I like how they installed wiper blades for me after I bought them. I can do it myself but it would take me longer than it did them. They have a rewards card, but I don't believe I have gotten any benefit from it. Then again, I don't buy a lot as I don't do work myself like I did back when I was younger and vehicles were simpler. They do have pretty good sales sometimes on oil and filters, which I have bought before for a place that just charges five bucks labor if you provide the materials.

When they don't have it, they order it and it usually only takes a few days to arrive. If you do a lot of your own vehicle maintenance I recommend their rewards program. The points add up pretty fast and I've saved a good amount of money over the years this way. I would give them five stars but they are a bit expensive and it seems like most of their employees are poorly trained at running the diagnostic tools such as code readers and battery testers. Most of the employees also seem to have very little mechanical training so they are not much help when it comes to giving advice. Overall a good business and I will gladly continue to do business with them.

I had our older minivan towed there after it threw off its serpentine belt and it was fixed quickly. A few weeks later, when it developed a fan belt noise, I sprayed it with belt lube and thought it didn't help, but by the time I drove it there the noise has gone away. Still, I had them look at it since I was there. They found no problem and didn't charge me for checking it over. An even bigger repair was on our Mini Cooper. It hadn't been shifting easily for long time and I had balked at having an expensive Orlando Mini dealership or European Auto repair specialist replace the clutch for thousands of dollars. Trubey looked it over and rather than the clutch it needed two clutch cables. Still an expensive job but not as much as the clutch would have been. Along with turning a brake rotor and replacing a bearing to eliminate some noises another shop told us wasn't caused by a bearing or the brakes, it was a big job, but now it is quieter and shifts like new again.. For a few years I used a local garage that charged a lot but did good work, or so I thought. But then they lied and recommended work that wasn't really needed, and while they advertised that they could beat any written estimate, they never seemed to make it under their own verbal estimates. I stayed too long with them because it can be a pain to research for a new garage. On one of my Trubey repairs, however, rusty parts or some complication came up that made the job take longer than estimated. But the repair was still performed for the amount of the estimate. What a relief to have found Trubey's.

They charged me $213.99 to remove the studs and retightened. I took it back to Costco, same thing, couldn't budge that back tire. I took it to Barnett Bros and they broke several tools and wore out two big guys getting the wheel off it was so tight, fortunately no damage. They replaced all 5 studs. Good as new. There's no way that LCE got the studs out and retightened to specs. Was LCE lying to me that they removed/loosened the studs? You tell me. Never again.

It's 2019 and I was about to finalize in purchasing my Z. So, I went to some of the other shops and I thought most were pretty decent, but I wasn't quite sold just yet. I went to another facility that was mistakenly listed as a tuner shop, but it was actually a distribution center for tuner parts. While I was there, I asked the lady at the front desk does she know of a good mechanic for Nissans around the area. Literally everyone in the office turned and said "DRZA" and/or "Definitely go see Derek!" I thought, "This Derek must be pretty damn good for everyone in the office to list him as the first choice," besides another shop I didn't go see (and totally forgot). I really wanted to see what this DRZA shop is all the hype about. - MY 1ST IMPRESSION - My first impression was seeing Nissan vehicles (300ZX, Skylines, DRZA's iconic 370, etc) parked like a car meet at the front door. As you can see in their pictures, their shop is organized, neat, and they take great care handling their customer's vehicles. Heck, I could spend about an hour or two just looking at the parked cars there like I'm attending a car show. Now I've been doing business with many mechanics since my first car in 2004 and none... absolutely none were as impressionable as this family's shop. - BUSINESS AND TURN AROUND TIME - Once I started bringing my rides to the shop, I was expecting the turn-around time to be like- I dunno... 2 or 3 weeks? That was my experience with all the shops I've done business with over the decades. Boy, was I in for a surprise (the first time) when Rita called a day or two later to let me know the job's finished. Mind you, Derek is a one-man mechanic running the show! ONE... MECHANIC! Yeah, there's some help that may be there every now and then, but for the most part, it's Derek in the garage and Rita running the administration. - IN CONCLUSION - The shop won me over from the get-go with their professionalism. Their performance and fast turn-around time made me a returning and dedicated customer. When I asked Derek how come it's just him working around here, he said (rephrasing), "...because there's hardly any help who is as serious as I am when working on cars..." Not only did DRZA won me over and made me a returning customer, but I have a high level of respect for Derek and Rita's dedication and professionalism to their work as it all defines the family's shop.
