Owner Bruce is dishonest. It took over 2 months for him to get me an actual tag which he said was on the way when he never submitted the paperwork. I was issued two temp tags and the second expired while i was waiting for the permanent one. I bought a used Piaggio here a year ago and I absolutely love driving it to work. I live about 2 miles from work and this little thing get me there and back on nearly two gallons of gas every month. Great commuting option! This is also a family owned business and their service is extremely personalized. Before I purchased they wanted to make sure I felt comfortable in one and they even spend time with you after to make sure you get the hang of how the scooter works! Shortly after I bought it I had a flat tire and I called for help. In about ten minutes someone from the shop came over to tow the scooter and repaired it in house for me. Lastly, they even have the ability to register the vehicle- so no trip to the DMV! I think you might even be able to renew your registration there as well! Unless you've been living under a rock, you've come to know that $3.50 a gallon is a decent price for a gallon of gas here in Orlando. Gone are the days of $.99 a gallon or even $2.75 a gallon which seemed astronomically high at the time. Thus, people are turning to alternative methods of transportation when traversing around the city. Most people face these options: cars, bicycles, and a limited public transit system. But there is another choice that many people are starting to make regardless of their age, sex or occupation....the scooter. So to abate my curiosity I headed to this Vespa dealer on Orange Ave. in Winter Park. Once I was inside chatting with the owner, I learned quite a bit about this motorized wonder. First, Vespa, a 60 year old Italian company, is the only scooter brand to be manufactured in steel and not plastic making them a durable investment. I also learned that you do not in fact need a motorcycle license to drive their more basic models and that surprisingly, it is legal not to have insurance and a helmet while riding here in Florida. And drum roll please...they get about 75 mpg and only require a 2.5 gallon tank. So for about $6 you can fill up! I was enlightened even more during my time there which I should mention was fairly quick--exactly what I was hoping for. The salesmen didn't try too hard nor did he keep me there longer than I wanted to be. The showroom isn't very large in part due to the shiny and bright Vespas neatly lined up side by side. Sometimes they have used ones for sale, but that isn't always the case. In the back, they have a registered technician who services the Vespas should they need it. They will also let you test drive one and give you your first lesson free. Plus, should you purchase a scooter, they will take care of the details you most likely won't have time for such as the taxes, title and registration. Overall, I was impressed with my trip to Vespa Orlando and should I decide to jump on the bandwagon of scooter people, I will head back here. read more

This is a review of the Services. I was on a cross country tour and wanted to get a service done on my GTS. They also replaced the back tire. After driving awhile I notice the back tire was really out of balance. I took it to anther dealer to have them check it out and they said the tire was deformed and should have been test ridden and the mechanic would have known it was bad. also that the tire was some cheap no name tire and I was charged $170 bucks. They also over tightened the exhaust gasket clamp which broke and cause the gasket to blow out. I hope they did not mess up anything else when then change the oil, belt etc. I would not recommend this shop for work. read more

In 2009 I bought an LX 50 to get to work. My wife then bought an S 50. We loved these scooters and rode them all over central Florida for three years. In late 2011, we got our motorcycle endorsements and each bought GTS 300 Supers early 2012. These are great scooters! We have put many many miles on them. More great service from Vespa Orlando (VO). We found out the hard way that our 2011 LX150ie was subject to the fuel pump recall after it quit while out on a ride. Roadside assistance wanted over $200 to have the bike towed to the dealer. VO arranged to have it picked up and brought in for the warranty work for a very low and reasonable fee. The fuel pump replacement itself was, of course, free. VO is a great dealership which obviously remains committed to providing the best possible service to their customers.
