expensive for repairs and it can take forever to get your bike back from them even for a tire change. There is a ton of motorcycles here, pretty much something for everyone, even electric bicycles for the young ones. Many times you can find a great deal on a non-Harley bike that someone traded in for a Harley. If your not 100% happy with the way your Harley looks or feels, no problem, there are so many Harley OEM and aftermarket parts available you can customize your bike to your hearts content. Currently, I'm a huge fan of the 2024 Hydra-glide Revival. That bike looks amazing, I doubt they will test ride them at the Daytona Speedway, but if they do I am there. Two other bikes that I can see myself purchasing one day would be an equivalent to the 2023 Electra Glide Highway King, or one of their Street Glide CVO's, not that I want to pay the price, but it sure would be nice to own. All-in-all, Harley has a great product, and if I had the disposable income I would definitely purchase one of their motorcycles. I bought a 2022 cvo trike in 2022 for 65,000. I was relatively new to riding and fell in love with the Dante red paint job on this bike. A year and a half later this same bike is selling for 36-42k. This bike depreciated more than 20,000. In my Google reviews the owners made comment about supply and demand at the time i bought the bike. I call it greed and price gouging. I purchased my motorcycle from Siminole Harley with the thought of confidence. having no issues for almost 2 years. Not a bad light or failure reached my 5000 miles. I then took the bike in for a 5000 mile tune up. When taking the motorcycle in I had a bunch of leaves in my air cleaner and did not clean it because it's apart of the service for them to do. I then got my motorcycle after they were "done" and saw my air clear having the same leaves in it. I addressed the issue now wondering if they just took my money and did nothing. They took it back and who knows what they did besides cleaning my air cleaner. leaving Harley my battery light comes on. Taking it right back a long story short now my battery is bad and my charging kit fried too. They definitely messed it up and refused to cover it for nothing. I then stranded with this bike as my main source of transportation paid the difference to fix it and leave. Now 3 months later the light comes back on and they say they cant help till a week as I wanted them to maybe cover the issue. I am taking the bike to a different shop and starting everyone in my path away from these amateurs. They destroyed my electrical system. DO NOT USE! True story! read more

Just finished my endorsement class 6-20-2024. Jon and John were the absolute best. I've been riding around 40 years and still learned some valuable information. Everybody that belonged on the showroom floor seemed friendly and acknolwedged me when I said Hi. But spending two days walking back and fourth to the restroom I encountered some interistering people who were never taught to respond when someone says HI they just gave you that walking dead stare. February 28, 2024. We had an appointment set up at 1:00 today. The appointment was made last week. We came in early. Obviously they couldn't start early. Needless to say we were informed at 3:00 that they didn't have the tires that were for our appointment today. At 11:00 they were looking for the tires and all seemed fine so we left for lunch 1:00 we went to lunch all was fine. We come back still no tires and not one phone call to let us know. We are from out of town, made an appointment, didn't seem to matter. Communication is number one. Why didn't they call at 1:30 saying no tires, must have sold more tires and weren't paying attention to their schedule. Sat at the dealership from 3:00 on with them telling us now that the guy is on his way bringing tires. At 4:40 he arrives with tires. Unbelievable. We are from out of town, had an appointment, sat here until 6:00. Instead of 2 hours it took 5. Again, no communication!!! No compensation Just a sorry it took so long. From the detail guy. They did try to maybe offer us a bike to use with no luggage rack and we had luggage. That was mentioned and they kept saying telling us BS. Very disappointed. Not to thrilled with this place. Have bought parts there and the parts that I needed were always in stock and the parts people always helpful and friendly. So I decided to get my 50K service done there on my 2007 Street Glide in prep for a 2K ride up to the smokies and back. Thought I'd also have them change out the plugs and put on a new air filter too since it was time. Reviewing my bill I questioned the 1/2 hour labor to install 2 plugs and another 1/2 hour to change out the air filter! I told the checkout person this was crazy for 10 minutes of labor and was told it is what it is. Learned my lesson the hard way with the service dept there. Parts are okay to buy there. I was referred to SHD by a dear friend of mine from Florida that bought his bike few weeks prior to the purchase of my bike. He referred me to his salesman Frank, that I had the privilege of working with***GREAT GUY*** I called Frank up from home in Tennessee and I had him check on some bikes for me and he did. So I told him that I was going to drive down on my bike from Tennessee in a few days so I can buy one of the bikes that I was interested in and also trade mine in. So I got to the dealership on Saturday mid morning it was I believe the 15th of February 2020. We looked at one of the bikes, then he was looking for one in particular that I was really interested in, that he personally pulled it out of their second warehouse and had it wash up to show me. We founded alright after it was sold so I understood first come first buy's so we proceeded to see some other bikes that I had my eyes on. I was determined to leave with a bike. I was looking for a certain monthly payment, so after hours of searching we found my bike and they started working numbers up, like your typical H-D dealer. We agree to a price and a ok trading value on my bike that I drove from Tennessee. So I took of from the dealer on my way to the Florida Turnpike going north, stay with family in Ocala that night. Left early that next day which was Sunday and drove to Jasper, Florida just north of Gainesville, Florida. When I got of the bike at the Burger King I looked at the front tire and I noticed that the bearings were showing and they were many missing. So I took pictures to send them to the dealer and I called my salesman and I told him what was going on, and they apologized and they send someone with a closed trailer to pick me and the bike up. Unfortunately I had to get back to Tennessee because of having to work the next day. So I spoke to Buck one of the managers and he also apologized and one word that he said that still sticks with me, will make it right. So I emailed him a small list of items that needed to be checked and I requested to have both front and back bearings replaced and he said that they will make it right again. So I trusted his words that everything was going to be done, he also mentioned that they would deliver the bike to my house in Tennessee. So I was happy with that I trusted again his word. But on Monday I called because nobody had called and I talked to service, my salesman and Melissa the General Manager, and I was told that the tech master was working on it, so again I trusted that everything was being taking care off. So on that same date or the next day I talked to Eli and he mentioned that they did not do the starter issue for me to take care of that up here in Tennessee, and I was like ok even though it was there at there service shop. So when I received my bike on that Wednesday or Thursday I'm trusting again their word that everything else was taken care off. On that Saturday I took the bike out on the driveway to check that the bearings front and back were done, and to my surprise they were not, I saw the one that was torn was replaced in the front but the one in the right side front did not looked replaced(even though Buck said that it was). They left the one on the left front that was replaced with no rubber boot on. I specifically said to Buck that I needed a reliable and road worthy bike I called and talk to the service manager, to the GM and to Buck and they were going to talk it over, and I called back again because it's a one way phone line here. And Buck told me that they were looking for a place to have it done up here in Tennessee and as of today Monday 02 of March 2020 I haven't received and email or a call from no one in the dealer, not even Mickey Mouse has call me I believe Buck had good intentions but I feel like Eli put a stop to it. *******Update*******Update*******Update******* I went down to Daytona Bike Week 2020, stopped by the dealer and spoke to Eli and Buck. I made a service Appt. for that Monday and Eli ok for the rear bearings to be replaced and they also checked on some other things that I did not expect, which I really appreciated. They checked on the start up issue but they did not find anything wrong, and I was told that 08 Electra Glide's start up like that‍ Overall I'm satisfied with SHD and I even try trading my bike for 2013 CVO but we could not come to an agreement by a few dollars, which I was ok. It wasn't my time, but I'll be back. I don't regret buying my bike from them, anything can happen to a preowned bike but they came through an took care of it. Thank you Seminole Harley Davidson for stepping it up, they have the best deals in all the Southeast. Believe me I looked in Tennessee, Georgia and Florida and they out came with the best deal, it was worth my drive from Tennessee. O and yeah they Will NOT be undersold by any other dealer. I would recommend this class to a friend. Matt and Jon were skilled riders. They were both patient and encouraging as they taught us to ride. They were very engaging with the bookwork part of the class. Skill levels of the students ranged from no experience to seasoned riders. We learned on Harley Street 500s. I just completed the Driving Academy. Here's my take on that. You only need bicycle experience and a drivers license or permit to take the class but you need more than that to pass the exam. 2.5 days to learn how to drive a motorcycle, with little to no experience, is very challenging. The 2nd and 3rd day are labor intensive on the motorcycle. It was brutal. By test time, one is physically and mentally exhausted. There is very little room for error. If you stall the engine 3 times or drop the bike during the exam, immediate disqualification. So 3 students out of 7 passed the exam. Those who passed, all had some kind of motorcycle experience. Those who failed, had little to no experience. Also, the 500s are used and abused, so although they are not difficult to handle and are equipped to be dropped, they are not the best. Harley's smallest bike is a 500 so that's what they teach you on. There are other academies with much smaller bikes, even a scooter. With that said, the instructors are knowledgable and did their best but this is a very dangerous sport and your safety and safety of other is their utmost premise. So it's good they don't just pass anyone for the sake of a good passing score for the school. The instructors don't necessarily work for Harley, but tend to teach in various riding academies the same standardized & required MSF course. The classes are basically the same everywhere as far as what they teach because it is an MSF course, so they are at the mercy of the MSF guidelines. There's very little room for error during the test. The training is more difficult than the actual test in the sense that there are only 5 skills you are truly tested on.. winding through cones, U-turn, avoiding and object, curves for example. But.. they teach what is needed to drive safely and deflect an incident since so many things can go wrong. The good thing, if you fail is that you can call it that.. lol.. is that you can retake the test or full course for free within one year, I believe. The instructor will give his recommendations as to whether he/she feels a retake of the exam is in order or the full class. If you pass the written, then you don't have to retake that for a set amount of months.. or up to a year. That cuts out about 5 hours, I believe, although the test is only 25 questions.. not at all difficult. Be ready to spend around 7 hours on the bike, come rain or shine, hot or cold... per day.. for 2 days.. and the exam at the end. Very labor intensive. Even those who are experienced, felt the same. In my opinion, this class should be split into those who are experienced from those just learning (smaller group of maybe 3), even if they have to charge the newbies more to compensate for extra time and small class size.. it should also be split into 4-5 days. Just my opinion. As far as the staff at Harley, they are helpful, whether you're buying parts, merchandise or a motorcycle. I was going to buy a pair of gloves for the course and the cashier advised that those were not the best ones and showed me which ones would work best. She also offered the discount since I was taking the riding course. I most certainly find Seminole Harley a better option than Orlando Harley, although both stores have helpful assistants. Orlando Harley tends to charge MSRP (or more) on motorcycles where Sanford will negotiate better on price. Also, if you take the driving course, they will offer an exceptional discount on one of their bikes. read more

I bought my 2012 Streetglide, Almost 30k will accessories brand new. It included Lojak locator which I found out they installed VPN, a company out of business for 3 years. After a year of battery trouble, come to find the locator device was killing my battery I called and complained to this dealer and Harley Davidson to no avail I was screwed out of Over $900.00 but Seminloe Harley, will never go back or reccomend them to anyone read more

Just last week I heard the sales manager use profanity toward a black woman that had just purchased a new bike from them but was having an issue and needed assistance. The dealership is a home away from home. Yes, they do the donuts in the am, customer appreciation days with food, beer etc., but they're always having special events to bring out the crowds with some really good bands. This weekend, they are bringing out. 30 foot LED TV to play the Fla vs Fla State game, with tons of food vendors, food trucks etc. I'm not a "biker," in that what some people might think a "real biker" is, but I like to ride, have for about 30 years and have made some really great friends there. IMO, their salespeople are there to answer questions without pushing a specific bike on you. I bet I was there 20-30 times with my '01 Road King, always welcomed before I picked up a 2017 Street Glide, and I went to them, not the other way around. Their promo guy Ken is really great - funny as all get out and always planning something. Curly, their parts guy, has a good eye for what customization would work well with what you have already, or are trying to achieve in stages. Are they the closest dealer to me? Yes. I tried multiple times to reach out to dealer I bought from and they ignored my calls to assist with a broken horn that of course should have worked when we bought it . I just successfully completed my BRC (basic rider course) I had a wonderful class! Jon and Mat were PHENOMENAL instructors! They were extremely professional and had great knowledge on the subject. I felt very comfortable to ask questions and to make minor mistakes here and there. Jon and Mat remained calm in tough situations for the riders. Which in turn made us feel very safe, and reminded us that everyone was a beginner at one point! These instructors will forever be my very first recommendation for ANYONE of ANY age to go to. The amount of confidence and knowledge that I left with after passing and receiving my motorcycle endorsement is out of this world. They covered a ton of criteria and seriously couldn't have done a more amazing job. This place lacks diversity, professionalism and appreciation to their customers. I bought a brand new Street Bob FXBBS and thought that the service would supersede my expectations. Actually spoke to Melissa (owner) and did not feel as I was heard for my unfortunate experience but more so reading a script for a campaign, no genuine concern. Not only was I buying a motorcycle but 2 more people with me made purchases and we all shared our distasteful experience. Days later, reverted to Orlando Harley and had a total different experience and was able to make more customization purchases for my bike. I am a Suzuki rider and this is my first Harley so I am excited. This is only my experience but be cautious. I went into this program having at the most a very basic understanding of motorcycles and their operation. I consider myself to be very lucky to have chosen this location because my instructors John and Jose Medina were nothing short of world class. All of the coaches demonstrated a patient yet firm approach to the training. They made the experience very enjoyable and believe it or not......fun! Because of the subject matter, they always kept the class on track and really emphasized the many challenges and safety concerns of operating a motorcycle on public roads (a challenging endeavor in Florida to say the least!). I bought a new voltage regulator from Seminole Harley Davidson, the part carries a 1 year warranty. My bike stoped charging intermittently and my mechanic diagnosed it as the voltage regulator. I brought my regulator to Seminole Harley and was told they can not check it unless it's on the bike. I told them my mechanic stated it was the regulator, they said they have to check it and will charge me 1/2 hour labor to do so. After a verbal disagreement, they waved the fee. I brought my bike to them, the mechanic at Seminole Harley stated it was a loose connection on the stator wire where it plugs into the regulator. I was told that they would replace the stator for $700, I declined. After wasting 2 hours of my time there, I brought my bike home, tightened the plug on the stator by crimping the female connections, bike still intermittently would loose charge. Seminole Harley requested I bring my bike back to them, I requested they just exchange my regulator that is under warranty, they declined. I again brought my bike back to them, they stated they rode it for 10 miles without issue, so they stated all is well. My bike stopped charging on the way home. I am really upset with them at this time because my part is under warranty and I have spent 3 hours at their dealership now with no parts warranty. I ordered a new voltage regulator from another company and this fixed my charging issues. Seminole Harley finally replaced my regulator. So as of now, I am out money for a new regulator and time from them not wanting to warranty the part when I brought it in. I asked the parts manager how they checked the regulator, he responded "we don't have a way to check it", so what the hell did I bring my bike up there for! The owner was no help and did not respond to a few emails. The parts manager talked in circles and was no help. Most of the staff I spoke with were great and full of information. Sean in parts was awesome, he helped exchange my bad regulator. I will not be using Seminole Harley for any future purchases. read more
