We travel from Galena IL to a doc's offices in Stoughton. Hidden gem of a coffee shop. Well prepared Americanos', espressos', etc. staff is always smiling and helpful. Love their avocado toast, other menu suggestions, and freshly prepared goodies in the glass case. Always busy but the friendly patrons always make room. read more

Stoped here on a whirlwind coffee adventure. Staff were kind, patient and helpful. My toddler devoured their chocolate chip cookie which was apparently delicious. They have a cozy ambience but even when full of people it's not too crowded feeling. Prices are a bit high. I got a butterfly pea limeade which was pretty and delicious. Prompt and polite service. Good ambiance, although the chairs are a little close together for more private conversations. The decor is nice and fun. Drink menu is more extensive then food menu, unless you are counting all the ways to modify grilled cheese. I had a breakfast biscuit which was sadly dry and lacked flavor. A little cheese or aioli might have helped, but so would a more buttery biscuit. Latte was nice, but I think they do the same thing everyone seems to, and have premade espresso shots that they then add the milk to--it wasn't steaming hot. I took home an orange scone, and that was nice and moist with good flavor, so I'd guess the biscuit was older or something. Still, got me through a long shift. read more

This cute little cafe is a great find! Delicious coffee and chai, and a small but excellent cafe menu. We got the seasonal meal called The Situation. Sautéed potatoes with bacon and shredded cheddar and pimento cheese, and egg on top, and sliced avocado. So good I forgot to take a pic. Service was great. Don't let the street parking scare you. We had asked for whole milk in one of the americanos and it was left with room, and was told the one we had asked to have oat milk would be left with room and could put our own amount in. It was already in which was okay. Just confused. I also ordered a cheese biscuit because the menu made it sound delicious. Kinda bummed it was stale. Probably really good fresh. This place could use a few things to button up the charm and add maybe one more cheese option to the menu other than pimiento. I like pimiento cheese, but it kept us from getting breakfast because my partner doesn't like it. If there were a cheddar or American option, we would have gotten breakfast, too. read more

On my first trip here I was wanting so badly to give a 5 star review, just a little disappointed that napkins weren't stocked and we had to ask for silverware, etc... At the time, I felt that they were just a little understaffed and had a few kinks to iron out. Flash forward a few months and Wildwood has full on impressed me. Such a cute little coffee shop with genuinely good people as owners. On my last trip, they had more staff to help stock and clear tables, they brought in a live musician (love stuff like that!), and my sister even took pictures of their decor as inspiration for her own house. We had a great conversation with the owner about PSI (plants per square inch) and how it's ok to push the boundaries. And as always, their food is top notch! I have been following wildwood on social media and they regularly post about hours, events, and other items that are important to them. Currently, they are offering free meals to government employees that have been affected by the shut down, and are collecting gift cards for gas and food to further provide support. We came here for breakfast one morning while in town for a wedding. As soon as we entered, I was struck by what a darling place it was! The details from the beautiful and ornate wallpaper, to the succulents on the tables were all very charming. One of my favorite things was the beautiful blue and white tea cups and bowls. Oh and not to forget that they were cutting down on waste with metal straws and reusable water cups! The woman behind the counter who took our order was really sweet, she was so cheerful as she answered our varied questions and helped us decide what to order. I ended up going with the yogurt and granola, which had some unique and delightful flavors. Everyone in our fairly large group was able to find something they liked. Cozy little place off the beaten path! We finally got a chance to try it out, and boy do they have THE BEST hot chocolate! If you like ice coffee though, I'd stick to what you're used to. The barista was confused by my husband's order and he said it just didn't taste the same. A charming surprise in small town Stoughton, Wisconsin that is well worth the stop! Super cute, modern vibe with a great little breakfast menu. We enjoyed our expertly made cappuccino in actual china cups and tasty breakfast sandwich biscuits. The shop's proprietors young children were in tow running the place during our visit! It was such fun to see them operating the register, clearing tables, making drinks and providing such professional service, all under the careful watch of their parents while they chatted with customers. Well, I love coffee shops and am from the Stoughton area and that being said they may be a nice coffee shop but I have gone there four times and each time they were either closed or just closing and it was around noon. Well, real coffee shops in a small town need better hours than closed by noon or one. I realize being a small business owner is hard but that is not a real coffee shop. I wish Stoughton had a actual coffee shop on Main Street with regular hours as I truly miss the small charm of being able to go to have coffee and relax. I started going to Oregon, wi as they have great hours and a huge following. Maybe, just maybe these new owners will figure it out better. read more

This place is snooty and their espresso is expensive and mediocre. They don't serve sugar substitutes because they are artificial! I asked about Stevia and they just got belligerent and replied that they have honey. Sugar is poison. Honey is pure sugar. Stevia is natural and actually as health benefits! Idiots. I tried an omelette too and it was mediocre. People think it's cool to have a local "natural" product cafe however all that means nothing if the end product isn't high quality with great service. read more
