Ginger matcha milk tea
Sho R.

I stopped by for a quick tea on a Sunday afternoon. The place was bustling with young crowd. Hot ginger matcha milk tea was my favorite item. It had matcha flavor as well as a good kick from ginger. Royal milk bubble tea was my other item. That was good as well. Almond chocolate cake was nice and soft.

Hot Hive Chai, 10/10 highly recommend

Got the Hot Hive Chai which was delicious. 10/10! Spicy heat with the spices of the chai. Wish I lived nearby to be a regular. Very nice staff as well and cute ambiance.

The drinks were really good! I was a little skeptical at first but the owner and cashier were so nice. They host a lot of events here too. I saw some posters for trivia night and a murder mystery. It's nice to see someone building community. It was very busy when we went and they even said they weren't expecting so many people. They ran out of boba but the milk caps were fantastic.

I have loved sencha for years but they just keep getting better and better. My go to order is a watermelon cooler w strawberry jellies but you really can't go wrong w any of their dI haven't caught her name but the lovely lady making drinks is 1) a very talented barista and 2) so kind! She always asks me how my day is and actually listens. The ambiance is very cozy, sometimes it can get crowded but when you come in at a lucky time you can hang out and enjoy the low lighting, fall decor, and board games. They have a customer for life, I love you sencha!

I honestly never knew this was a Boba spot. They have a lot of fun topping options as well as variety for milk and not dairy teas. On State Street they often times also have a chalkboard with a bunch of fun little themes, such as the drink you should get based on your zodiac sign or the drink you should get based on the table with area you were in so it's always a fun experience. if you feel like that's OK, there are plenty of options once you get inside. The staff is super friendly and they have a ton of cute little earrings, stickers, and knickknacks that you can purchase at the checkout as well

Hit me with bubble tea, Sencha!!! This place is a cozy mainstay my god. State Street is peppered with boba places, and Sencha usually delivers. If you're looking for a modest cuppa tea that's packed with sugar this is your place. The environment in here is so warm and there's alwAys cute art on the walls. Great place to study. I'm here on a winter night, tonight. I've definitely written a paper almost into the AM here before. The staff is literally always the kindest! They'll ask you how you are and not in the Trader Joe's way (if y'a know y'a know). Their classic bobas are always good but I'm a sucker for their seasonal teas. Like I got a Cookie Butter Latte. Come on! Doesn't that sounds lush? It was. Getchya Sencha NOW.

Tea, tea, everything tea. My friend who I went with to Sencha is very into tea and loved all the options and was very happy with their drink. I also got a gift here for a tea lover curated by the staff and the recipient was tinkled pink. I tried the turmeric latte with oak milk and it wasn't great (IMO, a non-tea drinker) - not sure if it was the oat milk rather than cow milk but that was a miss. But why would you care what a coffee drinker thinks about a tea drink?!

This is a cute tea place. I got a matcha latte. I ordered it with 3 packets of stevia. When I received my drink the barrista had obviously forgotten them. That's usually not a big deal, but because this is boba place, the lid on my cup was sealed. I ended up pouring the stevia through the tiny hole my straw made. Not the most efficient or tidy, but it worked. Atmosphere is nice. I really liked the selection in the free library area.

Milk tea!

Since moving from California, I was in search for a bubble tea place that could match up to my old favorites. Sencha seems to be a front runner! The location is perfect nestled along State Street. The inside is quite small and bustling with people no matter the time of day. However, service is fast and people are always nice! The sweetness of their milk tea is customizable which is something I really appreciate. Also, I love the amount of toppings that they offer aside from just boba. They're also open till 11PM every night which is an additional plus!

Fast, tasty, cozy and wonderful staff. Their peppermint mocha is a special treat on a dreary day.

One of my fav drink to-go in Madison I've been getting the passion fruit green tea since the first time I came as a a freshman and my friend recommended this to me. Also have tried other ones, tastes nice. Also, a bonus point, there's always nice atmosphere in the store. The staffs are friendly. The store little tables and decors are cute as well

Their tea is top notch and their boba is always fresh and really good. We love how they feature local artists' work on their walls, too.

They don't know how to make a matcha latte. Very disappointing. It was a watered down mess. Couldn't even drink it. Go somewhere else

Love this place, the staff is extremely nice and they use belly. It's not as big as their Minneapolis location but still great.

I ordered…read morethe "CURRY Popcorn Chicken Rice Bowl咖哩鹹酥雞飯" since I was craving some curry on top of my popcorn chicken and it was pretty good. However, it felt like the curry was overly watered down, and I wish it had more thickness to it so you can taste more of the curry roux instead of straight up chili spice Service was nice. Food came out at a reasonable time. You order at a Kiosk or window, and pick it up once your name is called. It is a clean-up-after-yourself spot, so dishes must be placed in the designated area. They were very responsive when I asked if they could refill the communal water dispenser! I enjoyed this place a lot, and the price for the plate was extremely reasonable ($13.50 w/o tax for my bowl) for a very filling meal. I rated it 4 Stars since I wish the curry had more thickness to it and more broccoli (only got 2 broccolis).

I had the Salt & Crispy Popcorn Chicken, and it was good. I also tried their Iced Taiwanese Milk Tea, but unfortunately, it was way too milky for my taste. I prefer the darker, richer, and more bitter style of Taiwanese milk tea, so this one didn't hit the mark for me. Ended up tossing a good portion of it, which was disappointing. The tech ordering screen was super convenient and made the process smooth. Plenty of seating inside, but it was a bit humid, which wasn't the most comfortable. Overall Service: There wasn't much direct interaction since everything was done through the tech screen, but the staff did call out my number and it was a pleasant interaction. Quick and efficient!

Pistachio one was my favorite. There were many Asian ice creams. Propitious mango was a good one. There were a lot of small food places in the food hall. I tried food from a lot of different places. The food hall had a lot of seats, and was neatly maintained. It was never crowded. Kawasaki is close to the entry of Global Market. So the first time I was there, I went straight to this place. I had a Chicken katsu rice bowl. It was one of the best food I had in the food hall. Display had some very delicious and cute cakes. Next time I should try some of that. Taiwan Street has nice pho and bubble tea. I went for a pistachio milk shake, without bubbles. It was good. But I think I should have really went for a pho. They have a lots of sweets in display. I went for a peach swiss roll and a sesame ball. Both were good. From Dumpling House, I went for a chicken and mushroom dumpling and chinese chive pie. Both were good . It came steaming hot. I think I should have gone for some of their more favorite items like chive and pork dumpling. From Nice Flavor Stir Fry , I went for a sauteed sliced lamb with cumin. Generally this is a really flavorful dish which you cannot go wrong with. But it wasn't as good as I expected. Flavors were off, and the quality fo meat was not as good as I expected. Stir fry chicken mei fun was my favorite item from Bowl Bowl Rice. It came hot and was flavorful. I also had a tea leaf flavor egg. It was just $1. But it came with egg shell. I had to peel it. Egg was slightly less flavorful than I expected. Mochi donut is the main item in Glazed. There were some food items as well, but I didn't find takers for that. I went for 3 donuts - Oreo, honey dew and churro. The flavors were all interesting. May be oreo was my favorite. Donut texture was more chewy. From S&B Hmong Kitchen, I went for a fried rice from this place. It was flavorful. Cilantro and scallion on top gave a nice flavor kick. From Poké Mì, I went for a drunken noodles as my entree. It was not as good as I expected. Flavors were off. May be I should have gone for bahn mi. I haven't seen sugar cane juice anywhere else in Madison. So went for one. I thought it was just ok.

Food 3.5/5 Service 4/5…read moreAmbiance 3/5 Teamoji's honestly a pretty bubbly and bright place in the middle of downtown Madison. Their vibrant interior is coupled with some pretty nice drinks - I actually quite liked the osmanthus oolong. The mochi donuts were unfortunately a bit lackluster - they were served room temp (some places serve these slightly warmed), but they also lacked that characteristic chew of a good, fresh mochi donut. Overall, not a bad place for tea, but maybe there's a different snack that would strike my fancy.

A couple of young people in front of us at it down pat, but after we screwed around and tried to figure out and it took a while and someone helped us, sure enough to other couples after us were asking us for help. LOL With that being said, they Decor is super cool and super fun, super young and perfect for a college campus. Great colors, lots of white felt bright and open. The vibe inside was very friendly and fun, we were the only non-asians in there, and we are the oldest by double the age of the average customer. So while we stood out like sore thumbs, we had a great time and everyone was done talking and mixing together and seem to be having a nice hang out. It was Christmas night, and it was busy, so I can imagine what this is like during the middle of a semester. We ordered two drinks and they were absolutely delicious and fresh and really interesting flavors. We ordered one of the wacky Korean corn dog special options, a corn and potato mozzarella cheese dog on a stick. It was weird, the outside crunchiness was sweet and maybe Savory but the inside cheese had no flavor. Nonetheless, it was cool and I could see it, again, it being a fun thing for the Young crowd. The all gender neutral bathroom was clean although the hand blower didn't work. The young man preparing the drinks was super cool and friendly and helpful, and he was moving along quickly. Unfortunately, the girl on the other side of the shop, making the corn dog, took forever and a week, it took like at least 30 or 40 minutes for us to get a stupid corn dog. That was really annoying.
